Oh I didn't realize it was the ultimate bundle! That makes a little more sense. -
PlayStation™Now PS4 Open Beta Walkthrough
Nathan Hatton replied to Sora96's topic in General Discussion
If only the prices weren't ridiculous... It costs more to rent a game for 90 days than it does to buy it. FF XIII-2 is an example of it. It was like $20 for 90 days and you can buy the game for $15 or less -
This does fit accurately with the one older franchise, one new franchise each year thing. It also fits well with recent rumors of supposed movie dates as well as the few that are confirmed. The subtitles fit fairly well with the assumed upcoming storylines, specifically Ragnarok and Civil War though I don't know that those would be the subtitles. The biggest hole in this is World War Hulk and Inhumans. Inhumans could happen but they've already said that the "mutants" are miracles, so they won't be inhumans as it was originally thought. Marvel also said just a few weeks ago that a Hulk movie will not be world war hulk. This is primarily because people loved Mark Ruffalo as bruce banner. The world war hulk storyline has almost no banner in it at all, he's basically hulk the whole time. I can definitely see parts of this being right, but I'm skeptical until everything is actually announced.

The Legend of Zelda: My reaction on Zelda U's art style
Nathan Hatton replied to Exiblade7's topic in General Discussion
Don't get me wrong, I love the realistic graphics too, but they will honestly be able to make a bigger and more epic game by using cel-shaded graphics! Either way, i can't wait either. -
The Legend of Zelda: My reaction on Zelda U's art style
Nathan Hatton replied to Exiblade7's topic in General Discussion
I personally love the look of Zelda Wii U. There is also a reason that they went with the cel-shaded art style as opposed to the realistic art style. Wii U is actually a very powerful machine (It is slightly more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3), but realistic graphics can be extremely intensive to the system, as each texture has to be individually loaded every time it shows up. If you look at the giant world that is shown in the trailer, there is still A TON of detail. Each individual blade of grass has its own animation, and the "hand-painted" look makes it look like you are almost in a lifelike painting masterpiece. According to the E3 presentation, that entire world is explorable; all the way from the front area where Link and the monster are, to death mountain far off in the distance, to the castle in the valley, to the waterfall in the mountains, etc. By using a less hardware-intensive graphical style, it lets them create a much larger world. Think about Wind waker, the gamecube version STILL looks incredible, while many other games from the gamecube/ps2/xbox era look terrible and ridiculously outdated. Textures can be loaded once and reused much easier with a cel-shaded style, freeing up resources for more detail and content in the game. I think this could easily be the best zelda game yet. I can't wait. -
ZACHARY LEVI please

Hopefully this will be like 1.5 where they announced the art book and then later added the pre-order ps3 theme. Maybe they are saying a pin now and then will later add more. But I put art book as what I wanted. Not a pin... And even if it were Square enix online store exclusive, I would not switch my order from amazon, considering it is $8 for release-day shipping while its $10 for Square's 1-2 week shipping...

Jim Meskimen as the voice for Genie in future KH titles!
Nathan Hatton replied to Geotrix's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I agree... he sounds like Zachary Levi (chuck, thor: the dark world). Its missing the fullness in the lower part of genie's voice... eh i'll get used to it -
What did you think about HD 2.5 ReMIX's cover artwork?
Nathan Hatton replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week

What did you think about HD 2.5 ReMIX's cover artwork?
Nathan Hatton replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
For those complaining about the creepy characters... Kh2 final mix had some artwork where all the organization members looked pretty creepy, especially Demyx. Remember this?? Demyx actually has the same crazy eye thing going on. So I totally dig this artwork -

Kingdom Hearts III Final Mix+
Nathan Hatton replied to Joveus's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Well the 3DS screen resolution is 400 x 200 pixels. Over the size of the 3DS display, it gives a pretty high quality picture, giving the illusion that games like KH3D are HD quality. But if you were to watch those resources blown up to a 720p or 1080p display such as that of smartphone or tablet or computer, you will see that the game is very pixelated. Go watch KH3D stuff on youtube in full screen. The quality of the game gets worse as it gets bigger, because the assets are not in HD. If it were in HD, it would look just as good on a larger screen as a smaller screen. Another great comparison can be found by looking at the KH2.5 E3 trailer. After the portion on 2.5 and before the KH3 teaser, there are a few KH3D clips that flash across the screen. These have all been remastered in HD. compare them to the same scenes from the original game. colors, textures, everything was upgraded. -
Kingdom Hearts III Final Mix+
Nathan Hatton replied to Joveus's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
3d was not already HD at all. Not even close. It looks good on the 3DS screen but on an actual HD screen it's blocky as heck. And to agree with others, SE will do DLC. They probably would have done that in the first place if it had been available on PS2. -
Are you going to try to obtain all the trophies in HD 2.5 ReMIX?
Nathan Hatton replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
I will at least try! 1.5 is hard enough and 2.5 is supposed to be harder so we'll see haha -
This may be the toughest decision I make in 2014... I really can't say right now. KH2 and BBS are my favorite games. KH2 has my favorite control system with drive forms and stuff. But I've always wanted to play BBS on a big screen. Re:coded definitely won't be first but I'll probably take a break and watch it all in one setting.

What operating system do you have installed on your computer?
Nathan Hatton replied to Sora96's topic in Poll of the Week
I've got OS X Mavericks. Can't wait for Yosemite this fall! Handoff between my iPhone and Mac is gonna be sick. -
Great movie! I agree! I wish that the dinobots had been in it for more than the last 30 minutes though.
-
The scenes from BBS with the armor have only been momentarily featured in the KH2.5 trailers but it looks like there will be no capes. darn you PSP and your being unable to successfully produce cape physics...

Which Graphics do you prefer
Nathan Hatton replied to Connected's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Well the HUD stuff were mockups in both, that's pretty obvious because nothing changes. As far as the actual things going on, it doesn't look like pre-rendered footage. The E3 video from last year looked may have been pre-rendered, but the second one definitely looks like actual in-engine stuff.
