Oh right. Suarez bit Ivanovic in the upper arm a few days ago during a game I believe. Why would you even do that? He should focus more on the game than biting other players' upper arm...

What the- ? I'm actually really confused why the other 2/3 did the assignment. I mean, it only says that 1/3 refused to do it, if I understood correctly. I'm really shocked. I'm just speechless. Being german we did learn all of that what happened but we didn't do any strange and offensive assignments like that. Unfortunately there are still some people who think that that what happened back then was really great, they called Neo-Nazis here. And the government here is trying to figure out how to stop them for good. Why would you give that kind of assignment? Seriously!

What are the games of your childhood?
griann replied to Buttercup Camera's topic in General Discussion
The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, and some other small games like Sim Park, Sim City, Yay for destroying stuff! Midtown Madness, The Settlers, a game about a boy called Ronnie in a strawberry country, Need for Speed, Pettersson and Findus, Captain Bluebear, and games based on a german television show for children teaching them something useful called Löwenzahn. I might've forgotten something, though. My sisters and I got our first console a couple of years later when I was in middle school. And I got to play some final fantasy and Kingdom Hearts! I missed out on a lot of great games unfortunately. My parents wanted to prevent us from becoming real gamers, only playing video games and they didn't want us to turn out like that. Well, I didn't really work since only one of my sisters doesn't really play a lot of video games. My other sister and I both play a lot. -

Went on a exchange to Canada for 5 month, best 5 months of my life, no kidding. -

All of my friends are not in love either, so I don't really have that feeling. But even if I were in that situation of being the only one not in love, I actually couldn't care less because I'm not interested in a relationship at the moment anyway. I'm satisfied with fangirling. ^_^

Link for The Legend of Zelda and for everything else either alex, or griann.

If you were any KH character, who would you be?
griann replied to Lalala=D's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Don't forget the throwing buildings at your enemies for Xemnas. I always thought it was pretty cool. -
Hot dog condom? Now, that's an interesting parody!
-
Cats! Some incidents involving dogs happened a lot to either me or someone else and I was there at the time, I don't hate them but I'm rather cautious around them.

Or just simply anything that one has watched/read or whatever recently and the brain decides to use that to keep one awake. :x

OH! It's that song! I remember looking for a different song and I found that one. I immediately fell in love with it. Especially the beginning.

That's awesome! Good luck!

Are you studying any foreign language at the moment?
griann replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
I've been studying Japanese for 6 years, some Latin for 6 years as well, I also started studying French but then stopped, and since I'm german and english is not my mothertongue I also studied that, for about 8-10 years. A friend of mine uses random words of other languages to greet other people, I used to know how to introduce myself in finnish I wouldn't call it studying, though. The only language i'm somewhat fluent apart from german is english. -
Good thing I'm writing my finals and only got to school to write them, so no stupid meaningless homework for me!

I was always wondering how he'd sound like when not being goofy.

Sorry to hear that! I think you are a really kind and really nice person! Then again, if I take a look at people from my school... most people don't really like to hear people say intelligent stuff. Especially if they're immature and stupid. I wouldn't call myself a smart person but I love to listen to intelligent stuff! I admire you for being so smart and especially maths! Also thank you for "I understand what I am learning, I`m not just reciting it like a parrot." there are so many people in my grade who are not really able to explain something in their own words... i'm not the best in Maths but I know this feeling, in my maths class many are asking basic stuff and I really have to stop myself to tell them to stop being so dumb... Sorry that you have such teacher. I never really had a great maths teacher. Whenever we had a problem they could only tell us what the solution was but not explain it to us or realise that the solution was in fact wrong. You know, i'm done with school in a few month after I passed my final exams and I'm so glad because I had a similiar problem. Sure, I had close friends but their interests were way far apart from mine which led me to acting differently at school so that they wouldn't look at me strangely. However, I think it's actually really great that you are venting and that you are not keeping it to yourself, I do that myself everytime I see my sister who doesn't live at home anymore but she's one of the few people that truly understand me. And there are so many understanding and nice people here, so I think it's really great to vent here. I hope your problems will disappear completly or at least get better, and there are plenty of people who went through that themselves, so keep venting and hopefully it will help you and your situation will get better!

Do you have a good relation with the people that live with you?
griann replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
Not really... At the moment only my mom, my oldest sister and me live together. My dad lives in Bonn due to a new job, my mum stayed, so that I can graduate - apparently I can not do that while living together with my sister. And my other sister lives in Hamburg, she's the only one I get along with very well. She comes to visit sometimes that's probably the happiest I can get at home. I'm really looking forward to moving out sometime after summer hopefully. -
I just tried to imagine that other person's face when reading the comment! Especially if that person doesn't get what you mean. You are awesome!

I get your point. However, I remember that there was a different reason for the concert. If I recall correctly it wasn't in order to stop Vegnagun but to unite the people. After all it's not supposed to be a bad copy of a magical girl anime. They needed the help of the different leaders and also the help of the people. I know that it wouldn't work irl but it's a video game for goddness' sake! Of course there are things that don't really make sense but in every franchise I know there is something if not A LOT that does not make sense. I actually really like that game, a pity that you don't like it but everyone have their opinions.
