I definitely enjoy the first one more. Aside from some technical polishing I think KH2 was rather poorly done.

When Ansem the Wise said it's been about a year since he met Sora he's referring to the first time he saw him in CoM. A year didn't pass between KH2 and 3D, It's probably been a few weeks at most.

If they bother to show him, or Selphy or Wakka for that matter, ever again they would have to show them all as older. It's be really awkward if all this time passed and they still looked exactly the same as in KH1, minus Selphy. So yeah, he'd look a lot closer to his FFX self. Only more "cartoony" since the style for KH is slightly more simple than for FF.

Rule of thumb: ANY color works with black and white. It's more a matter of matching a vest with your tie if you chose the red one. if you go for the black tie you can wear what ever color vest you want, but if you're going with the red one you can another red vest to match but whit also complements both red and black. Black with red and white is a very stylish color combination. A nice warm orange can also complement red very well. You might want to avoid purple at all costs though, unless it's a very light purple and the red tie is very dark or purplish it self, like a burgundy or maroon, or they'll clash. Grey can work too, maybe a pinstripe one.

The "Find Kairi's Red Ribbon" is probably the single best mini game in KH ever.

Considering what we've been given I wouldn't call her "useless" because she's a wonderful plot device, just not much of a "character". I'm reluctant to call a character wholly "useless" when they only have about fifteen minutes of screen time in the entire series and Kairi's usually brought in only when they REALLY need her. Other wise she disappears off to the background somewhere only to be occasionally mentioned and waiting for the plot to need something convenient to happen to bring her in again. Though I do agree that after KH1 she became forced, especially in KH2 because it felt like the plot just had her running around because she was an established main character so they HAD to include her. Though the sad thing is that she really didn't have to feel so forced. Conceptually Kairi's a very interesting character but they don't take any of the ideas behind her anywhere or where they need to go or bother properly developing her and sadly, as Dracozombie mentioned, there's not much room for a none combatant character in a series like this so she got pushed to the way side instead of being explored. Which really makes her inclusion in KH2 disappointing because there really was a lot they could have done with her and unlike KH1 where she was unconscious we had the opportunity to see how she handles things and get more insight on her character. Some how though she turned out worse in KH2 than in 1 being reduced to a Sora fan girl who was defined by her relationship with him. But while I consider Kairi over all a disappointment as a character I can't call her useless because when she's included directly into the story she usually does what she's supposed to do, no more no less, then disappears into the background or kept in a closet somewhere and taken once every few months to air out then put back.

Well Sora's is a crown because...he's Jesus. So he's like king of...everyone I guess. While Roxas isn't wearing a necklace, as mentioned above it's a fancy zipper pull that's shaped like a shuriken because...ninjas. Roxas is represented by Samurai Nobodies and Samurais are Japanese while Ninjas are Japanese/Asian so clearly...Roxas is shares the best of both worlds. Or they mean nothing and Nomura just wanted them to look dapper as shit.

The castles in KH1 and 2 are the same, the other castle, Villain's Vale, didn't appear until KH2. Ansem's castle just looks different because it's under renovations.

Hhmmm, I'm not sure if they would need to share MX's Keyblade. Roxas had to share Sora's Keyblade because at the time Roxas didn't have his own heart nor had a Keyblade chosen him. Even with their strong connections to MX most of them should still have their own hearts so it's a matter of Keyblades choosing them imo. It's a bit tough to give an example but seeing as he's the closest thing I got, Vanitas has been all but out right stated to be 'Norted. If we want to take the golden eyes as viable enough evidence that he's a 'Nort, he can use his own Keyblade just fine. If he's not well then... (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Well that's pretty simple, the castle and town went under renovations. Twice. All of RG and the castle were wrecked after the Heartless invasion and after Maleficent decided to call it home and rename in Hollow Bastion she made the castle her center piece and redesigned it. During KH2 the entire town and castle where being renovated for at least the second time to try and restore it to its former glory and everyone one is trying there best to reclaim their lives. Granted, not everything is going to be in the exact same spot as before. Castle Town for instance was moved completely because I recall in the world concept art, the area where Castle Town used to be during BbS was covered in rubble or something so they rebuilt the town else where seeing as people needed a place to live. Same with the castle, there's just stuff still being fixed and probably something that have to be torn down and redone all together so they relocate areas.

Maybe, since being a wielder is a requirement but I don't think you strictly need to be actually wielding one. Some of the darknesses I can imagine not caring one way or another, like Xemnas, but Xigar/Braig is definitely going to want to show his off. But the thing about all of them looking exactly like MX is silly (even by KH standards). If after ten years Xigbar/Braig still looks like Xigbar/Braig he'll still be recognizable when everyone clashes and so will everyone else.

A game like Days or BbS, probably, where we'll play as other characters but over all Sora will always be the protagonist of the series as a whole. Though I rather they just end the it with he next saga than continually stretch the series by having other protagonist take Sora's place, like have his apprentice or something be the next protagonist. I think that's why Nomura wants Sora to stay the protagonist until the end, KH can theoretically go on forever because there will always be Keyblades, Keyblade wielders, and darkness to conquer, doesn't mean he has to explore all those possibilities. Oh I know that, I don't think Sora needs to be replaced in the next saga.

Well KH will come to an end eventually, it won't go on for virtually an infinity like Final Fantasy can. Sora will stop being the protagonist when the series comes to an end.

I don't think he should return but he should be addressed. He's still trapped in Terra's heart so he's still serving an important roll as he's helping Terra not get completely over taken by MX but afterwards they're going to half to do something with him. TAV need to have their proper good byes with him.

Hmmm, well, it depends what one means by "died" as death is ruled by Nomura logic here. You die when your soul leaves your body and Ven had literally beat Vanitas's body to near death and then when they fused and Vanitas's body disappeared, his heart entered Ven in the same vein that ME's entered Terra. By KH definition Vanitas "died" when he fussed with Ven. There are a couple common theories in regards to Vanitas's existence. 1)The remains of Vanitas's heart is hiding out in Ven's heart still, slowly getting stronger along with Ven as Sora's heart is nurturing both. 2)When he was defeated he lost a chunk of his heart to Ven but the rest made it out and is hiding out in someone else's heart getting stronger e.g. Xehanort. 3)The only thing that's left of him is sense of self or thoughts but he lost all of his heart to Ven. 4)He dead. Only way to see him again is if he gets brought back via time travel. Either way I don't think we've seen the last of him. He was too important to MX's plans to let go of so easily and has been all but acknowledged as being one of the Seekers of Darkness.

For all intensive purposes the Seeker of Darkness Chronicles is also the "Guardians of Light Chronicles" because of how they correlate side by side. The guardians of light are as important as they are partly because of the seekers of darkness and since the GoL are the protagonist we already focus almost completely on them.

It'll give the over achievers something to do and make the game more challenging for those how feel KH isn't hard enough.
