  1. Marluxia wasn't against the organization if I recall correctly though, even if he was worthy ability wise he resisted against the cause. I don't remember much about Luxord or Larxene but it's likely a similar case with them.
  2. Suppose you're right, Square is increasingly adding randomness to their bosses, can't say I'd try a no damage battle but I personally know what it's like dealing with that kind of randomness with no long range skills. I guess it's because I'm always doing that kind of thing that the use of magic makes it hard to impress me.
  3. If you factor in no damage yeah but I killed him much easier with Sora than I did Riku (I don't know how and I would have thought I would have had it easier with Riku.) But you already made the point that what would appeal to me would be possible, just not entertaining to most. but for people who do enjoy that kind of challenge, even if it takes a while for that to watch it is entertaining.
  4. I'm a bit more impressed with this one but I'd like to see one with someone doing something like this without magic commands.
  5. Dark Roll makes it so you can avoid every attack, a specific one it helps for is the attack that drains all your HP (the shadow the stretches out from him and lifts you into the air) If you roll towards that shadow and past it it will miss. If I recall correctly Double Flight gets you out of range of it as well. For the X attack that flies towards you it's best to Dark Roll into it as you will pass through it. Anything you fail to Dark Roll out of in time Dark Barrier should be sufficient in blocking the attack.
  6. Can only change the disposition once per visiting the Spirit Menu. (Incase you get the wrong disposition and you kept trying and weren't getting another one.)
  7. Dark Firaga can be obtained with Drop Points. It sometimes shows up as an option to obtain when you drop. Cost 50 DP. That is how you're supposed to get it if you didn't get the MoM Edition.
  8. Are you sure there isn't someone you might've passed or someone around you that you don't know that may have the game? Or perhaps by any chance did you do your own portals?
  9. Keyblades are not part of getting 100% items. I have 100% items and I don't have every keyblade yet (Critical Mode, still have yet to finish story so I'm missing 2 Keyblades.) Dream Pieces are part of 100% Items so if you haven't finished all the portals you may be missing some type of Dream Piece.
  10. Critical Mode Level 1 Original Keyblades (For Bosses) Only 1 Curative Spell (Cura) (Other than Cura) no magic commands
  11. I looked at Riku's moveset in KH: CoM the other day and it seems as though Riku already knew most of his moveset in from then. They don't go by the same name but if you look at the description they're the same as moves he has in 3D. I was confused as to why Riku learned a double jump ability but it seems like it was something he had in CoM.
  12. There are plenty of ways to make it easier but it can certainly provide quite the challenge if you really want it to.
  13. Exciting: I don't know that it really sounds like exciting but Riku's character growth. Disappointing: Secret Boss battle. Can certainly make any battle a challenge but it wasn't thrilling.
  14. I'm sorry I didn't mean this for everyone, I know some people just want to play to enjoy. I meant it for the people who say it's easy like they're expecting a challenge. I honestly wish that was actually the case sometimes but depending on one's limitations knowing the boss inside and out doesn't always make it that doable. Not everyone uses the same tactics, or fights at the same level. As I've tried saying the difficulty of something rises depending on one's limitations and level and abilities is definitely a couple of those limitations. The struggles that people have with these bosses, even though I did overcome them I do feel their struggles as I did struggle too. I hope this isn't overboard and if it is I apologize but I have 3 videos of me with that fight, 2 of which are in our video section. If you don't believe that these fights are difficult watch and see the limitations I placed I myself. I'm not trying to say you are a bad player with this, I just feel like people who struggle may get upset when others try to say some things are easy and I'd like for people who say it's easy to get a sense of just what the struggle is so maybe people may see eye to eye.
  15. I'm noticing people are saying the games are easy "if" you grind "if" you're a certain level (when seems to be over the recommended level of what the world says). Does that really means the game is easy if you're stronger than what the game recommends you should be? The bosses or enemies tactics alone aren't what make them hard. One's level is a very big factor in how hard something can be. Difference between a low level and a high level is the how well you can take a hit. On a high level you don't have to focus too hard on survive. Most attacks won't kill you or won't even put you close to low health. A low level person may be put in perilous health by every attack or if not prepared enough killed by every attack. They have to fight in a much different style, they're forced to learn how the opponent fights and need to learn how to survive while still finding opportunities to deal damage. Also the difference in damage is a difference of destroying a boss or enemy or having the will to even want to fight so long, that in and of itself is a challenge. Hard to compare to difficulties of the game when each game doesn't exactly allow one put up the limits other games allow and each person doesn't really fight at the same levels. Different people will find some things harder than others and this I understand but it sounds like to me if one needs to grind then the game at one point must have been a challenge. I'm not saying anyone who needs to grind is a bad player but to me grinding means one wasn't able to handle the challenge at hand.
  16. To be more specific only the last match of the last cup.
  17. I think it serves Riku better end game but I'm not sure it really matters. I guess if you just want to make things easier I say Riku.
  18. You have access to 2 Drop-Me-Nots per battle scenario. If you fill your gauge before the boss battle you'll still have 2 available during the boss battle. Shouldn't need to go through the trouble of getting Drop-Me-Nevers. Finally beat stupid second form OTL
  19. If you're still level 1 but use the strongest keyblade and drop decelerator you might not even need a Drop-Me-Not during boss battles.
  20. I'm almost there. I have videos up in the video section of me attempting Ansem Form II at level 1 Critical Mode.
  21. This is my first attempt at recording so sorry for the angle at the beginning of the battle. Partial Battle of me with Riku's 3rd Final Boss. Second Longest Recorded Attempt
  22. I know this is a tad old but I happened to stumble upon in which checking to see if a certain topic existed. I've heard many people say this game was really easy but I really don't think the challenge comes from the difficulty. I think the challenge comes from how you build your deck. I feel like with 2 or 3 or more of any kind of cure makes it so you aren't actually learning how to survive, just making it so you're never in peril. And from what I hear about the spells like Balloon/ra/ga and Dark Firaga, you can provide a defense for yourself while doing overwhelming damage that may even stop a boss in it's tracks. I think the command deck was designed so that people that just wanted to get through the game could get through the game and people who wanted to challenge themselves could challenge themselves. I personally found this game to be rather difficult but I purposely made it that way. I decided to keep myself underleveled, in this case, level 1, I decided to have only 1 curative spell in my deck, for my case cura. I decided to stick with the original keyblades and I decided to only use physical skills which are a lot less stronger than the spells I mentioned. This makes it so I need to learn and time everything to survive against a boss and due to my absurdly low damage it becomes a test of endurance and patience as well. Granted this is on Critical Mode I feel like it could apply to the easier modes as well. My point simply is this game is only as hard as the player allows it to be and I feel like this might be something a lot of people don't notice.
  23. Just spent 30-40+ minutes on the time I finally beat him. Let's see how bad Form II will be. He hurts, he has every bar of HP but.. his attacks can be blocked I finally have my dream eaters (I never got a reality shift on form I) and he doesn't have an absurd amount of defense. I think I dislike form I more.
