The thing is, it's certainly in the realm of possibility. A crucial part of the "BBS volume two" secret ending features Ansem, Xemnas, Young Xehanort and Master Xehanort - the key villains in 3D. It would also make the most sense, seeing as there's honestly very little room for more expansion on the Xehanort Saga that isn't a numbered title; to be honest, the side titles have been done to death in spite of their importance, and if anything 3D's ending and secret ending signify and focus on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Deny it all you want, guys, but the third main installment needs to be the top priority here at this point. Thematically, there's absolutely no need for another side game in the Xehanort arc. Besides, I've always interpreted BBS Vol. 2 as just a fancy name for Sora's aventures occurring within KH, considering that's a big part of what the cutscene focused on.

KH3D Question About YMX *Spoilers maybe*
Bizarro replied to Elijah Gravenhorst's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I was always under the impression that was just a symbolic parallel between Riku and Xehanort. Remember, KH1 Riku was a lot like Young Xehanort; both viewed the island as a prison, both resorted to using darkness, etc. -
KH3D Question About YMX *Spoilers maybe*
Bizarro replied to Elijah Gravenhorst's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
There's a duplicate of the BBS scene in 3D's secret ending though and he looks exactly the same. YMX from 3D is most likely the same age as the YMX flashback from BBS. They're the same person and have absolutely nothing to do with Terra. -
KH3D Which Xehanort is the strongest(Spoilers)
Bizarro replied to Master Xehanort1690's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
As of now, YMX. As of the final battle of KH3, probably MX himself. Terranort is almost certainly the weakest, though. All that trouble of getting a younger body and Xehanort had a difficult time maintaining control against Aqua. -
KH3D Question About YMX *Spoilers maybe*
Bizarro replied to Elijah Gravenhorst's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Don't you mean to say AX (Apprentice Xehanort) here? YMX in 3D looks exactly like he did on the island in the distant past. The only difference is that he's wearing an Organization cloak now. -
Yeah, that's a fairly logical way of looking at it. His heart might actually be tied to his original body in such a way that he's a sort of 'projection' of himself that eventually returns to his own body once the events in 3D are finished. Regardless, I think we'd need some sort of report translation to possibly shed light on this (if they even exist).
-
The 'difference' I assume you're talking about can be explained by the polygon count, as the YMX from 3D is in higher resolution. Remember, the face model from BBS was more of a placeholder than anything because his face was never shown in the game; in the secret ending of 3D, the scene from BBS is replicated when YMX says his introductory line ("This world is too small") and he's revealed to have the exact same face he always did. Not really a difference there, so I don't think he's using a different body. I could be wrong though. That's the biggest head-scratcher for me, which is ultimately why we desperately need translations for any reports that might be in 3D. I speculate it might be the Keyblade YMX uses that allows him to travel throughout time without losing his body, but there's not really any evidence to support that. Who knows?

KH3D Sora's age in dream drop distance.
Bizarro replied to MasterRevolver's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Yeah, Coded is the only spin-off in the truest sense of the word. One could skip the game entirely and miss almost nothing at all because the story mostly reiterates things we already know - namely the fact that the real Sora needs to save the people connected to him. The only thing remotely pivotal in the game is its secret ending. -
KH3D SPOILERS about their new cloths
Bizarro replied to replika13's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Plot-wise, I imagine the simplest explanation is that they were in a surreal dream world and that's that, so they revert to a younger age whenever they enter it. Concept-wise, Nomura has a boner for Sora's KH1 form and just really wanted an excuse to use it for the trillionth time. -

So any chance we'll be getting subs for part 2 of the ending today? -
KH3D [Spoilers] After defeating the first secret boss...
Bizarro replied to Moni_22's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Finally, a more straightforward and less clusterfiretruck way of getting the Ultima Weapon! Still looks like it'll be difficult though. -
KH3D I have (finally) accepted time travel but . . . [spoilers]
Bizarro replied to atheist123's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
While this may be true, my point is that it was clarified that the Xehanorts can't simply hang around until the time is nigh. They must all return to their original eras so that the general time flow isn't screwed up, meaning that Master Xehanort basically keeps them in reserve and pulls them out of their times when he requires their assistance. This leads me to believe that once they're defeated in KH3, they'll be forced to return to their original times rather than just die off. There are some Organization members, however, like Braig and Isa, who would belong in the present and thus have no need to return to a different time. -
KH3D *Major Spoilers* Plot Holes
Bizarro replied to legendkiller222's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I'm not bothering with any of the other questions, but this is a pretty silly question to ask. If Master Xehanort's golden/orange/yellow/whateverish eyes are naturally occurring, what's the firetrucking problem? Does Ansem the Wise HAVE to be connected to Xehanort just because he has a similar eye color? Think about this for a moment. You're letting something incredibly irrelevant bother you and calling it a "plot hole". -
KH3D I have (finally) accepted time travel but . . . [spoilers]
Bizarro replied to atheist123's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
We still have no clue how YMX cast aside his flesh or if he did so at all, but the "alternate reality" thing is indeed false. Both YMX and MX have made it clear that YMX would return to his own time once his job was finished in 3D (which is precisely what the secret ending confirmed), meaning he would grow up to become the MX we're familiar with. They're pretty much just the same person from different times. -
Perhaps the translators and owners of the game could have a collaboration for KH13's news coverage soon? I'm just very interested in finding out whether the confusing stuff will be explained. If not all of it is clarified, I'm hoping for some at the very least.

KH3D Lea and Isa (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Bizarro replied to woolfman1994's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
No, he/she used to be under the impression Saix's golden eyes etc. were just like Axel's marks, but they're not. Axel's marks don't have any similarity to Xehanort's physical characteristics, and 3D makes it obvious that the markings were just signs of him being a Nobody. I too was originally under the impression that Saix's changes were because of his transformation into a Nobody, but that's not the case at all. He's definitely a half-Xehanort. -
KH3D *S* Nomura Interview in Special Famitsu Issue
Bizarro replied to J. Severe's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The wry smile part made me chuckle. -
According to the translations, it's not that simple. The hearts of Nobodies were compared to "buds" that needed to be cultivated, which is a far cry from the hearts of a whole person. While it's true that they can grow hearts of their own and are capable of feeling emotion, I take it they're very much still distinctively a race/subrace of Nobodies. Xemnas, for example, uses the element of Nothingness and harbors control over the inhuman Sorcerer Nobodies despite having a heart himself. Axel obviously had a heart, but he always had those markings under his eyes until he became Lea again. Besides, YMX never splits off from MX, he returns to his time at the end of the game and grows into MX himself. The subtitles of the ending flat-out state this.
-
I don't expect this question to be answered any time soon, but since there are some on this forum who actually own the game, I'm curious as to whether there are any reports whatsoever? I feel that a "Young Xehanort Report" collection would almost certainly tie some loose ends up - such as how he could possibly time travel without discarding his body, or how he managed to transfer Ansem, Xemnas and everyone else through time into the present. These so-called "plot holes" are just too gargantuan to be left unanswered, methinks.

KH3D is this a new secret/mini boss?

I'm thinking Sephifrog is the Legendary Pokemon equivalent of a Dream Eater, lol No, seriously. -
KH3D Apprentice Xehanort? (Spoilers)
Bizarro replied to I love Kingdom Hearts's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
According to BBS, Terra is locked within or "eclipsed by" MX's heart. It's not hard to imagine that Terra would be within Master Xehanort; what I'm saying is that ultimately, appearances are irrelevant because AX and the most recent MX are one and the same as far as the body they use goes. As for MX looking old, perhaps he's a lot stronger now and merely has the appearance of his original self? I dunno. Now that I look back on it, Re:Coded's secret ending also supports the fact that it's MX. When Yen Sid is discussing how he'll reform, an image of MX shows up after Ansem and Xemnas' images appear, no sign of AX. -
KH3D Apprentice Xehanort? (Spoilers)
Bizarro replied to I love Kingdom Hearts's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think you've completely misinterpreted me and the game's dialogue. I know that the AX scene was a flashback and never said otherwise. Xemnas and Ansem did come from AX, but it seems that the reformed AX is now back in MX's form (at least according to translations). What YMX said was that the penultimate form of Xehanort would return, and he said this before MX appeared. In all likelihood, it's Master Xehanort. I've said this earlier and I'll say it again - Apprentice Xehanort doesn't hold as much relevance as people think and is simply the origin for Ansem SoD's motives plot-wise. We didn't see him anywhere in the game's current timeframe, and that's because he's now MX again. The Keyblade he holds should prove this, if anything. -
KH3D Apprentice Xehanort? (Spoilers)
Bizarro replied to I love Kingdom Hearts's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
If the translations are correct, it's Master Xehanort. Apprentice Xehanort was shown to regain his memories as Master Xehanort, and now he's changed back to his original form as well. I think the Keyblades they hold give this away, too. AX used MX's Keyblade, but none of MX's other incarnations do. The fact that MX has the Keyblade back means he's more or less the recombined Xehanort Yen Sid spoke of. -
KH3D *Spoilers* Kingdom Hearts 3D Video Collection
Bizarro replied to DChiuch's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Secret ending subs were nice, but honestly I'm more concerned about getting subs for the normal ending and the Young Xehanort vs. Riku segment. I think those two are equally as important.
