  1. Let me stop you where you say that the game takes away the advantages the character has over hordes of enemies with two words: Flow motion. Second, most of the smaller enemies are stunned when you hit them, and the larger enemies are usually more guilty of not flinching, which is understandable, and was the case in BBS. Though enemies still flinch far less in DDD than BBS, admittedly. And enemies have been able to attack faster then you could react for a while, and this is rather common in action games. Which is why preemptive measures and strategies are useful. Also, if enemies had a ton of flinching capability, it would lessen the balance of Flowmoiton. As for Second Chance and Once more being essential KH abilities, I don't personally see the problem in this. They aren't really all that essential until you get to Proud and Critical mode. If it such a problem, the game provides Standard and Beginner mode. Also, you could probably advance through DDD without them if you were so skilled. Take Critical mode for instance, the game calls it the ultimate test of your action skills. If you aren't skilled at the game, you won't beat Critical mode. It's meant to be difficult, and SC and OM are there for players not skilled enough to beat the game without it. The camera however, is a legitimate complaint, as it makes some attacks harder to see coming. Though I personally haven't had much problem with the camera. I think the only problem I ever had with it was fighting the secret boss when he jumps from the building.
  2. Some moves that have a certain hitstun bypass it. Sometimes enemies hit me and reduce me to 1 HP, and before I can heal myself they hit me again, and it bypasses Once More. Presumably that means you cannot use commands yet, but can do other things like dodge. In that situation, you'd have to dodge, then heal, or risk being killed.
  3. Tell me you played on Critical, as DDD Proud mode wasn't extremely challenging compared to Critical. I found the bosses to be far more difficult than in BBS. Everything was just so easy in BBS aside from maybe Mysterious Figure, and the very beginning of Terra's story. I mean, Shotlocks with major damage and invincibility? Equipping as much Cure as you want with Ven and Aqua having infinite dodge roll invincibility? Easily having end-game commands before reaching endgame? Just awful balance. Hell, even Second Chance and Once More are extra easy to get in BBS.
  4. It's partly out of ignorance, or the will to cater to their children's wants. But I imagine that they think "Is it worth not buying my child this game and risking them hating me? Nothing bad could possibly come of this, my child won't turn up violent." But from my experience, my dad was a little concerned with the games I played at first, but my mom really wasn't. She would let me buy M rated games (this was before I got a car and driver's license).
  5. Critical is definitely much harder in this game than Birth by Sleep. Bosses that I previously had no issues with on Proud mode like Riku's final bosses and Sora's boss for the Grid were especially challeging for me.
  6. Definitely more balanced than BBS. In fact, I'm stating objectively that DDD is far more balanced than BBS.
  7. Eh, DDD has a better lock on system, and it is generally more polished. Also, Melding=/=better system. Personally, I like the idea of a Crystarium-esque link board more, but my problem with it is that actually expanding it feels rather slow. Also, DDD has better balance. Sure, it has flowmotion battle, but it's less broken than Shotlock. Also, less pseudo difficulty, and dodge roll is more balanced. For me, it's the opposite. BBS was a beta version of DDD.
  8. Well, it has to charge doesn't it? That's what the USB cable s for. It's wireless.
  9. I agree with the gameplay for the most part. Don't think I've encountered any glitches though, despite playing 3 versions of the game. Now for the story. 1. Yes, Eraqus is a light whore, but Terra did in fact, use the darkness to his advantage, and it was implied that he won the match against Aqua. See, Aqua was gaining the upper hand against Terra, and Terra let the darkness inside him flourish, in order to get the upepr hand back. hence why Eraqus said "You musn't be afraid of losing." Terra had to learn to control his impulses, and if he were a true "Master" then he wouldn't have to learn anything. Basically he probably didn't know about the 13 Lights and 7 Darknesses. As for him trying to kill Ventus, even if he did know that there was more than one way to forge the X-Blade (and he probably didn't) Eliminating Ventus would at least stall Master Xehanort's plans. 2. First of all, Aqua's logic in only giving the keyblade to one of the boys was sound. Also, even if Riku did get the Keyblade as well as Sora, his desire to see the outside world would have led him to opne his heart to dakness, and lose control of it, which would still take the Keyblade from him. Also, it's Maleficents fault primarily that Riku was turned against Sora in the first place. Not Aqua. As for Aqua saving Xehanort, it is implied that he may have never had amnesia in the first place. So if he were left in the realm of Darkness, he'd probably have an easier time finding Kingdom Hearts, which could have been disastrous. 3. Eh, maybe it was a bit lazy. But I think it was meant to be a direct reference to Roxas.
  10. Yeah, you drop from char to char sometimes from story events, sometimes from just playing. The gauge goes from Blue>Green>Hot Pink>Bonus time (30 seconds)>Drop. Use Drop me Nots or Drop me nevers to restore your drop gauge, and reset your drop gauge speed. Some attacks like Sleep increase the falling speed of your drop gauge.
  11. I'm just so mad right now...how someone can do this...
  12. I recommend Ballonga over Ballonra for this fight.
  13. I think hatok already knows that it was a trick used by Xehanort and Braig.
  14. Which is odd, since everyone I saw always went on about how this is like CoM.
  15. hatok, you're extremely late on this :u But you did bring up points I hadn't thought about http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png
  16. Spam Balloonga (can be gotten from R&R Seal and the other Seal Dream Eater, or from the Flick Rush Medal Shop) get second chance (can be gotten from Meowjesty and R&R Seal. Actually a few DE's have it) and Once More (From Drak Quack and Tyranto Rex). With Riku it's easier because of Dark Roll.
  17. Better question: Why is Meowjesty so cute! o3o
  18. Funny, FFVI fans hates usually hate FFVII. But anyways, VII is a good place to start. not too difficult in my opinion, and it has quite an interesting world and story. It can be gotten from the PS Store. Also, X is a must play FF gamewhich can be gotten for PS2. Both those are good starting points. But I recommend playing VII, X, VIII, and IV. All of those games can be gotten from PSN, to play on PSP and PS3 except for X and IV. IV can also be gotten as a UMD. IX are VI are also considered quite good, but I haven't tried them for myself.
  19. Not even sure how I made that typo.
  20. Block when he first charges himself. Then jun away. When he's about to jump from a building, switch to your least needed command if possible.
  21. Saw it coming in the close up of his eye in BBS. Just seemed obvious then.
