The Legend of Zelda (Wii U) - General Discussion
Roxas Illini replied to Hero of Winds's topic in General Discussion
Where is the green tunic? -
Groudon and Kyogre are getting new forms, which seems to be similar to mega evolution in that they gain more power. Should more mythical legends have this type of evolution? Like the Creation Dragon Trio and Arceus?

They needed a contrast between Sora and Simba. A half-mane version of Sora just wasn't going to cut. And Sora couldn't be much bigger than Donald and Goofy's forms when Sora is a little shorter than Goofy normally.

I am with Olaf on this one.

Meet the Robinsons World?
Roxas Illini replied to Saïx's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
It was not even that great or sucessful of a movie. -
I met Matt Adams and John Mabry when they came to my town on the Cardinals Carivan (the Cardinals First Baseman and Hitting Coach, respectively). I also met former Cardinals pitcher Andy Benes. And College basketball coach Bruce Weber. Other than that, the most "famous" people I have met are some of my local government representatives and the current University of Illinois president Bob Easter. My grandma has met Bush Sr., and my grandpa knew J.C. Penny. My grandpa used to be president of the University of Okalahoma and thus knows some other famous people, including Bill Self and Cardinal slugger Matt Holiday's dad.

Ruby and Sapphire marked a big leap in terms of story evolution and berry growing. The bad things about Ruby and Sapphire were some uninspired Pokemon designs (Beautifly anyone?), but it was great for Legendaries to be more prominant and having more of a story behind them. I hope that berry growing is centralized like it is X and Y, because it is really annoying to track down and water multiple berry sites. Maybe they will make the opposite gender character more of a rival. How about Birch actually being tackled at the start of the game?

Building my Wii and Wii U library! Game suggestions?
Roxas Illini replied to Mystics Apprentice's topic in General Discussion
Pikmin 3 is a good choice. Wind Waker HD. Both of those games are free game options with Mario Kart 8. Remember, the entire Wii library can be played on Wii U, though you will need a Wii Remote and any attachments that those games require. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is definately a must have. Super Mario 3D World is fun to play with friends, though the tablet use leaves much to be desired. Games for the Wii that you should get: Skyward Sword (though linear and Fi pointing out the obvious, it still is a fun game), Metroid Prime Trilogy (a hard find, though it is great to play all 3 Prime console games with Corruption controls), Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Xenoblade Chronicles (Also a hard find). GBA games are part of the Wii U virtual console. Golden Sun is on it, and I am pretty sure its sequal will soon follow. Earthbound is a great and funny game. Nintendo has announced DS games as part of the virtual console (though I don't know if any games have been announced). -

Do you usually receive game consoles as birthday presents?
Roxas Illini replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
For Christmas, once or twice. For my birthday, no. -
I have not seen much on non-Nintendo consoles that really interest me into playing them. I only went non-nintendo to get the first two KH games.
-
Except for Nintendo consoles . They have not released a main series Final Fantasy non-remake on a Nintendo console since Super NES, because Nintendo preferred smaller and more expensive cartigades for the N64 in order to combat priracy rather than cheaper CDs which can store more data. Than Nintendo's president made that slight to Square, and Nintendo has been practically begging Square Enix to develop exclusives for them ever since Nintendo decided to go disc format for the Gamecube.

KH3D KH3D Confusion... Again
Roxas Illini replied to Green Sparrow's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Pete might have accidentially step through a corridor of darkness and stumbled into that world sometime after Timeless River when he lost his steamboat. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy obviously had Yen Sid teleport them to this world as part of their training in the past. Or, it could just be a dream that never happened rather than a sleeping memory of the world. -
Other Square Enix game characters in KH
Roxas Illini replied to Roxas Illini's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I am talking about other characters from non-Final Fantasy games. It would ruin it if they dumped a bunch of characters that felt like they do not belong into the game, but using TWEWY characters raises the possibility of more non-FF characters getting into the series. -
Should more Square Enix characters from non-Final Fantasy games be allowed in the KH series in the future? How about we randomly add Chrono somewhere then have Ringabel (from the new Bravely Default game) mindlessly flirst with females, especially female villians.

Who is your Favorite Non-Keyblade Wielder?
Roxas Illini replied to ReverofE's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Neku. Seriously, they should establish him as a permanent character in the series like they did with the Final Fantasy characters in KH1. -
I think that they should be a mixture, actually. For sidescrollers, like Metroid and Super Mario Bros., they should be in 2.5D. Games that have a perspecitve like 2D Zelda games (except Zelda 2) should follow the example of A Link between Worlds or Bravely Default. The traditional perspective is kept, but all the graphics are 3D. That makes it a 3D game while still feeling like a traditional 2D game.

N64. It was my first console, and thus all controllers must bow before its awesome E-shaped design.
