  1. If only they didn't feel like they written by a completely different character.
  2. I'm pretty anti-MX in terms of story. In terms of gameplay, however? You hit the nail on the head.
  3. The only climate change that exists... is winter-spring-summer-fall. I especially like Zexion's gimmick there (i.e., "He's an invincible god in his book dimension, so you have to beat him on the real field").
  4. Particularly if you've read the BBS novels. In the end, even he's a victim of the self-righteous old man, too.
  5. According to DDD, the Nobody names came from Xemnas subconsciously trying to mark the Organization as vessels. Hence why Braig and Isa, despite returning as Somebodies, still use their Nobody names ("Xigbar" and "Saix"); they didn't fail the vessel criteria. So even if it's a restored Lauriam, keeping the name "Marluxia" would mark him as one of Team Xehanort.
  6. Vanitas was kind of a given, but Marluxia was kind of a curveball.
  7. He looks like a Saints Row customization.
  8. Still doubting Terranort -- unless he simply doesn't have Terra(/Eraqus)'s Heart(s) anymore, which would solve that whole "weakness of trust" contradiction.
  9. Unpopular opinion: Utada's new KH3 theme sounds average at best, especially compared to Simple And Clean and Sanctuary.
  10. Mulan 2 had its enjoyable moments.
  11. Vince McMahon himself as The Riddler. Both men are stubborn and unnecessarily complicated.
  12. According to what we've been told (by the narrative, Xehanort's Reports, etc.), a pragmatic combination of "balance" and simple curiosity. But according to what we've actually been shown... yeah, just "DARKNESS!" and godhood and stuff.
  13. Exactly. It was "that glowy thing" in question.
  14. Since Heartless are simply mutated Hearts, her "Heartless" was merely that glowy thing that woke her up when Sora used "Ansem"'s Keyblade on himself.
  15. "DODGE!" -- Piccolo (DBZ Abridged)
  16. As Iamkingdomhearts1000 said -- in DDD, Xemnas was to Sora what "Ansem" was to Riku.
  17. On the contrary: YX explicitly called that MX "my most future self" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmczqq7GQ2s), and the 3D Ultimania explicitly called it "the revival of Master Xehanort's true body" (https://i.imgur.com/UHqQPKK.jpg). And as for "wouldn't live an additional 10 years," his old body's vanishing in BBS likely preserved it Stop-style (or something).
  18. I actually like Master Xehanort's design (dat jacket, tho), mannerisms (his reverse armfold, his hand gestures, how he sits in his Organization chair, etc.), and voice (R.I.P., Mr. Spock). Not to mention him raising mountains, spawning Keyblade twisters, and making peoplesicles. P.S.: Everything else about him (his Black Hole Sue effects on the story, his utterly stupid "time-traveling Horcruxes," etc.) still sucks, though.
  19. They'd just botch it twice in a row. Just like everything else they do nowadays.
  20. Less railroading. E.g., don't make the good guys hold the Idiot Ball for the umpteenth time; it just makes the bad guys look lucky instead of legitimate.
  21. Another recurring flaw I've noticed: It's hard to take these in-cutscene fights seriously whenever blatant railroading like that happens. P.S.: Credit where it's due -- at least 3D finally let Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Lea be more pragmatic (and thus more believable) in the Where Nothing Gathers part at the end.
  22. They're not intended Hate Sinks (but Ghetsis is), though. I think you mean "Unintentionally Unsympathetic."
  23. Personally, I can't tolerate a Hate Sink if they get away with everything (e.g.: Bendy from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Bill Hawks from Professor Layton And The Unwound Future, etc.). Sure, you're supposed to hate them... but it only works if they eventually suffer for the audience's catharsis; otherwise, they just leech enjoyment out of the story.
