  1. Darkness in the KH series seems to be all about excess and temptation. Riku can use it because he's learned how to moderate it. Light, on the other hand, being the opposite, would probably turn world inhabitants placid and weak. I could imagine worlds being drowned out from too much light.
  2. I think playing one character can lead to a tighter story, but it depends on the execution. So far it has been done very well, but it would have ruined some of the surprise and mystique if we got to play as Riku in KH1 or Xion in Days.
  3. I loved Deep Jungle! It was absolutely gorgeous as a world. Sometimes I go in first person view there just to look up at all the trees.
  4. I mean, that game even had Axel in it! Surely this should have placated the zealous fans?
  5. I knew that Neverland Skies and Blast Away! -Gummi Ship III- never stood a chance. At least the orchestral version of Simple and Clean is on there.
  6. *types out entire list of likes and dislikes* *looks at first post* *slaps self in face* KH1 + Expansive environments with lots of exploration - Not very polished in gameplay CoM + Definitely my favorite battle system because each battle felt like it required real strategy - Plot in most of the worlds is non existent (and that's not an exaggeration for Riku) KH2 + Roxas is introduced as a character - Everything is lame-ified compared to the first game Days + We get to see more of the organization and some cute dialogue - Xion is the protagonist while Roxas just reacts to what other people do until the very end Coded: I haven't really checked this one out... Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance: + Look like they'd be totally awesome in every respect and my favorite games of the series - I'll probably never get to play them
  7. Favorite: Luxord (Normal hair! and great vocabulary) and Larxene (she reminds me of a more giggly version of Portal 2 GLADos) Least Favorite: I know this is going to get me so much hate, but... Axel other than COM. I liked his backstabbing, scheming nature in Chain Of Memories (and also some of the "poisonous friend" aspects in later games), but after that there was way too much emphasis on him and he felt like the writer's pet.
  8. I have the same opinion, of all the games I've played in the series (KH, Re: COM, KH2, and... Days), it had my favorite combat system. I can set my victory up in peace and then watch it go like a clockwork. It's awesome. And even if I were in an inferior position (the most memorable being against Ursula when I was Riku and used up almost all my cards in sleights except a couple of 1s and 2s and a single zero card), if I used my cards cleverly I could still come out on top (I learned a lot about card breaking from that battle).
