  1. What's going to happen to Sora? When are Aqua, Ventus and Terra going to actually come back, and how? Who are Xehanort's other darknesses?
  2. Source? Looking at the game script I see no evidence of this conversation taking place on Day 255; in fact, it's presented separately in the intro and never featured in any of the in-story cutscenes.
  3. In the opening for Days, we see this snippet of a conversation between Roxas and Axel: Do we ever find out on which day this conversation took place?
  4. (EDIT: Aw crap, meant to type "among other topics" in the subject but botched it up) I'm not sure whether to put this in "Writing," or here because it discusses spoiler-sensitive topics...but I figured here was best, because the people I'm looking for answers from frequent this forum... so yeah. I've always been keenly interested in a few of the gaps in the Kingdom Hearts story - that is, parts of the narrative that we hear about secondhand but never actually witness. Of course, chief among those gaps are what Mickey was up to during the original Kingdom Hearts and what Riku was up to during 358/2 Days. Now, I know Nomura has already said that he's interested in telling these stories- with the latter two stories obviously covered by Days and Birth by Sleep, respectively, but at this point in the story's development and with a pretty clear direction in terms of future titles I'm not so sure they're going to get the kind of attention that a lot of people seem to hope they'll get (i.e., they probably won't be made into games). I've decided, therefore, that it's fairly "safe" to give telling the Riku story a shot. Now, before I actually start writing, there are a few kinks I want to work out in terms of details that will affect how certain characters play into the story. I'm trying to avoid outright inconsistencies by looking at the game text of the currently-released titles (namely Chain of Memories, Days, and II), but with 3D out in the wild I'm sure there are a lot of things that I'm totally clueless about. That said, I need your help, KH13 forums, to figure out whether some of these ideas are ever blatantly contradicted by the games. But let's distinguish blatant contradictions from apparent ones. Let's use a recent revelation from 3D as an example: What seems like an apparent contradiction is actually a case where we're given faulty or incomplete information. This is different from a blatant contradiction, where we can completely confirm that something is outright not the case. There will be a lot of apparent contradictions in my story, because I'm going by this premise that "what we've been told isn't the whole truth." I'm also quite aware that many of these contradictions may become completely unresolvable based on future games... but that's a risk pretty much any fan-fiction takes, right? Without spoiling too much about my upcoming story out the gate, here's the first major contradiction I want your input on before I start writing (minor 3D spoilers inside, so beware): Anyway, if there's any of that that's blatantly contradicted (I only really know how 3D ends, not really anything about what happens during the plot), I'd like to hear it from you guys before I set the story in stone. I'm still in the process of developing the plot, so there aren't really any other major questions to speak of yet, but we'll see what comes up based on the feedback I get on this topic.
  5. There's a pattern by which extracted hearts can regain physical forms- the connections between them and other hearts: Part of Ansem SOD's heart is/was in Riku, so Ansem was able to take a physical form (even separate from Riku). Part of Sora's heart was in Kairi, so Sora was able to regain his physical from (separate from Roxas). And here I'm going to make a presumption: Part of YMX's heart is in Master Xehanort. That's why the assembling of Xehanorts from across time couldn't take place until Master Xehanort returned. He's basically pulling a Voldemort-Horcrux, except each of the pieces of his heart is fully animate, and through their strong connections to him, able to take on a physical form.
  6. It's just a story arc centering around Aqua, Terra, and Ven and their relationship to Sora.
  7. Given the running series trope "Sora breaks all the rules," coupled with Roxas's "that's why it has to be you" speech and Sora's "screw the rules, I have my friends" speech when it was revealed that he really has no proper ties to the Keyblade, I'm gonna go with Sora being the seventh light.
