  1. So, everybody should at least look at this... http://i4.minus.com/j7nf1qafyPfCh.jpg My buddy just posted this image on my Facebook wall. I have been scrounging the internet for any kind of confirmation, trying to find anything else out...nothing yet. But still...E3 is so close. I might pee. Thoughts?
  2. What's the point of putting *SPOILER* in the topic title if you're going to immediately afterwards give the spoiler in the same title? I know that the game's been out for months now, but have some courtesy for the people who haven't played it yet.
  3. I could live without Olympus Coliseum. I feel like the world's story has concluded, and I'm frankly getting bored with it. They might be able to find another world to continue the tournament aspect though. My picks for worlds are: Pocahontas (not sure if there's a lot that they can do with this one, but I want it anyway) The Black Cauldron The Jungle Book (it was nearly in a game twice, it's overdue) The Great Mouse Detective The Incredibles (Please, Nomura. Just please do this for me) Toy Story Monsters, Inc. Robin Hood The Princess and the Frog Tangled A Bug's Life I think there are only so many Pixar movies that would work as worlds (UP, for example, might not work). But the ones listed here would definitely make different and exciting additions
  4. It's already being said by everyone else, but I'll agree that is exactly what 2.5 should be. And if they want to continue their pattern with one game being a video volume, that's what re:Coded is for. I'll also agree that 3.5 seems unnecessary. The HD remixes are meant to help refresh memories, give new players a better chance to catch up, and bring things together for the finale of KHIII. Dream Drop Distance was perfect just the way it was, and it came out so recently that I doubt he'd see a reason to put it on the PS3 just yet. Perhaps down the road, but not yet. But 2.5 needs to happen.
  5. First of all, I think you should get yourself some better friends. That might sound harsh, but it sounds like the people you surround yourself with don't care about how you feel, think, or like to enjoy your time. Your friend has known you for 12 years, and she still doesn't understand certain things about you (you don't like parties, you prefer to actually enjoy a country for the country and not for the booze that it has to offer, for example)? You need to do what is right for you. On the one hand, you say you've been to Greece four times? Maybe you'd enjoy going to Spain, but avoiding the parties and rather enjoying the country itself. As the poster above me said, that's gonna be difficult because of the peer pressure, but that's also a part of life. You need to learn not to follow the crowd just because they outnumber you, and act on what you know is best for you. Besides, I guarantee you're not the only person in your class that isn't a big partier. You'll find others who you can enjoy Spain with and not have to feel forced into a situation that you're not comfortable with. Or, if you really enjoyed Greece during your previous trips, go back! Anybody who resents you for following your heart is not worth having as a companion, friend, acquaintance, whatever. Those kinds of people are just not worth your time.
  6. An admittedly interesting theory, and it would be kind of fun to have a Severus Snape "Is he good or is he evil" thing going on during Kingdom Hearts III...but I do have to agree with everyone else and say that the evidence points to him really being in league with Xehanort for the long haul. But I am all for fun theories!
  7. Plain and simple: We don't know yet. It's something we can only hope that Nomura explains during Kingdom Hearts III. Until then, it's something I recommend not losing sleep over. He's left us several mysteries to ponder.
  8. Yeah, that's true. I forgot he did use corridors of darkness still in this game, so he couldn't ditch the coat just yet.
  9. Agreed. I can kinda get why he kept it for this game, since he had more important things to worry about than how he looked, but for the next one, it's about time for him to shed the last sign of his allegiance with the Organization. C'mon now, Nomura.
  10. I don't know about anyone else, but dear God, I want to see a Lea/Isa fight scene. Like, a big "final confrontation" fight scene. I happen to be a sucker for stories involving best friends turning into worst enemies (X-Men: First Class was a godsend), so this is really something I want to see happen. It's almost like the games have been leading up to it, in a way. Birth By Sleep kicked things off, showing us two people who have probably been best friends for some years. They aren't seen a whole lot, but hey, it's enough. They've practically got a Sora/Riku friendship going on. Next time we get to see Lea, he's Axel and working for the Organization in Chain of Memories, which just gives us great looks at who Lea has become. We get to see plenty of what Isa has become in the next game. One of the reasons I enjoyed 358/2 Days so much was because of the development in so many character relationships (Saix/Xemnas, Axel/Roxas, Roxas/Xion, the list goes on), one of my favorites being that of Axel and Saix. Obviously, something has changed in both of them. Saix cares so much about their original plan of treason that he's turning into someone Axel can't stand. Hell, we see this in the ways Axel talks to Saix. There's the hint of that old playful insulting going on that they shared as kids, but there's something more stinging behind it too. Of course, this progresses and eventually Axel chooses his friendship with Roxas and Xion over that of his friendship with Saix, something that probably causes a lot of pain for Saix. The cutscene when Saix confronts Axel about it is one of my favorites in the game. By the conclusion, Axel and Saix both acknowledge that what they had is gone, and they (probably painfully) accept that they can't go back. Kingdom Hearts II picks up where that left off, with Saix essentially hating Axel. Whenever he refers to him, it's him bitterly denouncing him as a traitor. I think there's like one time when they interact, and it's Saix attempting to apprehend Axel before he gives away too much information to Sora. Who knows, maybe Saix's determination to get back his heart is a desire to get back his old best friend too. Both die before that can be figured out. Now, we get that tease towards the end of DDD. Lea returns to save the day, and there's Isa (or Saix, I guess we don't know which yet) flying in to stop him. They struggle briefly, exchange a cold stare, and then it's over. Isa speaks no words to him, since he has nothing more to say to him. I want to see their relationship reach its climax and resolution in KH3, because I've loved every moment of it so far. Whether that means a final duel between them or some kind of reparation of their old friendship remains to be seen. Either way, I bet it's great.
  11. God, he pissed me off in Kingdom Hearts II. The first fight with him, I was like "Wow dude, way to represent the evil big-time bad guy group. You suck." Second fight: "Seriously, game? I have to go out and grind just to beat Demyx and his ten-second time limit water forms? You suck." I think him and Xaldin gave me the hardest times out of the Organization.
  12. Nomura never actually said that ALL of the new Organization would be past characters. He just said that there would be familiar faces among them. My guess is that Young Xehanort did what he was told and gathered up at least a few incarnations of Xehanort from other periods in the past. There were quite a few years between Young and Master Xehanort, so we could end up seeing "Adult Xehanort" or "Mid-Life Crisis Xehanort" among them. I would hope this isn't the case for all of the remaining six hooded members, since that would frankly be kind of boring. I'm hopeful for Vanitas, and maybe Terranort (although that would be confusing, seeing as then Terra is all over the place).
