When he saw violence ensuing, Jasper was able to summon blighter, but nothing else. Instead, he just stood there, frozen from shock that his judgement could possibly be so awful. Vay betraying didn't surprise him, he was too crazy not to seem suspicious. The same went with Varion, he seemed too nice and perfect not to be hiding something. But Kinzuko was different. On a mission this dangerous, trust was important if you wanted to survive. But he also knew that his fellow colleagues could very well have ulterior motives, so he decided he'd only risk trusting one person, and that person had been Kinzuko. She seemed so kind, so sincere, so tragic. Being apparently able to keep a chipper look on life, even with the curse she'd been dealt, was something Jasper respected and admired. And as sickening as the thought was, he'd even begun to grow feelings for her. All these years, Jasper had despised those who lied and deceived for power, and yet Kinzuko had been able to do just that right under his nose, and he was none the wiser! "This can't... how can this be happening?" Jasper stammered, but as he did, his expression began to harden from one of confusion and sadness to something much more serious... and perhaps a little terrifying. Amber, however, was much quicker to act than Jasper. Sure, she was surprised that the three people to inherit Adriev's incredible powers were such murderous traitors, but Amber had plenty of experience with people being more devious than they seemed, and knew she needed to thin their numbers. And since they were all significantly more powerful than she was at the moment, she decided to try stopping one of them with words instead, and faced Vay, "Drale, if you're still in there, I beg of you, don't do this! You didn't want this to happen, I know you didn't! Please Drale, this isn't what Shandrew would have wanted, for you to kill off the rest of his teammates!"

"Goodbye." Jasper said flatly, summoned Silver Serpent, and threw the bladed whip spiraling towards Adriev. The time for dramatics was over. It was time to kill this psychopath. Meanwhile, Amber dropped the the floor, hardly able to take in what just happened. She, a cowardly young woman who'd known nothing but sorrow and pain for most of her life, had just helped to save the world, and everyone on it. She didn't know what would happen next, but what she did know is that she never again had a reason to think that she was worthless. She eventually got back on her feet, and took in her surroundings, and noticed that the other climbers were still taking on Adriev. Except this time it looked like the head Kamyn was losing.

Speaking of DLC, does anyone else hope that Shovel Knight gets in as a downloadable character later on like Mewtwo? I know it's almoast certainly not going to happen, but it would be pretty cool if it did.

(Sorry for not posting here for a while! I'll try to be more attentive to this RP in the future.) Braxen Braxen sighed and walked away from Syfe, "If being in means being your mindless mercenary, than no, I'm through walking that path." he said, feeling that this had been a complete waste of time. Of course, just because he didn't join these people didn't mean he couldn't find a way to make a difference somehow. Stan "I'd be happy to go with Cron and Hotaru." Stan said, and then turned to Cron, "I understand that you think you want to do this alone, but Alexi's right. One's the most vulnerable number. With you, Hotaru, and I working together, we'll have a much better chance at taking down this Lacuna lady. So, when would you like to start?" Clara "Thank you Lunaris." Clara said politely, when she heard someone else come through the door, "Casumi! It's good to see that you're back. How are you feeling?" she asked, glad to see that her college was back on the team. Saving her life was probably the most chalenging thing she ever successfully done, but it was nice to see Casumi looking fit as a fiddle again.

"If you think you can do this, go ahead and take my nanomachienes." Jasper said. He didn't like the thought of losing his powers, even for a short time, but from the sound of it, it needed to be done. Jasper took a deep breath, and lent his powers to Sandrew, hoping that this plan of his would work. Meanwhile in the engine room, Amber's vision began to fade in and out, as the energy she was using began to reach dangerous levels. "Evera?" Amber asked, panic beginning to spread, "Is it working? I can't hold out much longer."

Jasper was about to strike at Adriev with Blighter again, but then he saw Sandrew fly into a wall before nearly blacking out. [Man that guy just can't take a beating.] Jasper thought. Fortunetly for Sandrew, though, Jasper did respect that he always seemed to keep going, despite constantly losing energy. "Hang on kid, I've got you." Jasper told Sandrew, summoned Recompense, and used it's power to heal Sandrew. "Got it." Amber said to Evra, sweat beginning to trickle down her brow. Channling her nanobots into the machine was making Amber feel light headed, but she knew she needed to keep going. After all, the fate of her entire planet seemed to depend on her right now, and she refused to let so many people die because she was weak.

"Okay, I'll do my best." Amber said, nearly drowning in her own nerves. She took a deep breath, put her hands on the console, and focused all of her nanomachienes on shutting down the laser, desperately hoping that she would be successful. Meanwhile, Jasper's strike was easily parried by Adriev, and the tattooed young man was sent flying backwards, before tumbling to the ground. When he looked up at the Kamyn, he noticed that Sanya was being powered up by Evra. "Sanya! Try getting rid of his armor. I doubt he'd be wearing unless it helps protect him." Jasper said, got to his feet, and waiting for an opening to attack.

Jasper took a deep breath, and all of the healing magic he could into Dr. Warthrop, who seemed the most badly wounded person in the group at the moment. The strength Jasper's staff, Recompense, was equivalent to how much that Jasper cared about or respected the person he was using it on. Fortunately for the Doctor, Jasper had heard much about his research, and between that and his willingness to risk his life on Evarius, Jasper had quite a bit of respect for the man. Thus, Recompense was able to greatly decrees the Doctors pain, as well as cut off at least a week or two of his recovery time. Afterwards, Jasper summoned Blighter, and slashed across Adriev's back with his longsword. Meanwhile, when Amber heard the countdown had begun, she stopped engaging the lead Kamyn, and ran as fast as she could to the bridge. When she got there, she saw...

Braxen [Not another one of these kinds of missions.] Braxen thought, annoyed that the first thing Syfe asked him to do was murder someone he knew nothing about. "Why?" he asked gruffly. If he wanted to mindlessly kill people just because someone told him to, he would've kept working with the light. He mentally prepared himself to counter a strike from Syfe, in case he didn't like his response, which felt possible. Clara Clara thought about Lunaris's and Alph's offer. She had been feeling pretty tense lately, and it seemed that evoryone who needed treatment had been taken care of... "Sure, I guess one drink wouldn't hurt, but no more than that." Clara said, and followed her fellow Decolor members to the bar. Stan "Thank you sir." Stan said to Alexi, and waited to be dismissed before confronting Cron. Oddly enough, he never did. Stan scilintly listened to Alexi and Cron's conversation, a little uncomfortable. He didn't like the sound of Cron making sure all of the other "special project" members were dead. "Do you have anything for me, sir?" Stan asked, silently hoping to be assigned to accompany Cron on her hunting mission. He wanted to make sure the lengths she went to defeat Lacuna didn't become too... extreme, harming others in the crossfire.

"Adriev, I've met plenty of despicable people before, but you have to be the worst." Amber said coldly, summoned her dark form, and charged at the head Kamyn, attacking with a flurry of punches. Meanwhile, Jasper quickly assessed the situation, and decided to take the role of support for now. This Kamyn would be quite the foe, and without proper healing and strengthening, they would almost surely be doomed. So instead of attempting to slice the Kamyn to bits like he wanted to, Jasper summoned his staff Recompense, and waited for someone to need healing.

Actually, I've already made a picture of Liath. It's on page 7, post number 135. You weren't too far off, though.

How did you all share your character images onto this forum? I tried copying and pasting my character after I was done with him, but id didn't work.

If you guys go through with this, can Pewter be a member? I can change his name to Liath, which is old Irish for gray.

Wait, so there are four people with S-names? That might make things difficult.

I'd personally prefer to start on the first day, but am fine with either option.

Name- Liath Smith Age- 16 Gender- Male Appearance- Tall with short brown hair, blue eyes, light skin, and a long, thin nose. Wears a grey trench coat with a white button up shirt and black bow tie. Also wears thin, wire-frame glasses, a grey flat cap, grey pants, and black shoes. Human or Faunus?- Human If Faunus, what kind of Faunus and what part of you is a Faunus?- Weapon (SAME AS APPEARANCE RULES)- A large silver halberd that morphs into a sniper rifle named Inquisitor. This sounds fun! I'll probably make a character sheet some time tonight.

I'm all for it. Although if the tournament does involve 4x4 matches, I think that the first and second place winners in each match should progress forward, but that's just me.

Amber scratched her head, not sure how some of these people could become so angsty and violent so quickly, especially since they were supposed to represent some of the best magicians humanity had to offer. Amber was trying to figure out how deal with the situation nonviolently, when she felt her powers seemingly shut down, and the mysterious AI appeared. She waited a moment for some of the others to ask their questions before replying to the AI, "Hi there, my name is Amber. The people who live in this ship, who call themselves the Kamyn, have been using their incredible power to torment and control our people for a very long time. All we want to do is stop them so they can't hurt us anymore. Could you please help us? We'd be incredibly grateful." Amber said, hoping that asking politely would get them somewhere. Meanwhile, Jasper decided to let his companions deal with the AI for now, and observe how they react. After all, if things got intense, he wanted to know who to depend on. He then noticed that beneath her cheery demeanor, Kinzuko seemed rather upset, so he went over to talk to her, "Hey, you all right?" he asked quietly, genuine concern in his voice, "You seem a little off." Jasper hoped Kinzuko wasn't about to turn on them for the sake of the group, but although he couldn't pinpoint why, Jasper was concerned for her personal safety as well. After all, she was the only climber who seemed like a genuinely nice person that he'd met so far.

As Amber gazed at the metal statue now encasing Griver, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Sure, he'd done some pretty awful things, but didn't mean he couldn't redeem herself, at least in her eyes. She then heard Drale tell everyone that he wanted someone to kill him, and her heart nearly stopped, "Drale, don't do it." she said, not wanting to lose any of her teammates, especially to suicide, "I get that you want to die, I've felt that way before more than once... and even came close to doing it at one point. But then I realized that no matter how bleak things get, no many people seem to hate you, life is still precious. You never know what's going to happen, even when death seems immanent. I promise Drale, life's worth living, if only to see if it gets better." Jasper, however, had a different take on the subject. He summoned his sword, and pointed it at Drale, "Look, what you're proposing is stupid and selfish, especially considering we may need you if Adriev shows up, but if you really want to die, fine by me." Jasper said, but then pointed the sword away from Drale, and put it in the man's hand, "Just don't expect any of us to dirty our hands for you. If you want to end your life, you'd better do it yourself." he then waited to see what would happen.
