My sister loves Kingdom Hearts as much as I do, but she uses tumblr more I believe.

Though there's a plum tree in our garden that belongs to me, I can't stand plums. And you can get a lot of plums from that tree, though only every 2 years. I absolutely can't stand the smell of plumpie while it's baking, I get really nauseous from that smell. I also don't like fruit pies in general. I prefer fruits raw, not in pie or tarts cake, especially when there's that weird jelly between the pieces of fruit. Ew.

I'm mostly a shounen type, so I tend to watch that, if I'm not working my ridicilously long list of animes I wanna watch. So I don't know whether you will actually like what I suggest, especially since you watch more shorter ones than I do.... For the shorter ones: as already mentioned by others, mahou shoujou madoka magika, and apparantly Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru is similiar, I'm still watching it, though I rather enjoy it. Ummm, Black Butler? I'm not a huge fan, it shows a lot of blood, I don't know if that's reason enough to watch it. You could give Cowboy Bebop a shot it's also not really long. That's about it for the short ones that are on my list. I have a few longer ones that I like too: Inuyasha, if you don't mind a love triangle that might get annoying from time to time Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! If you don't mind an anime with a slow start, the first 20-25 episodes are more comedy than what it's supposed to be, the action kicks off after the long start. It's kinda long (203) I don't know if you're into Cardgame animes, if you are, you can checkout Cardfight!! Vanguard, Selector Infected WIXOSS, apart from Yu-Gi.Oh! Have fun watching

What is your favorite song from The Nightmare Before Christmas?
griann replied to Toominator's topic in Poll of the Week
It was hard, but in the end it is This is Halloween for me. Mostly because I watched Nightmare before Christmas, only a few years ago. And I have been playing Kingdom Hearts longer, so This is Halloween is the song I heard the most, reminds me of KH and I have also heard it in so many variations, and with each variation I heard, my love for that song grew. So Yeah, This is Halloween for me. ( Although I'm absolutely not a Halloween person haha  ) -
^ agreed Honestly, that always happens with a female character when she has more boobies than the rest of the females in the respective series. I don't get the weird obsession, especially if they make her boobs really huge (stumbled upon that too once, ugh) and if they just focus on her boobies. I personally never understood how some go nuts when they see boobs. I mean, sure they are aesthetically pleasing but in the end they are sacks of fat for feeding babies. I too find them aesthetically pleasing, but I wouldn't go crazy about them. But I guess that's something I'm never ever gonna understand, which, I think, is probably for the best.

coolest weapon is a little bit harder for me because there are so many weapons I think look really cool, though I really like the scythe type most creative is definitely Ruby weapon, since she can use it as scythe and also other type of weapons and I really really love how it kinda changes

Anime | Manga "Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale"
griann replied to Firaga's topic in General Discussion
It looks pretty cool ^^ Though I somehow totally missed the last movie...... -
oooh! That's the demonstration they showed quite a while ago to show what the console is capable of in terms of graphics right? Though I have to agree, give it more years. I mean it came out 9 years ago, so I hope they wait a few more years and don't do it now....

I agree, I mostly like it as a platonic ship, maybe as a romantic one if I see really adorable fanart of them, kinda depending on the day for me. But generally mor eof a platonic ship for me, a really strong platonic relationship. Though I always kinda thought Aqua and Terra kinda adopted Ventus, but again, more a platonic "parents".

Wheee! My currently favourite classic FF game! I really love it. Especially after playing the first 4, well completing 1 and 3 and abandoning 2 and 4 for different reasons... But I really like 5. You get a job system, which I absolutely love, I spent hours grinding for abilities and I didn't get bored, well then again I really like level grinding and don't mind spending hours on that... It's also the first Final fantasy game chronologically speaking where you actually really need a walkthrough I think? Since you would miss a lot without one, well, and you can get the quick n dirty tips, too. I'm not finished yet (currently gathering the tablets for the legendary weapons, on my way to the second one) but I'm really enjoying myself. Though I agree, the characters are not really something to talk about, though to be honest, I felt the same way about the characters from the 4 previous games, but perhaps that's just me. I also like the puns they put in (I'm plying the gba version) , I like it when a game/show whatever else isn't taking itself too seriously. And it's not such a straight-line of a plot, especially compared to the very first game, so i really enjoy seeing the slow progression. The game is also slowly starting to get longer. Yeah, that's my two cents to FF V (so far!). In the end what made me want to keep playing it was the job system...... and the puns. I'm just a sucker for job system and puns. Then I'll go continue playing, so I can move onto 6 soon.

Glad I'm not the only one who says some of those things. Seriously though, I really liked the gummi ship section in KH 1, I was way better at the one in KH1 than the one in KH 2. I also quite liked Atlantica in KH 2, because, again, I was good at the musicals and I enjoyed them. And of course I wanted to be able to play KH3 like yesterday, I'd rather wait for the game to be finished than have a completly bugged game because they were hurrying and wanted to push the game out. And I also don't think the story is that hard to understand, if you played the games you can, and watch the cutscenes for those that can't. It worked for me, especially if you do it now, where we have an actual timeline. But I really like that guy, that other video he made I watched was hilarious, too. (I Think it was stuff people say who haven't played Kingdom Hearts or something like that?) I find myself reacting and sometimes saying stuff the same way. Anyway great video

I was thinking "what?" for a second, but then I saw it's in the random section, so I don't really take it seriously. Though you're right, anime certainly has a truckload of issues, but there are also hopespots

Favourite Manga and Anime: Detective Conan, Inuyasha, Katekyou Hitman Reborn, Bakegyamon (though I'd like to smack some of the characters in the head a lot), Chrono Crusade, Fullmetal Alchemist, FMA Brotherhood, Soul Eater, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, MMPPP Pure (absolutely stupid name, but great if you just want to watch something absolutely ridicilous) and Kaleido Star Favourite Manga: Pokemon Special Adventures, Zodiac P.I.

I love gravity falls :] I can't wait for the new episode on Monday and I'm really interested what's going to happen, especially since they have a whole countdown dedicated to the new episode.

I don't know why they have to be in that theme, unless of course your mother asked you to recommend her something that deals with that specific topic, but most things I watch don't really focus on human rights, it might be mentioned at one point or another, but other than that nope.

I don't even know what to say, I'm really sorry for his family I was just checking the main page for possible news on KH3 and saw this thread in the recent topics, I hoped it was a joke that was posted in the wrong category, but unfortunately it's not. Wow. I was just going to check up on Roosterteeth, whether they have some news on RWBY. I'm really sad. I found his works more by accident, but I really liked Dead Fantasy and hoped that he would continue that one day, the music videos featuring the dead fantasy characters actually got me into Kpop, and then I discovered RWBY and really liked it. Thank you for your hard work Monty Oum. You really did an outstanding job and you were an inspiration to so many. I'm really sad that your time is up, may you rest in peace, you certainly deserve it. Even though you were way too young, but you used your life to accomplish so many things. Thank you. If I weren't so emotionally closed off I'd cry.

What are your thoughts on Nudity?
griann replied to kingdomlanelover's topic in Random & Forum Games
Are we talking about walking around naked outside everywhere, or just outside in special nude sections? I find it hard to believe that it's fine to walk around naked in Asia. I mean sure, here in germany it's not a grave crime, more something like administrative offense. If you run around naked outside, it'd be harassment of the general public. You're either kicked out of the place where you were caught or you'd have to pay between 5 and 1000€. If you aren't just walking around naked but also engage in sexual intercourse, or similiar activities, it's an offence, minor crime. Agitation of public nuisance, you either have to pay, or imprisonment up to a year. As far as I know the only places where you can go naked outside are special beaches that are labeled as such, but you are only allowed to be naked in that area, you have to leave the beach with your clothes on. The only countries I know, that are easy-going in that aspect are the scandinavian countries, but other than that not so much. Of course the US is quite the extreme opposite. I'm not so comfortable about my body, so I prefer to be naked inside, but I'm rarely naked, apart from when I have to for changing, showering etc. -
The reason I don't trust the Zelda fanbase or take them seriously
griann replied to Dio Brando's topic in General Discussion
As already stated by others, that's something that happens in quite a lot of other fandoms, especially if they're popular. And not only games either. I've always been quite isolated from the whole zelda fandom til a few years ago, I loved playing the games I could and didn't know anyone who liked/played it as well. So I've actually never really heard that much about bashing games. Of course I knew there were people who disliked wind waker, or other games, but I don't really communicate that much with people who play zelda, too, so I was able to ignore it. I had it in other fandoms though. I tend to ignore it. Maybe I'm just really easy to please, but I'm not someone who goes around bashing stuff, or saying how much I hate someone/something in general. It's kinda funny to see other people turn a 180, when that happens I'm always like, what just happened? But yeah, just stick with your games and ignore other people -
I feel ya. And to answer your question: No, I do not believe that all human beings will ever be able to express opinions/have discussions without offending others. I do believe however, that there are plenty of people who can and those people pass it on to the next generation, how to respectfully discuss something. I just don't think that every human being will do that, simply because we're humans. Being humans, we have emotions and other stuff that will make us offend others. Plus, some people are not taught, how to properly argue and end up offending on accident, though that's something that can happen really quick. Some people are more sensitive than others and if you don't know the person well enough, you might end up offending that person without realizing. So, I don't think that it will ever be completly peaceful, I couldn't care less about any fandom wars as long as they stay as fandom wars in words and don't turn into an actual war. Humans are diverse and some will get along with others, while others won't. Always been that way and I highly doubt there's something that can be done about that other than ignoring it.

I played Kingdom Hearts 1 at my friend's place. We wanted to go somewhere together and her parents were driving us, so I came to her place. Her brother was playing KH when I came in. I got curious because it kinda reminded me of final fantasy and asked the name of the game. We had to wait a little bit so I got to play a bit and I loved it. When I came home I asked my mother to get it for my sisters and me. The funny thing is, just like we got FF X-2 before FFX, we also get Kingdom hearts 2 first. I managed to infect one of my sisters with kingdom hearts too and both of us have been KH fans ever since. I tried to get my friend into final fantasy, but she didn't like that the gameplay wasn't as free moving as in Kingdom Hearts. The thing is, though KH 1 was the one that got me in the series, I couldn't play it, because it was unavailable at that moment, so I played KH 2 first and when we got the first one I went back to starting from the very start. I remember my sister playing KH 2 and then being like, 'but I don't want to change to Sora, I want to keep play as Roxas!'. So both games were kinda the first games I played of the series, but KH 1 got me into this wonderful mess journey.

You actually managed to draw your own blood? Wow, I'd never be able to do that. I can't stand the sight of excessive amounts of blood, but just thinking about blood makes my wrist feel really weird. I am also someone who can't even take-off a band aid really quickly, like people usually do, I'd always take them veeery slooowly. I don't know why someone would ask you to do that, I mean why? You got my respect for being able to do that. I'd refused and probably left the room. But that sure sounds like that's a huge issue for you. I do hope you have someone you can talk to about this. Tackling something like this alone can be very hard. As someone who is suffering from a lot severe issues myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can tell about your fears to support you when you need it. I know it's none of my business but I can't help but worry when I see people struggling. So anyway, you're awesome and good luck getting better, because I know you will

Mostly Zelda Majora's Mask. I think I saw a line-up from nintendo a few days ago, I'm not entirely sure where but I do remember that it said Phoenix Wright trilogy, if it's really coming out next year I'm gonna get that too.

Why Do People Think They Can Only Use One Company's Systems?
griann replied to Shulk's topic in General Discussion
I just follow the games that I like and I couldn't care less if someone else prefers a different company. The only reason why I'm not a xbox player is because I mostly play rpgs, and as far as I know there are few rpgs for the xbox, or if there are, they are also available for the Playstation, so I'm usually taking the ps version since I already have one, only a ps2 though. I don't really have that much money to spend mindlessly on consoles, so I haven't bought a console game in a long time, I'm more focused on handheld. But, yeah. As long as you don't try to shove your opinion down my throat, I'll be nice. I enjoy discussing, but that can only work if you can acknowledge both the up and the downs. If you annoy me too much, I might lash out at you, but other than that I wouldn't bash someone's favourite console, unless I'm really, really provoked.
