Lovin' the choice of music first of all. "those who have wronged me terribly - people who swore to love and protect me always but instead violated that very trust." ...I'd never do that to you, Lea. In regards to the topic: I think about my place in the world everyday and what I can do to change it. As it stands now, for a couple reasons I'd rather not go into (it's a long long story) there's sadly not much I can do but within the next few years when I'm in a freer place I know I can make a difference then. Until that point I like to think I'm spending my days developing myself to make that future come closer and shine brighter. As for whether humanity is genuinely good or bad. Good easily. People have been too kind around/to someone like me for me to think otherwise. I was on a train last summer on the hottest day of the year and I was returning home from college. It's a long journey and I was carrying really heavy bags yet a woman much shorter and weaker than I offered--actually insisted on helping. She took a few of the bags and literally went on a multiple train journey with me, she was willing to go all the way to my home with my bags, I had to lie and tell her my house was 2 minutes away (more like 30) so she wouldn't come all the way; she had things to do and she did more than enough already. There was another time when I was about 14 and I didn't have money for public transport and a woman ran up to me and gave me enough money to use the bus for a week. Never forgot that. I love humans! I'd like to give back to them! Yeah in the news you hear all this bad news about bad people but that's because that's what sells. Humanity is good and I would love to give back to it as much as and as soon as I can.

Inside Out was...alright.
-
medal and...*sniff*
And how would those mechanics apply to KH actually? Would be interesting to see.
-
Yeah, the comedy for the most part didn't have the sharpness of some of Pixar's other films. Riley did manage to give me good feels (I'll admit, I choked up at the climax. But it was only Riley. Joy and Sadness bugged me sometimes, and the other characters did the best they could but they otherwise couldn't accomplish much.
-
In terms of how it could apply to KH, I mainly had the memory orbs in mind. I can easily see something like that translated to KH's concept of memories, how they can shape someone's heart, and can be lost or even destroyed.

Who Introduced you to Kingdom Hearts Series?
MyDixieRect replied to Felicia Novita's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Coldplay released their song Viva La Vida, I youtubed it and saw a KH AMV with the song. After watching it I thought "I must play this" and so I did and discovered my favourite game in the process. Thanks Coldplay. -
Does anyone else think Aerith looks plain weird? Kingdom Hearts keeps her cartoony look and it looks good, even Crisis Core in game graphics makes her look ok but as soon as they CG her...nope. Straight into Uncanny Valley.
-
Despite having owned 1.5 since the day it came out, I've only just seen how sharp the graphics of KH1FM look thanks to my sister starting a file. Holy cow it looks amazing! I will definitely start my runthrough tomorrow!
-
It isn't as great as 2.5 though, since KH1 is an older game, so it still has some parts to it that aren't that great looking (like people's eyes), but it still is a great HD remaster nonetheless. But I found playing 2.5 better on graphics on KH2 then on 1.5 for KH1!
-
In that case I can't wait to get play KH2.5! KH2 will really blow me away! I can't wait to see how BBS looks on the big screen too considering it is a PSP game.

After dying about FREAKING 25 times on Gadolt I grinded to level 70 and still got thrased (that damn laser bullet art of his! No matter what I do it kills me right away) so I look online and it turns out I can get Monado Armour to nullify ether attacks. And I have it now, so he's all mine now BWAHAHAHAHA!!
-
-
True.
It's kind of annoying that I didn't have her in my party all this time, cause now she has no affinity with the rest of the cast so they don't really revive her if she gets KO'd. As OP as she can be, when your HP can't reach zero even once or it's game over, the bosses are still a challenge.

Who else is in or plans to get in on the "Tales Of" series?
MyDixieRect replied to Soravids's topic in General Discussion
Tales of Vesperia just became on sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace. $4.75 or $3.75 if you're a Gold member. If you want it, even if you don't plan on playing it for a long time, now's the time to get it! -
Why these Youtube boss videos gotta be so useless? Yeah, I too could beat the boss if I were 6 levels overleveled, yeesh thanks for the help!

Video I Died Laughing Bwahahaha!
MyDixieRect replied to HarLea Quinn's topic in Random & Forum Games
I know it's kind of missing the point but I completely lost it when he replied "Not as cool as I thought it'd be" just cause what on earth made him think it would have been cool in the first place? What was he expecting to happen? -
Xenoblade has exhausted me. I need to play something mindless. Might finally give Sonic Colours a go.

Ruby Rose is banned? When? What happened?

And that our Moderator Team is all ready to take on any issues whatsoever. They have done this for months.

Then you are a good leader, Shana.
I can assure you now...this has been a learning experience. It will NOT happen again. I give you my word. My true, honest word.
Never again, Shana. I am sorry. I wish not to earn a bad rep for such things nor be an a**hole.

Fiora: I feel great! Shulk: Yeah you look great too! Me: Really Shulk? In the middle of battle? There's a time and place for it, Shulk, honestly.
-
So are we...ErectZombie now?...I like it.
-
You didn't know?! Dammit I should have kept it going longer to see how long it'll take you to realize!!
I only meant to change it for a day, per special request granted by the awesome Lea but everyone was telling me how awesome this name is so I had to stick with it!
I mean with rigor mortis and everything it only makes sense that a zombie is erect. But ZombieProof is a nice name, so it can stay.

IGN CANNOT GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS
MyDixieRect replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Creative Media
Haha no, I am from the UK though, so I know what a Welsh accent sounds like. (That and I just saw a random film on tv the other day that took place in Wales and you sound just like the boy in the film.) -

Somebody is clearly Welsh -
You can't really know the quality of a game until you play it so naturally it would be all those other criteria that sell games. A lot of people liked Majora's Mask before it was cool, though (heck it was my favourite game for many years from when it came out.) It got rave reviews at the time of release and sold 3.36 million copies worldwide. Not as much as Ocarina of Time but whatever. Still very good. About the same as all the other modern Zeldas. EarthBound was marketed in a really silly fashion so no surprise it didn't sell well. I played Okami, didn't really like it. Might give it another chance at a later date. Atlus has always been a niche company, which is a good thing because it forces you (with a few exceptions, all companies have duds here and there) to make a good game when you don't have the budget to hide behind fancy graphics and cinematic cutscenes and all that jazz. Admittedly I haven't played Little King's Story but that's because it's just not a genre that I'm really into.
-
Despite all the flak it gets, screw it--I should watch Advent Children. It's been long enough since I've gone through anything FFVII related
-
Congratulations! I wish you a very happy birthday...and many moore! Bahahahaha!!!
-
I mean to be fair he has no idea of any of their existences at the moment of that scene. But I'm well aware this is just the Random section, I'm just a party pooper.
-
I came across a term/ploy called "The Grave of the Fireflies Effect" that anime sometimes uses. It's basically "here's a kid, he's dead, now cry." I feel nothing during scenes like that, it's nothing but cheap.
-
The Phantom Troupe arc had lots of death in it. Two separate massacres iirc but I liked it cause it wasn't put there just to try and make you cry it just showed how powerful and horrific these people were and made you go "Wow!"
-
I wouldn't consider Grave of Fireflies a good example to name shows that just throw characters at you and kill them off, because, death. If you want characters who exist to do nothing but die, go watch Bokurano.
-
"Grave of Fireflies Effect" isn't just introducing and killing off characters just like that, the above comments weren't really talking about GoFE. GoFE is killing children in a contrived manner just to generate extra tears, which I won't dogmatically say Grave did cause I'm well aware it's based on true events but...well either way I'm sure Bokurano is a better example from what I've heard.

I used to, for the most part, only like continuous television programmes. Now I really love episodic shows too! There's just something so magical about never knowing what the next episodes gonna be about.
-
I should really play Tales of Symphonia again. I think I'll start my runthrough this weekend
-
I like my physical copies, but having it on PSN is good to know
Time to make Abyss a priority game to finish
-
I should probably get back to Xillia soon.
Still have the second downloaded (still need to install it though), but I'm not even a quarter of the way through the first. ._.
-
You got them both? Well I'm glad you had that much faith to buy the second without finishing the first.

So my youtube viewership history consists of 100s if not 1000s of videos. I watch ONE Xenoblade Chronicles video and on the home page youtube recommends me a list of spoilers. :|
-
-
I ended up stumbling across Xenoblade spoilers on Youtube while I was still playing through it, too. It'd be nice if there was some sort of way to avoid those videos... Those are all that ever pop up anymore. ;_;
