  1. Nothing to argue about. Just a little missunderstanding.
  2. ...but they did

  3. *facepalm* no. No remaster on gods green earth has been made from scratch.
  4. That's still not from scratch dude. It's like me taking yokos music from her disk and adding more bass and treble to it and saying I did this from scratch.
  5. So you call already made graphics, music, SFX, models, images scratch? Yeah I'm sure. ALREADY MADE = from scratch.
  6. Square said they would release DDD in the US but never did. Both 1.5 and 2.5 were live. Only this time it's being worked on by a "3rd party". It's gonna be treated the same way as 1.5. Nothin special like people are thinking.
  7. Uuuhh. Noooo. They reverse engineered the disc and used what little source they had.
  8. It's an early ps2 game what do you expect. It's a remaster not remake what do you expect. First of all hd remasters are not remakes they are REMASTERS. Second people use the original all the time. Blue point studios (the best 3rd party porters ever) do it. Its to insure theyhave everything there instead of relying on possible missing or partial missing source.Third please refer remaster as REMASTERS and not remakes. Remake is like pokemon red to pokemon fire red.
  9. It's not. 1.5 never got one. Only the Japanese preorder of 2.5 will get it.
  10. No. Nobody did. Square is just pretending they care about the fans.
  11. I dont understand why people complain about these prerenders. GoW HD Collection is the same. Uses its "original" prerenders and its horirible but nobody ever complains about them.
  12. Well dev PS3's have the option to enhance graphics (res, AA, AF, etc) for dev purposes. Maybe they were expecting to release the game with high graphics but ran into issues. anyway, images like those are usually "bullshots" every dev does it. It's nothing to get upset about like everyone is doing. It happends everytime a dev shows a new game.
  13. Oh okay. And yes!! I'mNot the only one that noticed their swings were slow. It becuase they had not attack combos. The battle system relied on dumb decks.
  14. What do you mean TAV? What does that mean?
  15. GBA CoM was made by the TOKYO TEAM which has normal colors. OSAKA just remade it for the PS2. Plus there was no FM reCoM. They only get recolored if there was a FM.
  16. Story is great but the game-play is botched.
  17. Yes that is him. There is one for tidus and that one mid 30s lookin lady at traverse town. They are all re-textures. You see them at the end of agrahba if you do somthing different I can't remember. I think they get captured or something.
  18. I don't like it. It's obvious Nomura didn't draw any of it. Looks like manga drawings. This is the first time something KH related was officially drawn by someone else. Maybe they had a artwork competition in Japan. It look like amateur work. Not Nomuras.
  19. KH2FM. Don't like the gameplay in BBS but will enjoy it on the PS3
  20. Nomura isn't very good at understanding things and explaining it back. It's like playing phone. He's not a tecnology person he's an artist. They reversed the retail disc. They programmed everything from scratch and used higher quality models from their previous games. Though some graphical effect were actual generate by the PS2 and not textures. Stuff like this: Nothing more nothing less.
  21. How could they? They would of had to remake every single video in realtime. No money, no time. Just like you said. How is more time and money lazy? Devs are given a time limit. Devs are giving a certain amount of funds. You have no understanding of games development process and the incredible complexity and difficulty associated with it. How do you know what is best for the company and devs. You don't. This isn't an indie game where you have no limits and have kickstarters. You can be in your own little world where the sky is the limit to make yourself feel better. Also there is a fine line between lazyness and bad management. Here's the reason for it. re:CoM had prerendered cutscenes that were rendered out on the computer and not the PS2. They never made in game cutscene animation for reCOM for the PS2. Every cutscene in that game was a video not real time. There is nothing wrong with prerenders in videos games. People do it all the time. The reason they did it this time I have no clue. Blame the OSAKA Team if you need someone to blame. Original Devs had nothin to do with it. So you say why not just update it. Well you can't just update it. Remaking the cutscenes for recom would take as long as making a video game. Remake as in: New animation New Programming Not only that. If you wanted to make it realtime then you would need a large programming team. You can't just make a 320p video not look blurry. So they went back to their highest quality source they had of the cutscene prerenders and used that for the PS3 collection. They converted it down from the source for the PS2/PS3 version. It's blurry becuase its a video. It also does lack AA for some reason I don't understand.
  22. A lot of people need to get there head out of the nostagia gutter, really.
  23. That's a pre-render like I said. Not an in-game model. Plus theres is not really in difference becuase those are 2 different angles and poses.
