  1. Lol apparently. I can't find the lie in this statement.
  2. Just a little something I found in my 80 HP run. Note that the Red Nocturne card is really beneficial here and the last part of it was an accident.
  3. Nah, KH HAS been a hack & slash however in a kind of limited fashion. I mean IMO I don't consider CoM, Re Coded, BBS, or even DDD to be real hack & slash games. Now KH1 & KH2 I could see. However, with KH1 I saw it as an "experiment." They were testing out a bunch of features for the game hence why it had various platforming, rpg, action, and hack& slash elements. When CoM came out they decided to push forward with the RPG elements but it wasn't that favorable (especially since it was sequel title on a handheld). So KH2 comes out and they push forward the combo system & hack/slash elements. And while that is great they push down or remove the various RPG & even platforming elements (til Final Mix) in favor of the hack/slash tendencies. It's kind of KH1 is Dragon Age Origins and KH2 is Dragon Age II. KH2 & Dragon Age II are the "Actionized Sequels" Why the "spin-off" titles haven't had too many hack/slash elements is probably because they were saving it for a numbered KH game. While you do bring up a good point with the "choose the playstyle" I would have much preferred the first game's method with the Station of Awakening. Where Sora got to choose his weapon. Plus, the "choose the playstyle" doesn't sound too RPG like. I mean I could play through a DMC game choosing a different playstyle as well. That doesn't make DMC an rpg or does it?
  4. True, but I don't know. Sora himself already has too much on his plate to begin with (Command Menu, Drive Forms, Limits/Link Attacks, Flowmotions, Summons, Attraction Flow, Situation Commands, Keyblade Transformations/Shotlocks). I mean KH2 barely had half of these abilities and the average player didn't even use all of these abilities when going through the game. And while I do support a "broader" magic system like you stated I would only enjoy it if several of these abilities were removed from Sora's arsenal. Plus, these abilities seem a bit too "flashy" for my case. Idk maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of the "hack & slash" route this series has taken. And KH3 has already proven that it will continue in this route. However, I've come to realize that my opinions aren't exactly popular among the fanbase so if this is what the fanbase wants then power to them. I guess I can hope for the KH game after KH3 to be a bit more RPG like (CoM) or being 50% Action/50% RPG like KH1 (which was my favorite).
  5. Then would you also want Drive Forms to return as well? I'm just spit balling but I think Square only allows the player a small set of options. You can either have a playstyle where Donald & Goofy are capable party members (with various magic attacks & unique abilities, KH1) OR you can have almost useless party members whose only purpose is to help Sora with Limits & Drive Forms (KH2). And considering the KH3 trailers it looks more like it is headed in the KH2 direction. Sigh, despite popular opinion I really much prefer KH1's gameplay to KH2's.
  6. Maybe. However, I much prefer to abuse the system when it comes to the card-battle system...
  7. So how do you want his MP gauge to be like? Do you want it like KH2 where once he heals the player he loses all of his magic? Or like KH1 where he can you use multiple times? Also do you want Goofy's MP Gift and Evolution to return?
  8. Quick question but... How do you want Donald's magic in that game to be treated? Should it be like Sora's or like KH2's?
  9. Not only that but KH2's prologue presented Organization Roxas (the one in the flashbacks) as some sort of smart, confident badass with a side of deadpan snarker & emo (not the bad kind). I really wanted to see how he would end up like that when playing Days but it just never came to fruition. Yeah those same flashbacks are in Days but they never felt like Roxas ever grew into that character. Also while I also enjoy Roxas's character in the KH2 prologue I do NOT enjoy playing KH2's prologue whenever I replay the game. It feels so tedious and "fillery" (which is another reason I don't enjoy replaying KH2 as much). Like the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th days are pretty good but the 2nd (jobs day) and 5th (7 wonders) I could just do without.
  10. Lol now I feel bad for being in the minority who actually LIKES replaying CoM. That being said it IS a bit redundant replaying as Riku since his gameplay is much more limited than Sora's. However I still enjoy replaying the game. Days IS a grind to play through. I have 3 files with the first one being completed and the other 2 half way. I also don't like the story too much in that game despite the praise. Anyways Days was pretty good the first time through but anymore than that is too much for me.
  11. However, remember that KH 2.5 had that new secret ending in Re:Coded. I'm thinking that at the very minimum there will be some "new" trailer or ending you can unlock after completing one or all of the games. That being said my expectations are low since 1.5 didn't have an new ending/trailer, 2.5's was part of Re:Coded, & this is kind of a remake of a remake. Regardless I'm still going to get it since I would love to play KH1 on my PS4.
  12. I think you and I have differences when it comes to replay ability. For me it means starting a completely new file to see what type of alternative stuff I can do, recall significant moments, or just for fun. Starting up an old file just for the post-game content doesn't sound all to fun (but definitely counts under replayablity). I'm more likely to start a new file just to be familiarize myself with the game's content and THEN work up to the post-game content. Anyway it's because of this logic that I enjoy replaying KH1, Re:CoM (despite it's lack of post-game content), and even BBS since they offer new experiences for me to play with whenever I replay with them unlike KH2FM. Accurate statements are accurate. I also agree however Re:CoM is honestly my 2nd favorite KH game. And it's one of my most replayed KH games yet since it is just so much fun customizing Sora's deck and choosing how both he and Riku level up.
  13. What Kingdom Hearts game (that you own) do you replay the least?
  14. Made possible thanks to the glorious app Reicast.
  15. Thanks man. That means a lot. And I just might for DDD as well. I'm also thinking of posting videos that are related to your profile picture as well (Sonic Gameplay). Although, I'm REALLY trying to make videos that involve my opinions about the series so hopefully that will happen.
  16. Drive Forms in KH2 were underplayed or "irrelevant" in that game because: There was no Critical Mode (where Sora's HP is cut in half & the enemies are stronger) or Zero Exp. No Absent Silhouettes, Data Organization, Roxas boss fight, or Lingering Will. No Limit Form. No Cavern of Rememberance ( the ONLY place which utilizes the abilities gained from Drive Forms). Overall the game did not encourage the player to actually use the Drive Forms that much or at least learn their abilities (you can beat the whole game without learning any of their abilities That's why a lot of fans said KH2 was so easy & that it was button masher. Hence why KH2FM attempted to rectify this & why a lot of fans consider it the definitive version.

  18. Looks Amazing! However, I still wish Knuckles would smile a bit more. I know that he doesn't chuckle but come on.
  19. I know right? The Jafar card is just so beastly because it makes it so that you can pull some of the most powerful moves in the game without the fear of having a card break.
  20. So does that mean Goofy's son Max doesn't exist either? While Donald on the other hand has both an uncle & three nephews.
