  1. I CAN NEITHER CONFIRM NOR DENY I mean his cape does flap in the wind when there is no wind. Very mysterious. Very. *Rhaedyn takes off helmet. It's another helmet*
  2. Rhaedyn and Xion: Unfortunately not with Good King Moggle Mog the XIVth. Xion let the man rage. "Such is humanity. Because one of us is strong you assume they are fine. The overworld is amok with such power. And if a parent ceases to worry, no matter how capable a child is, then I wonder if they ever do care for their children." In truth, she had grown all the more protective since Eclaire had been banished from Mare Luxuria...and she refused to see her daughter anything less then happy and healthy. Taking a drought of the potion, she stepped through after them...then kicked off and flew, throwing her arms around Eclaire once in range. "BY THE GODDESS YOU FOOL." she roared. "No note, no letter, no message!" She seethed. "I didn't know if you were even free!" Eclaire didn't stumble much, ears drooping. "Y....you came?" "Yes." Was all she said, letting go, she stepped back. "Wish you'd quit running off now." Eclaire only smiled softly. "Yes, mother." Thane lumbered up behind them. How did he drink the potion? Did he remove his helmet? Did he reveal his face? Who knows. Find out nextime on Overworld FighterZ Boudakei Tenshi 4.
  3. Rhaedyn Thane and Xion - Pissed Xion stalked forward, shoulders set, amber eyes flashing angrily. "You utter fool. You know nothing of alchemy and it's intricacies. You ask not then put the only way forward into wine, when water is the safest way to dilute concotions." She held herself back. Ripping the fool apart would do nothing, and provoke the wrath of Thane. She pointed at the flames. "I came for my daughter, and I won't let your foolish ignorance be the end of me." Thane rested a gauntlet on her shoulder, then turned to Alderon. "Hastiness is the progenitor of destruction. When in a labyrinth of tests and challenges, it is foolhardy to act rashly. If you have ruined the potion, then you have doomed us to backtracking and finding a new way. Alchemy has been refined and made better, but properties in even wine can change. You only get one failure in life. Woe to the man who wastes it on haste." he fell silent and turned to watch Odin test it. Eclaire - At the Door The girl would nod to Athena. "As you wish, ma'am." She backed off and followed them through, until they finally reached the door. With the Key ahead now with Helios, she turned to Rabiyu. "And if Helios fails? What if another basilisk attacks him? If he dies, the key is lost to us, and the path ahead locked. Waiting could net us the safest option, but if we only wait, could we not be waiting till time's end?" She crossed her arms. "Any one of us can fail a test. Some of us failed the riddle, no? How can we sit and wait when he could already be dead?"
  4. Happens man, I know the feeling. Didn't mean to come off annoyed :c
  5. I've been waiting for Endless and there's been nothing directed at me, unless my eyesight is really that bad D:
  6. Xion and Thane: Riddle of the Philosopher's Potion Puzzle Thane merely nodded. Looking at the potion, then the door, he stayed silent. First he would ensure this was no trap Meanwhile, Xion growled to herself. "Idiot! Going straight, your daughter is wet spaghetti!" She rubbed her head. "I agree with her. Those are the ones we need. I'll go on ahead, just so I can make sure the first thing she finds is my angry face."
  7. Rhaedyn THANE and Xion w/Odin and Company Thane and Xion caught up. The others had made it past, though Thane stopped. Eying Alastor, he chose to wait. War was hell. War was over. Justice may wait. "Are you those who seek the Source to protect, or use it? Thane announced his presence with an inquiry, Dawnmourne held in his hand. Xion pushed past the metal man. "Has anyone seen a pink-haired girl, probably acting foolish?" She demanded, ignoring the table for now. "I know she's here." Eclaire w/ the Crates people Eclaire watched her start climbing, then took flight, hovering behind Athena. "Allow me to carry you, ma'am." She asked courteously. "It would be better to save what strength you have." She smiled lightly, offering a hand. For now, reconnaissance.
  8. Xion was told Eclaire was at the castle, went there, scared Fiona into telling her where her daughter went, then dragged Thane along on the way and accidentally left Scrap's char Mikhail. And I was going to have them meet with odin's group atm, and make it somewhat easier if that's ok. I don't want to push too much on you D:
  9. I threw Rhaedyn and Xion in, because it seems most of my characters have been left to the wayside. they're just going to follow Alastor's stormyness, to somewhat balance out the groups - since Odin's group has like. 4 people and the cobra group has.... ten?
  10. -Eclaire - with almost everyone else- Landing, she dissolved her spear back to Armory, and rejoined the others. Her tail flicked a bit, her catlike eyes moving over the crates. As Arthur and Athena conversed with the others, she pressed a hand to one of the crates. Frowning, she looked over them all, then reached back to grasp Shiva. The blade seemed to hum under her hand, and she let go and turned back. She had made a poor decision, but wordplay was never her strong suite....and it seemed a majority of the group currently was here. "Where is Thane when you need a mountain moved." She muttered to herself. Leaning against the crates, she closed her eyes and merely listened to the others, weighing the next move. -Rhaedyn Thane and Xion Izanami- The Iron Lord stepped over the bodies of guards and headed inside. Right behind him was the Queen of the Succubi, who was less regal and more...maternal panic. "She had to have come here, I feel her." She looked around, now at the doors. "Why did that damn maid not speak up sooner?" "Patience, Nightqueen." He intoned. "We are far behind, but close." "Why are you even here, Thane?" She growled, looking at the damn doors. "I'm here to make sure my idiot daughter doesn't die." The man was quiet for a moment. "An oath to keep with final breath." Xion looked at him. Frowning, she headed straight ahead. "I hear people. One of them should know." Thane merely followed as the sole-minded Succubus just walked straight ahead, and kept walking straight. She was on a mission. "Gods be damned, a maze." She was pissed. "That damn girl will be lucky if I don't collar her in a dungeon!" Thane actually sighed. He should have double-checked that Mikhail had a way to keep up. The Witcher, at least, would have been far calmer company.
  11. Eclaire: Lines up the perfect shot. Arthur makes it perfect. Prays the idiot moves.
  12. Eclaire: Why did it have to be snakes? Eclaire had reacted quickly. Grabbing Athena and lifting off, she dropped the girl off with Arthur once the hole was made. As everyone began attacking, she summoned In Paradisum, herself now crackling with lightning. Smiling briefly at Arthur and Athena's kiss, she lined up her shot. Everyone was striking it all over, but only Arthur had struck the head. As it coursed with lightning, she breathed. "Seal of the Goddess of Light: Ruination of a False Sovereign." A Seal Circle appeared behind the spear, and it too coursed with lightning. "ARTHUR. JUMP!" she roared, giving him two seconds before throwing her spear like a railgun at the Basilisk's head. If all this did not slay the beast, then she had no idea what would.
  13. Well. That's what I get for looking too deeply into the riddle and thinking the wording was a trap.
  14. Eclaire - Trials of Isopolis: Inahentaitrap Eclaire didn't have time to flare her wings out as she fell, landing hard. Yelping, she yowled in slight pain...but of course the serpent coiled around her. Growling, the serpent would have learned how poorly it chose it's victim, as Kusanagi appeared, cutting it's head off. struggling out and flaring her wings, she flapped to take flight. She couldn't get a good angle on the one around Arthur's neck - she didn't want to decapitate him...and she had no small blades. In Paradisum could count as a halberd, meaning it wasn't as precise as needed. She'd need a clear shot. "I-I can't aim at it! Get the head away from you!" telekinetically holding the katana away from her, she searched for others. She needed light..and she was not wanting to use her magic, not yet. She didn't know what traps could be triggered should she use magic...and she wasn't about to risk finding out.
  15. Eclaire - Isopolis Eclaire slumped. "I know you didn't. Still..." She stood and followed. "I made a promise...d-don't make it hard for me to keep, alright?" she asked softly. Having mostly ignored Bherna's threats, not really threatened by her at the moment, she stuck close to Jynn, the sword on her back seeming to weigh heavier. Was it because she was so close to Jynn? To Nergal? She didn't know. All she did know...was screw riddles. Frowning, she looked at the riddle quietly. Melchior, Gaspar, Balthasar... Answer:
  16. Eclaire's Mind: I'LL GROUND JYNN. Wait. I'm not his mother. Crap. Uh. Uh. Crap, do I count as a sister? Guardian? Warden? Dammit, can I even ground the prince? SHIVA HOW DO I KEEP MY PROMISE TO WATCH OVER HIM IF HE'S MY BOSS. Mind flailing. Gives empty threats.. At least she gives warm hugs.
  17. -Eclaire: Outside Isopolis- Eclaire was quiet. So much was happening that she barely could think. Yevgeni and that "messenger" going after the Source of All Life, Raiden's party already here...and now, the truth - Nergal, the Queenslayer? The journey with Elia, Henry, and Aqua had been...tense. She barely knew them all, staying aloft in the air so she may enjoy the whistling of the wind. But now...on the ground, looking at the group that Henry had walked up to...she squinted. "Wait..." Some may call her a woman, but truly she was a girl. One whose confidence after naming her sword, now shaken...for now. Because, as her brain finally settled and clicked, her eyes widened...her tail went bushy....and her angelic wings flared out, throwing her at Jynn in a flying tackle. Arms wrapping around him, she knocked him over, half yelling and half sobbing at him. "You nitwit, you idiot, I was so worried about you! I made a promise you, you stubborn prince, I made a promise and I had no idea if I had broken it! Don't you dare be away without telling me again!" she sobbed and yelled at him, not really caring how really anyone thought of her. "I g-gave her my word Jynn. D-don't you dare disappear like that again or so help me gods above, I'll...I'll.....I'll think of something ok." Rolling off and W-sitting, she covered her face. Taking deep breaths, she settled down. "...Jynn...I made a promise....a promise to Shiva. I told your mother I would watch after you...so for the love of the gods don't run off like that again." Her tail calming down, the amalgamation of light, dark, and cat hung her head. "I find you...find the man who killed Shiva....and the man who might have even orchestrated it...here...from a war to this...wh...what even is going on anymore?" She asked softly. "Why has fate drawn us all here...?"
  18. Works great. Yev and the "messenger" conspiring about such a thing would send Eclaire in flight...especially after the destruction of the world below. Thanks, I just wanted an idea of what happened before I posted.
