Rhythm Style is really cool and Terra is my 2nd favorite character to use in this game.
-
What about Anti-form? What are you having trouble with? Limit Form is a boss killer.
-
Bruh, are you sure 1.5 HD Remix & 2.5 HD Remix aren't categorized together on this site?
-
But wasn't Wisdom Form helpful against the Mushroom XIII in 2.5 or KH2FM?

Just like the topic title states what Drive Form do you like you like to use the LEAST?

Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?
ReverofE replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I see why you think that but in reality I just really like playing Devil's advocate. If you guys had picked Drive Form Abilities over Drive Forms I would have argued in favor of Drive Forms. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?
ReverofE replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Last I checked KH2 was the ONLY Kingdom Heart game which had an MP gauge which had an MP charge time, turned pink whenever you run out of MP, and is the only one shaped like well a line. BBS, DDD, Recoded all had command decks, CoM had magic cards/sleights, Kingdom Hearts 1 had no charge time, summons were included as magic, & none of the magic can be used as combos. Yeah, I wouldn't call Nomura syncing the gameplay & story in Kingdom Hearts a real "habit." As for convincing I'm not really trying to persuade you to do anything. I'm just trying to nitpick your brain and wonder why you would want the gameplay developed in this certain way. You're free to believe & aspire anything you want from KH3. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?
ReverofE replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I'm not even sure about Valor. All I heard was that the audience was given 15 seconds of very fast flashes which involved KH3. Plus, what you just said about each keyblade containing its own ability...WHY DO THE HELL WOULD YOU NEED DRIVE FORMS AS WELL?! I mean you do know there are a lot of keyblades correct? And if each of them had their own unique ability/transformation then can you honestly say that Drive Forms are needed for this game? As for the Attraction Flow I admit that it is similar to summons. However, if the summons & Attraction Flow are similar can you honestly state that you would rather have not two but FOUR "redundant/clone like" gameplay styles in this finished product? Plus, they did bring something back which was unique to KH2 and it's called the MP gauge. Plus, they already rejected Reaction Commands (a concept which is has way been in WAY more games than Shotlock or Flowmotion) yet its no longer in the finished product nor is the Card System, Command Deck, Dream Eaters or the Command Styles (which I admit is something Sora hasn't learned/used) . So saying that this game is going to be a accumulation of everything Sora has learned and he should have access to every power works great storywise but not gameplay wise. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?

1. That's exactly they are going to use for the Drive System and the Keyblade Transformation. Why keep both when they pretty much perform the job even if its in a different fashion. Plus, the Drive Forms have always been a sort of gimmick for KH2. Like Trinity Marks, Command Styles, Card/Command System, and now Reaction Commands. 2. Plus, I know of the private trailer you are talking about. However, it doesn't explain why in the recent trailers they didn't showcase Sora using his Drive Forms with the Keyblade transformations. Did they give up on the idea? Are they keeping it for a surprise? Or did they just want to give the people who attended their money's worth? I also heard that he only went Valor/Wisdom form in that trailer. Which leads me to question how will he go Master/Final if he no longer has Ventus's heart if he decides to wake up in KH3. So why can't Keyblade Transformations be the "New" Drive Forms? They bring back the concept of Sora "transforming" and they go so far to extend this transformation by changing the new look of his keyblade and playing in a fashion which is different to Base Sora. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?
ReverofE replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Oh I'm not trying to say that "adding Drive Forms will ruin the challenge of the game" or "Drive Forms will make Sora too OP."What I'm saying is that it's a bit excessive to the player. All of this power, skills, and abilities given to the player might be a bit too much and confuse the player in general. Especially for people new to the franchise. So while adding Drive Forms would be cool I feel like Sora's transformation Keyblade already fills the requirements for the Drive Forms. I would like it if they were the "new" Drive so to speak. Kind of like how Aero in KH1 was replaced with Reflect in KH2 because adding both would just seem a bit weird and repetitive. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?
ReverofE replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Why not just take out the forms all together and link the KH2 Drive Form Abilities to his transformation keyblades?I mean Drive Forms are cool & all but like you said Sora is already OP what with his:Normal gameplay/commandsFlowmotionShotlockDisney Ride SummonsTransformation KeybladesI mean don't you think adding Drive Forms is a bit excessive? I mean not only in making him OP but also confusing the player by adding so much different functions to Sora. Don't you think that is a bit too much considering what the trailers have already revealed what is in Sora's arsenal? I mean that is of course unless we replace one of the features they showed in the trailer. -
Drive Forms or Drive Form Abilities?

Well wisdom was still pretty useful against the Mushroom XIII late game as well as Demyx's Data Battle. It also had 2 MP Hastegas something Sora couldn't learn at all in KH2 without using Ultima Weapon. However, I still wouldn't use it in an actual fight. Although, I still consider it more useful than Valor. -
EXACTLY! I've replayed KH1, KH2, BBS, and even CoM tons of times. However I beat 358/2 Days Once! I then tried replaying it 3 different times and it was just awful... I always quited halfway through because it was so goddamn boring. No Kingdom Hearts game has ever done this to me except this one.Plus, I personally think that gameplay is the most important factor of a video game. So 358/2 Days might have a good story but the gameplay is just boring...

Simply amazing.

Rhythm Mixer became my new favorite command style when I got this game. Yeah and it's kind of difficult to get as well...
