    yeah, and based on some recent comments from square saying they might bring future final fantasy to PC, KH seems extremely likely to come over.

    give me one good reason why having a different protagonist means that the actions of a previous one never happened. because assassins creed would like to have a word with you.

    as much as i love Sora as a character and have enjoyed his games. I just wish he wasn't returning for the next game. Sora's had a ton of games, all good, but for god sakes just give him some closure, let him stay at the island with Kairi and Riku. It feels pretty upsetting to know he'll just have to leave his home again and again to face danger.(as long as SE makes money) besides there are so many more things to do with different main characters. different interesting stories to tell, it gives the freedom. or heck if they wanted to have a solid connection to sora make the main character his son running around with Max and either Huey Dewy or Louie. I mean look at how interesting Roxas's story was and the stories in BBS, never possible if sora was the main character, they gave us different interesting views of the KH universe. and while i know we will probably get some new characters with spinoffs(or current side characters) it will still be limited because it will have to be tied back to Sora thoughts?

    the only real convolution problem is dream drop distance, take that away and i can explain the story of the games fine to anyone.

    it's not square as a whole, JUST square japan. it's like their racist against PCs or something. lets look at all the modern square titles on PC, Deus ex, tomb raider, hitman.

    um. excuse me? the PS4 isn't backwards compatible. you have to stream PS3 games to it which is absolute BS and why i want the collections in digital and disc for on PS4 and other consoles. sure it sounds appealing, but what are you going to do in 10 years when you cant play the classics you loved because a service is down?(or if PSN goes down for a while)

    that's high sales figures? sorry but you need a reality check, that's low, EXTREMELY LOW. this is a franchise that should be selling like bacon.KH2 sold 3 times that number at the time of it's release. I've been saying it for ages, this series needs to go fully multiform,not everyone went from PS2 to PS3, most people i know(who are KH fans) went over to 360. this series doesnt need to be just on XBOX1 as well but aslo PC(and KH3 is made in DX11, porting to PC should be easy, I don't see what square japan has against computers) and 2.5HD NEEDS to be on PS4 ,XBOX1 and PC otherwise they are going to be dealing with even less sales.

    people who have heard the series is good but don't own a last gen console? seriously this is stupid. the only way for PS4 only owners to play it is through streaming, which i HATE, 10 or 20 years down the line I want to be able to play my games, I don't want to have to rely on an online streaming service that will go down eventually, or could go down for weeks or months with PSN.

    yes, they want it on one platform, but that's not going to be PS3 since KH3 is only on PS4/XBOX1

    first off let me be completely clear, I am not in any way saying that this compilation shouldn't happen. But square, seriously, making this PS3 exclusive? 1.5 I can understand since they didn't know about the PS4 at the time and it runs well enough on the PS3. but putting 2.5 out just on PS3 when you've already confirmed KH3 on PS4 and XBOX1? who the hell is making your business decisions?! this is something that should be on PS4 and XBOX1 as well even if it was just a digital title(and PC but that's a different subject entirely), the whole point of the compilations is to make the entire franchise understandable to newcomers and catch people up on story, plus to give people outside of japan final mix's, your loosing so much money in sales for this and KH3(since this would help get people into the franchise) by keeping it just on PS3. and this isn't even a company that can afford to loose sales with their current financial state.

    wormhole, they could just easily thorw in a wormhole also kingdom hearts isn't it's own galaxy, every single world in kingdom hearts is a fragment of a planet.

    hold on, back the hell up for a second. so star wars traveling between different planets would be a problem, but it's completely fine when lilo and stitch do it(BBS)

    just what the frick kingdom hearts is exactly! sure it's supposed to be the heart of all worlds. but in kingdom hearts 1 it's implied to just be a doorway to the realm of darkness.(and now in KH3D implied to be a fake which doesn't make sense) in kingdom hearts 2 i have no idea just what the hell it was they made. I just want a clear explanation on all this.

    really, because last time i checked minecraft has sold millions on xbox360. you can't comment on the game and how much it pushes a console to it's limit since we have seen 0 gameplay footage, we don't even have confirmation that anything we've seen from the reveal trailer is actually in game or just a promotional CGI video they came up with. also, it's not expensive to port the game to xbox1, it's running 64bit architecture just like the PS4, it would cost more money to port it to wiiU.

    not really, a lot of people went from PS2 to XBOX360. and some of those people may go to XBOX1. at the end of the day square is just covering all of their bases to make as much money as possible. and considering the financial state of the company that's something they need to do.

    well we've never seen any of the other initiations happen where the master let go of the keyblade. so we don't have a lot to compare it too.

    I'd rather have episode 1 2 or 3 in kingdom hearts than high school musical

    I'd rather they not get into this with Oswald. I like Oswald's character but it would be a pretty big WTF moment to have him appear out of noware and suddenly have a huge crucial role in the conclusion of the series. I'm fine with them using oswald for a subplot or something(I also demand a Max subplot!) but he shouldn't be given a major role right away.
