Synch Blade Question
outbackjim21 replied to SuperSmashDrake's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Yes, but the thing everyone is disacknowledging is that roxas himself awakened the ability, by reactivating ven's heart, otherwise, the ability to dual wield would have always been there and sora would have been able to dual wield in KH1. Now with that said. The ability did not exist prior to 358 because of the fact that ven was asleep. Now since roxas awakened the ability so then was sora able to have the potential to do. Without roxas, there would be no synch blade,(atleast without sora going through his own traumatic event). Now nomura has been known to weave story elements into thegameplay such as with anti-form and how its origins stem from sora's time as a heartless and overuse of the drive forms. So until there is gameplay or cutscene footage showing sora dual wielding in base form, he simply cant do it alone yet. Taking gameplay into consideration, sora can never truly realize his ultimate potential without the clothes just yet. As he is never able to MAX on any of his growth abilities, also each form boost his inherit stats and abilities. 3D helps to show that he is on his way to realizing this potential because he is able to outperform high jump, and able to use magic/strength based deck commands and also able to use superglide. What im saying and have been trying to say. Is that Sora can dual wield in base form, he just can't do it yet.And my opinion of roxas being a stronger keyblade wielder may be biased, but i have more than enough evidence to back up the assumption. -
Synch Blade Question
outbackjim21 replied to SuperSmashDrake's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I am for the argument that the reason that sora cannot dual wield outside of drive form is because he simply isn't as strong as roxas, who actually AWAKENED the potential based on his own ability rather than use clothes to do so. A flame war is probably going to start from this, but let's face the facts. Roxas was able to beat Riku, who was only able to win by sneak attacks and using a power that technically wasn't his own, ALONE, while sora needed Donald and goofy (doesn't matter if gameplay wise they are useless, they were still there) and he was also able to defeat saix, ALONE, and then we get to the battle at the heart station between sora and roxas, Roxas was without a doubt overpowering sora, in fact he disarmed sora with ease. Only reason sora won was because Roxas got jobbed and was surprised that sora could resummon his keyblade (which doesn't make since because he was able to do the same thing during the FM fight) Anyway, Roxas is a much more proficient keyblade wielder than sora, though his body, like DiZ mentions, wasn't suited to travel amongst the realm of light in order to defeat the organization. Though even then DiZ was being selfish and hated the concept of nobodies which means Roxas probably could have defeated the organization, if Xion could beat Xigbar (if he didn't fake it) and Roxas could beat saix. It's possible that maybe Roxas could, but he just wouldn't have the bonds that sora had that gave him strength. And 358 also somewhat sheds light on what DiZ was talking about, as Roxas never directly interacted with the denizens of each world, except Tink, but that's an exeception for multiple reasons. Now another thing, realizing your potential and actually utilizing it are two different things. Much like how in DBZ gohan had his hidden potential realized by guru, yet he was actually able to begin utilizing it during his training with old supreme Kai. anyway, Roxas actually utilized the potential to dual wield while sora simply realized that he could. Even though Roxas was a training proxy for sora during Sora's naptime. Not all of roxas's abilities completely went to sora, which is a reason why he would need to use the clothes, because he simply can't do it on his own YET. -
Which FF game do you want ported to PS4 next?
outbackjim21 replied to Sora96's topic in General Discussion
For the most part, a game that is well recieved yet garbage to play is when it comes from a big name publisher like Acti or EA, they buy their reviews. Gameinformer/ign is our famistu (let's admit that famistu overhypes games). Anyway, the only way I can see DC getting remade is if they do a FFVII compilation game, with every game, even the Turk cellphone game, and also the movie added just for the complete mythos, but if they did do that, it would just leave a terrible taste in everyone's mouth since ,chronologically,DC is the last game in the universe and it just wasn't good. -
Why Xemnas Doesn't Use the Keyblade
outbackjim21 replied to hatok's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Well as KH:3D reveals, they were going to be reborn as some bodies again, so Xemnas(terra) would have to seemingly die aswell in order to keep up the charade. Like I said, both xehanort's and Terra's heart are within Xemnas so maybe he can peer into the memories of xehanort and see his 7vs13 plan, what better way to firetruck it up than to have it so that on the day the 13 arrive, there are actually twelve because Xemnas will betray them. Also, why not test sora and Riku, he tested sora back in final mix, so why not this time test the bond between sora and Riku by prodding at what made them enemies in the first game. -
Why Xemnas Doesn't Use the Keyblade
outbackjim21 replied to hatok's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Terra's heart is definitely in control of the body rather than xehanort. Xigbar has been wary of apprentice xehanort ever since ansem the wise took him in, this doubt as to who was actually in control was shown in 2 different occasions; in the beginning of 3d when xehanort heart ripped the apprentices, and also in II FM+ when xigbar questioned why Xemnas was talking to aqua's armor. It's very well possible that when terranort put the keyblade in his chest, at the end of the fight with aqua, it was actually terra in control of the body at that point in time and that he accidentally sealed his memories instead of forcing xehanort out of his body. It shows that terra can definitely regain control, and it's possible that eraqus is helping him to do it. Now why is terra inside of Xemnas rather than ansem sod, because like I said above, Xigbar has been wary of Xemnas' intentions for quite a bit of time. And Xemnas' way of speech also give credibility to terra not only being in Xemnas but also being in control. When Xemnas fights sora and Riku he says how anger and hatred are supreme, why would Xemnas focus on those two emotions? The only character that would rely on anger in the KH series is terra, and those are the exact feelings he had when lingering will was created. When terra said that he would set things right, what if he let his anger toward xehanort consume him in his quest to destroy xehanort's 13v7 plan from within. He had xehanort's heart so he could very well have looked into that heart to see the plans that he would have to play out in order to avoid suspicion from Xigbar who was essentially MX's right hand man. Due to the events of KH 1 happening with or without his consent, Xemnas had to play out the role that xehanort have him, collect nobodies, but he could have been doing this to search for ventus, who he would find in Roxas, it doesn't look like it, but in 358/2 days Xemnas does show a sense of familiarity with Roxas. Another hint is that nomura states that Xemnas could or could not use a keyblade and that if he could, he chose not to. Why? Because if he did, Terra's keyblade would be the one that spawns throwing away his cover. Now know during 3d, sora gives his speech to Xemnas and Xigbar, throughout the speech, Xemnas is smiling while Xigbar later becomes distraught, why? Because he sees that sora has what it takes to stand up to xehanort and his plans and also during that scene when all of the people that sora is connected to appears, terra is coincidentally placed right where Xemnas should be standing. But this is all a theory,... A game theory! (Couldn't resist) -
KHUX Do you guys mind that Chi is Cannon?
outbackjim21 replied to Aqua7KH's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Its offically been labeled as canon now? I always thought it was simply "within canon" seeing as its a fairytale version of the keyblade war, if thats how they are going to display what was probably the most badass lore piece in the history of kingdom hearts... For shame nomura, for shame -
Actually, when you look at the series as a whole it discusses everything in relation to the heart. KH1- the relation of the heart to itself KH:com-the relation of the memories to the heart KH2- the relation of the body to the heart KH: BBS- well that ones just a cluster storm of themes so that ones kind of weird, I guess you can say emotions due to the unversed KH: 358- pretty much the combination of com and kh2 Now with 3d being ,in a sense, the prologue to KH3, it's possible that nomura is setting up the discussion of the relation between the heart and the soul. And once everything has been related, we will truly have an answer to what is a heart. Xehanort forced the apprentices to divide, and if throwing away the heart was the same as renouncing sense of self, why not just implant the heart of xehanort into them right away. Because the mind has to choose to do it, when the mind chooses to renounce its sense of self it makes the body banish the heart. And since the soul is what controls the body that is plausible. This allows xehanort to place his heart ( for some reason you think I'm saying soul) into the body and allows the heart to attack the soul and use the memories contained inside the heart to imprint them onto the fresh soul( the soul that has cast away it's identity) with little to no resistance because the original heart was banished from the body, and since the body is willing to take any heart it can get, it will easily accept xehanorts', so the soul, that has accepted the memories contained within xehanort's heart will assume his identity. And to satisfy your rhetorical, neon purple grass can exist, splicing the bio luminescent DNA from jellyfish, firefies, or certain plankton into the DNA of purple grass can allow the grass to light up with a neon tinge. It's theoretical of course, but doable. Btw, you are using the word "moot" in the wrong way.

"Sora can wield two keyblades at once because he has Ventus’ as well as his own. As Roxas is a part of Sora, he also can use two. In Days Roxas awakened his ability to dual wield after fighting Xion. In KHII once Sora absorbs him, he can also dual-wield." Semantics make a difference, your interview is 358 and this one is BBS, so there is no reason nomura wouldn't explicitly state that ven's heart was reawakened at that exact moment. "Back pedaling" is a well known step in the scientific method, do you think Einstein magically came up with the theory of relativity in its complete form without going back and ironing out any fallacies. And I am not contradicting myself in the sense that everything I just said was wrong, but what events, which have not been explicitly stated, could lead to my idea being wrong. And my soul theory is very well plausible, my quote from my previous post does not prove the heart and identity are the same entity, just that they are linked, if you would like the definition of the word link: a relationship between two things or situations. And ingame the events of taking over another person's body has been shown, but not explained In depth ie: xehanort sending his heart into terra, terranort being born, and xehanort assuming identity. My theory shows the process of how these events happens, atleast to a nobody. The heart attacks the soul/mind that has been weakened due to the renouncing of one's sense of self and then imprints the weakened soul with memories contained within the heart which forces the soul to assume a new identity, and if there is a heart already within the body, then it will act as a white blood cell (like Terra's heart attempted). for these reasons, Xemnas tried to make things easier by making sure their hearts wouldn't form so easily. and Xemnas says that by controlling the mind they could could get it to renounce its since of self. Not only is the the word "its" used as a possessive pronoun, meaning that the sense of self belongs to the mind, not the heart, but it yet again gives support to my soul theory as the mind is interchangeable with the word soul.

I didn't say that it was vanitas, just the personification of the darkness within him, and I maybe vanitas is or is not within sora, but the possibility is there. And for the xion's death activating ven's heart, whose to say that Roxas wasn't drawing emotion from ven's heart, but at that moment so much emotion was drawn out at once which kick started the healing process up to 11- plausible My theory states that the mind, which produces thoughts, is the same as a soul, this can be backed up by terranort who refers to all three components of a complete being when fighting LS, "Your body submits, your heart succumbs, so why does your mind resist?" So with that being said, the mind can be interchangeable with the word soul. The scenario of xehanort taking over another persons body can also be attributed to the soul, because it is what drives the body to move, it's possible that the process of taking over another's body involves overwriting the body's soul with the memories of your heart, thus imprinting the identity gathered from his memories into the soul. Which would explain why xehanort targets primarily nobodies when it comes to taking over their bodies because its alot harder to overwrite a soul when a heart is fighting against you. Now as for how terranort was still alive and kicking, don't know, but the idea that the soul and mind are the same is well within reason, as nomura has only stated, to my knowledge, in the ansem reports that the soul drives the body, so it's plausible that it can do other things- plausible Nomura: They did so in order to tempt Sora’s heart and have it fall to the darkness. In the story it also talks about how abandoning the self leads to losing the heart. This suggest that casting away your identity and losing your heart is NOT the same event. And would also support my idea of the soul being a flower bed from which hearts grow, screw up the flower bed(soul), you screw up the flower(heart). Xemnas even says that from memories, emotions are born, which also supports my idea that the mind is the soul and that as the mind creates memories, those memories "overflow" and sprout a heart. Nomura has not explicitly stated that Ven's heart(itself)reacted to xion's death, just that roxas awakened it [dual wielding] with the will(maybe soul) to not forget xion. And this awakens the potential of both him and sora to wield it, if anything, if KH1 sora had his KH2 outfit he probably could have duel wielded then, as it was always a hidden potential within him. And no, if you read what I had to say about the soul, I said that it creates memory's and in the process imprints those memories into itself while the heart contains those memories created and allows the individual to have feelings associated with those memories. All of Ven's memories are in his heart, but his soul has them imprinted onto itself as it created them. And I did not say that Roxas used ven's heart to build, I said he used it to have feelings about the memories his soul created, maybe or maybe not the memories went into the heart, if it didn't, he sprouted a new heart, but if it did, then Roxas' memories are within ventus' heart, maybe the same way xion's are inside of sora, except they can accessed. And that since ventus heart is not associated with the soul of the body and/or because the heart is damaged the memory can't be accessed, though I'm leaning toward the second because sora was able to view Kairi's memories, unless aqua's magic allowed it to happen somehow. And like i said, because sora's soul lacked imprinted memories it and Ven's memories could not be accessed because the memories within that heart were not associated with the body and/or the heart was damaged to the point it could not access memory yet provide emotion Roxas had to make new memories, and imprint them into the fresh soul, before he could form an identity. And the reason he could only see Sora's dreams was because either the original memories associated with the soul were returning, or Ven's heart simply not able to supply them. And no it did not take me days to come up with this, it took awhile, but not days. I have things to do, I can't sit on these forums all day responding to every red pop up in 30 mins or less.

The whole "ansem never truly died" part was pretty good. Having it so that the entire saga started because of the end of the first game is amazing, but the part about sora and Riku actually traveling back in time, I was under the implication that because they were traveling to the realm of sleep, they were visiting the dreams of the worlds from the past because they were sent to awake those sleeping worlds to the realm of light . I think it's safe to take a quote from dr. Who, the pop culture god of time travel, and that time travel can be very much associated with dreaming.

Now how does all of this relate to the PLAUSIBILITY of Roxas not having a personal heart yet, easy, with the birth of Roxas, ventus' heart transferred from the confides of Sora's heart into the body that would later be known as Roxas. Ventus' heart has been shown to be active, he cannot effect the outside world as if he had a body, but he can influence the mind of the body he is in, ala KH1 with the unseen entity, and 3d with sora seeing aqua, terra, and vanitas. Now this proves without a doubt that ventus' heart is capable, much to the contrary of everyone saying that his heart is useless and cannot do anything. Now also, with the birth of Roxas, he was in the process of gaining Sora's identity, his soul imprinted with his memories, but that process was shutdown, but what still remained within Roxas, who in the end had Sora's body,,... Sora's Soul, that which drives the body, and from my theory, creates the identity. To go with this theory, the soul is what CREATES/IMPRINTS (ITSELF) the memory and the heart is what CONTAINS and allows us to have emotions from those memories. when the soul completely transfers into the body, unlike Roxas' case which resulted in him being basically braindead, the identity is reborn without a heart to feel the emotions associated with those memories. Sora's memories were unable to imprint(partially) his soul, allowing Sora's body to gain a new identity unrelated to the memories originally related to that body. Ventus' memories aren't associated with the soul/identity of Sora's body which is why they do not recreate Sora's body as ventus himself, but instead just gives the body ventus' form, yet allows for the body's soul to create a new identity while also being able draw emotion from ventus' heart. With this, Roxas can simulate being a complete being, he has a body, a soul, and a heart that drives the soul to move the body, there is no need for the soul to create a new heart when it already has one that can drive the soul. Now, with the soul and heart being two entities closely related yet fundamentally different, is it not possible for ventus heart to be a substitute for Roxas' ability to feel. Roxas' identity is his and his alone, yet the possibility exist that Roxas' heart is ventus' and until Roxas gains a new body and retrieves his soul/mind/identity from within sora, and ventus regains his heart, that Roxas cannot be truly complete. And if this theory is true, it will give Namine something to do in KH3, because as its stands... She serves no purpose plot wise with her unique powers.
-
you aren't understanding what I'm trying to convey, by Roxas having ventus' heart, I'm not saying that he IS Ven, that he IS based on Ven as an individual, but that he can use Ven's heart to give himself an identity, through using ven's heart to draw emotions from, hell, you could even say he drew from vanitas' negative emotions, if he still exist within Ven. But it's also possible that the replacement the body so desperately wanted was in fact ventus' otherwise, what was the point of it leaving Sora's heart, the original resting ground for ventus' broken heart. And the concept of identity was established in COM, with repliku his identity was that of a replica, his memories were that of his time as a replica, but when they were rewritten, he gained the identity of Riku, same heart, two identities, and as stated memories are never truly gone, just locked away much like ventus' heart within Roxas . And like I said, the possibility of roxas having grown a heart is there, but I just believe that he is using ven's heart in order to show emotion. Roxas can't access ventus' memories, those that are sealed, so he creates new ones relative to himself. similar as to what Riku replica has done. This shows .that just because the hearts original memories are sealed that it cannot make/interpret new ones and give itself a new identity while still having the original sealed within itself., but before you say I am contradicting myself, understand that through my perspective there is only one heart within Roxas up to this point, that heart being ventus. If I believed there were two, this would be illogical. I am not ignoring your arguments,I'm am simply stating reasons I do not believe Roxas has his own personal heart yet, some of the world's greatest treaties/ideas were created because ,within a group, one person was assigned to be the guy who propositioned the opposite plan, if everyone thought the same way, the same answer would be born each time. And if you go back through every post I have made on these forums, not specifically just this topic, I place counter arguments to my own theories just because there are so many roads nomura can choose to take.
-
Then at the very beginning of a nobody's exist, an existence that is nothing but memories and the identity of its former self, does it have a heart as soon as it is born? Sora and Roxas both, have no idea of their connection to ventus, and I'm not saying that Roxas cannot be saved, he exists within sora, ansem the wise explicitly stated that sora can save the hearts AND existences of those we thought were lost. Just because he doesn't have a heart doesn't mean he can't be reborn with one. And with the identities integrating, lea can be a perfect example of this, lea had dreams and friendships before he became a nobody, but after becoming one he renounced both those dreams and friendships in favor of his new found dreams and friendships with Roxas and xion, he IDENTIFIES himself with the memories of those two and the dream of being with them. Though this could be counteracted by lea calling saix by his original name.
-
Q3: Is it possible that Roxas has a heart?A: It is thought that it could be Ventus’ heart. In KHII FM there were clues to him having a heart, and in Days we saw Roxas crying--proof that he could have a heart. As was said in Q1, he has taken a lot of himself from Ventus. But perhaps when Sora and Roxas were separated, Ventus’ heart stayed in Roxas?Wow, the power of an interview from the director himself. And just because Roxas is sleeping within sora does not mean that he has a heart of his own, it's like a split personality disorder with Ven and Roxas one heart/mind two different sets ofmemories, experiences, and identities. And how is my logic flawed, has nomura explicitly expressed that because ven's heart is being repaired that it can't be accessed to draw emotion from, or in other words be a substitute heart for a foreign body. And by saying that lea's two hearts from two different sets of memories and friendships that fostered the respected heart merged together is you speculating as well, which in the end is what nomura wants us to do when going into KH3. And based on your logic invoking dormant hearts, since AX and Terra's memories were sealed, as far as we know, at the end of BBS then a new heart could be formed that refered to itself as xehanort because that's what ansem the wise thought his name was.And in reference to the other characters not knowing that ven's heart was within Roxas. If I were to give you a box, and you looked inside that boxed, would you be able to tell me the contents in the box? Now what if I told you the contents of that box were actually from a complelty different box, you had no idea the contents were not original to that box, you assumed it was because you didn't have any information stating otherwise, much like the characters in KH when speaking of Roxas' heart. So how is that proving your point?
-
xion, undoubtably she gained a heart during 358 days, but the concept is established, it doesn't matter that the heart doesn't belong to the body, not a single person be it the characters or nomura himself have stated that this is an exception to the rule of being able to grow a heart or not. And yes Roxas and the others mentioned are sleeping within Sora's heart, but explain this then, what happens when a nobody that has grown a heart disappears and is reformed (I.e Lea) what happens to the original and the newly formed? Does that mean lea has two hearts now, or did the hearts merge together, or maybe it evenKicked out the newly formed or ignored the original. And what about apprentice xehanort, his memories are sealed as well, did he grow a new heart? This is the downside of nomura playing things by ear, plot holes form. But until they are filled I believe that Roxas is not his own person yet, though he has an identity, that identity does not have a heart to call its own, very similar to a nobody, yet because Roxas does indeed have a heart it means he is not a nobody, technically. As it stands, not a single character, awake on the light side, aside from Mickey and yen Sid ,even have a clue as to where ventus is, or even who he is, Every character is pretty much talking out of their ass when they say Roxas is his own person that he has his own heart. Because they have no idea of ventus' existence and the fact that ventus' heart was within Roxas.
-
it chose him at hollow bastion because of his heart, but it originally went to him because of ven's heart was inside him. destiny occurs with or without the actions of the individual going with or against the events that are predetermined. Heck, even xehanort didn't see the existence of sora coming into play. Sora was never destined to wield it, but through effort he was able to. I would like to see the interview where sora is stated that he was specifically destined for it since birth though, but either way this debate isPointless since noumea is writing this stuff as he goes along.
-
DDD doesn't confirm it, it notes the possibility, sora says that Roxas "deserves" to be his own person, deservingAnd being are two different words. It's possible that he did, but it would go against what Xemnas said about the conditions needed to grow a heart.
-
but like I said before, Roxas was never truly a nobody, he always had Ventus' heart within him, there was never a need for him to grow a new one. Roxas has his own identity that much is sure, but it's based off the foundation of Ven's heart, once Ven regains it in KH3, THEN Roxas will be able to grow a new heart, but until then, Roxas is technically not his own person unless sora has become a heart factory and gave Roxas a heart after their complete merge.
-
Sora was never destined to wield the keyblade, the only reason he could was because he had a keyblader's heart within him, and riku's keyblade went to the one most able to use it after riku succumbed to darkness, its all a coincidence. Nomura has gone on record to say that sora represents the average joe, that anyone could be sora because he isnt special....but that was like 6 games ago worth of interviews, so maybe that idea has changed. And sora says it himself in 3d, that he wasn't chosen by the keyblade, but glad to be a part of those who were.
-
As it stands, i think roxas isn't his own person yet, he still has ventus' heart, technically, and from what xemnas has said, only when the heart is gone can the body grow a new one. And also ven's memories are sealed, its the same concept behind an amnesiac getting a new personality because they don't remember their original, and with sora keeping his own memories due to not remaining a heartless for long, this resulted in both roxas being a zombie the first two weeks and his fragmented memories involving sora. Ad xemnas was never shown to wipe roxas' memory, he just found him the day he was born and gave him a name, nothing more nothing less
-
... Why are you so pressed on characters who cannot canonically dual wield being able too. Never before, to my knowledge, has anyone refered to a keyblade by its chain kingdom key or otherwise, except the x-blade, but that's a natural phenomenon rather than keyblade of man's heart. Yes keychains, IN A SENSE, are canon. Roxas's dual wielding transformation in 358, and kairi giving sora the oathkeeper charm both disproves and proves this, keychains do not have to be physical, just a really powerful memory could transform the keyblade( seeing as the oathkeeper charm was with sora when Roxas gained the blade). Now with the kingdom key d turning into star seeker, I only have one theory that can support the reasoning behind this. All keyblades start out as KK or KKD as it is the most basic of all keyblades, the exception to the rule is Riku, as far as we know, but after certain amount of usage of the keyblade, it melds to the personality of the user, resulting in their most basic keyblade seen ingame. The only way this theory could be wrong is because sora, Roxas, and xion were never meant to be keyblade wielders so that is why they start of with the most basic form, to show off their limitless potential. But if my theory is true, then in conjunction with the reason why sora "resets" each game due to either memory loss or training, Mickey, due to giving up his keyblade from the realm of light in order to wield one from the darkness, had to "imprint" his personality and memories into the new blade which would explain why he gets star seeker back later, though its only a theory... A game theory (couldn't resist) also, keyblades have been implied to be somewhat sentient so it would make sense to imprint new memories into a new blade.
-
This is where the ultimanias become your best friend, nomura has gone on record to say that Sora's ability to dual wield is because of ven's heart. And I am basing sora lending Riku oblivion based on the opening in 3d. And foremost, i have already explained that sora and mickey share the keyblade star seeker because of their shared experience of meeting Yen Sid. playing as secret characters is completely different from giving people non-canon abilities. Though I guess that can be reversed *shudderss* mecha-naruto
-
Keyboards are formed from the memories of its user, those memories take on a physical manifestation in the form of keychains, when two users share the same keyblade (such as TVA BBS) it's because they had a similar experience resulting in similar blades. Sora gained star seeker after meeting yen Sid,... Do you want to know who else met yen Sid...MICKEY MOUSE!!! Riku technically can/cannot duel wield, he has another heart of a keyblade wielded within him (ansem sod) but ansems memories related to the keyblade are sealed (as far as we know), and when he handed destiny a embrace to Kairi, he himself still did not have a keyblade as soul eater is not officially a keyblade, but a medium for a keyblade wielder's power
