  1. The thing is, it's certainly in the realm of possibility. A crucial part of the "BBS volume two" secret ending features Ansem, Xemnas, Young Xehanort and Master Xehanort - the key villains in 3D. It would also make the most sense, seeing as there's honestly very little room for more expansion on the Xehanort Saga that isn't a numbered title; to be honest, the side titles have been done to death in spite of their importance, and if anything 3D's ending and secret ending signify and focus on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Deny it all you want, guys, but the third main installment needs to be the top priority here at this point. Thematically, there's absolutely no need for another side game in the Xehanort arc. Besides, I've always interpreted BBS Vol. 2 as just a fancy name for Sora's aventures occurring within KH, considering that's a big part of what the cutscene focused on.
  2. I was always under the impression that was just a symbolic parallel between Riku and Xehanort. Remember, KH1 Riku was a lot like Young Xehanort; both viewed the island as a prison, both resorted to using darkness, etc.
  3. There's a duplicate of the BBS scene in 3D's secret ending though and he looks exactly the same. YMX from 3D is most likely the same age as the YMX flashback from BBS. They're the same person and have absolutely nothing to do with Terra.
  4. As of now, YMX. As of the final battle of KH3, probably MX himself. Terranort is almost certainly the weakest, though. All that trouble of getting a younger body and Xehanort had a difficult time maintaining control against Aqua.
  5. Don't you mean to say AX (Apprentice Xehanort) here? YMX in 3D looks exactly like he did on the island in the distant past. The only difference is that he's wearing an Organization cloak now.
  6. Yeah, that's a fairly logical way of looking at it. His heart might actually be tied to his original body in such a way that he's a sort of 'projection' of himself that eventually returns to his own body once the events in 3D are finished. Regardless, I think we'd need some sort of report translation to possibly shed light on this (if they even exist).
  7. The 'difference' I assume you're talking about can be explained by the polygon count, as the YMX from 3D is in higher resolution. Remember, the face model from BBS was more of a placeholder than anything because his face was never shown in the game; in the secret ending of 3D, the scene from BBS is replicated when YMX says his introductory line ("This world is too small") and he's revealed to have the exact same face he always did. Not really a difference there, so I don't think he's using a different body. I could be wrong though. That's the biggest head-scratcher for me, which is ultimately why we desperately need translations for any reports that might be in 3D. I speculate it might be the Keyblade YMX uses that allows him to travel throughout time without losing his body, but there's not really any evidence to support that. Who knows?
  8. Yeah, Coded is the only spin-off in the truest sense of the word. One could skip the game entirely and miss almost nothing at all because the story mostly reiterates things we already know - namely the fact that the real Sora needs to save the people connected to him. The only thing remotely pivotal in the game is its secret ending.
  9. Plot-wise, I imagine the simplest explanation is that they were in a surreal dream world and that's that, so they revert to a younger age whenever they enter it. Concept-wise, Nomura has a boner for Sora's KH1 form and just really wanted an excuse to use it for the trillionth time.
  10. So any chance we'll be getting subs for part 2 of the ending today?
  11. Finally, a more straightforward and less clusterfiretruck way of getting the Ultima Weapon! Still looks like it'll be difficult though.
  12. While this may be true, my point is that it was clarified that the Xehanorts can't simply hang around until the time is nigh. They must all return to their original eras so that the general time flow isn't screwed up, meaning that Master Xehanort basically keeps them in reserve and pulls them out of their times when he requires their assistance. This leads me to believe that once they're defeated in KH3, they'll be forced to return to their original times rather than just die off. There are some Organization members, however, like Braig and Isa, who would belong in the present and thus have no need to return to a different time.
  13. I'm not bothering with any of the other questions, but this is a pretty silly question to ask. If Master Xehanort's golden/orange/yellow/whateverish eyes are naturally occurring, what's the firetrucking problem? Does Ansem the Wise HAVE to be connected to Xehanort just because he has a similar eye color? Think about this for a moment. You're letting something incredibly irrelevant bother you and calling it a "plot hole".
  14. We still have no clue how YMX cast aside his flesh or if he did so at all, but the "alternate reality" thing is indeed false. Both YMX and MX have made it clear that YMX would return to his own time once his job was finished in 3D (which is precisely what the secret ending confirmed), meaning he would grow up to become the MX we're familiar with. They're pretty much just the same person from different times.
