YMX said MX is the revived Xehanort.
-
Last night I actually dreamed Luxord was a Darkness. No joke.

@devereaurx: I'm actually done in this thread, but I have to clear something before going: Why do you keep saying Eraqus lacks experience with Darkness? That's obvious, but irrelevant: His mastery of Light is what's implied to be aiding Terra. Also, that Riku theory's immensely possible -- it would certainly be far more creative than scenario #1. That's all -- peace out. P.S.: How's your username pronounced, anyway?

Doubtful, given Nomura's repeated emphasis on Eraqus's presence (Eraqus = Light, MX = Darkness, Light and Darkness cancel one another, etc.). If you're right, then Nomura just wasted everyone's time.

BBS Ultimania: -- Was Master Xehanort the one who delivered the final blow to Master Eraqus? Nomura: Because it was necessary to avoid showing such a cruel scene, it's difficult to tell from the presentation, but that's right. Terra saw this happen right in front of his eyes, so when he realised at the Keyblade Graveyard that Master Xehanort intends to harm Ventus and Aqua, this drives him to anger, saying, "Not only my father Eraqus..."* As an aside, although he says "my father", and we see from Eraqus' words that he thinks of Terra like a son, Terra and Eraqus are not actually father and son. Also, in his final moments Eraqus falls towards Terra - an important meaning is hidden in this scene. -- In the secret event Xehanort says “The heart that resides within Terra’s heart.” Who’s heart is it? Nomura: I can’t say just yet, but I’ve set it so that you’ll know who it is. Listen to Xehanort’s words closely, and read his reports carefully. I think you’ll know who it is then. DDD Ultimania: -- What happened to Terra's heart and body? Nomura: In this game, Master Xehanort does not appear in the form of Terra-Xehanort when he transferred his heart, but as the old man he was before he took control of Terra's body. During the revival, what happened to Terra's body, and Terra's heart that was in opposition to Xehanort's control? In Kingdom Hearts, Birth by Sleep, it is to be considered that it was thought the whereabouts of the heart of Terra's master, Eraqus rested within his body.

@Xaon - That's an arrow indicating the 2nd quote's a reply to the 1st.

Indeed; it's the only way we're ever going to understand the need for Balance. IMO, MX's deeds with Darkness are just asking for someone/something of Light to finally snap and retaliate.
-
^This, preferably even in KH3 itself. Aqua would make a very sympathetic one, given how Darkness empowered MX to screw her and her friends over. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=-twUCEfzrDk

And it's because her and her friends' "lives have been torn apart" that she may finally snap and go the Eraqus way. She's only human, and thus I doubt she can take much more. However, that wouldn't guarantee "a sad/bittersweet ending"; it's very likely her friends would eventually manage to talk her down.
-
Aqua may end up becoming an Eraqus-like Woobie Destroyer Of Worlds in a future game (or even KH3 itself), given how Darkness (and BBS's plot) screwed her and her friends over.

Text *BRAINSTORMING* Durarara! FanFic: "Stranger In Ikebukuro"
Smithee posted a topic in Creative Media
Nothing concrete yet, just a rough summary/synopsis:Shizuo Heiwajima is targeted by a mysterious cowboy-themed vigilante who uses intense speed-based techniques to counter Shizuo's superhuman strength with surprising effectiveness. But what are the vigilante's reasons for attacking him? -

In this version, Greedo shoots first. -
Sora will always be the main protagonist of KH; Nomura said so himself. However, Xehanort will no longer be the main antagonist after KH3; therefore, we can definitely speculate on who his replacement will be.I personally want an Eraqus-like antagonist, because face it: do you really want to just fight Darkness for the umpteenth time? And does having all the enemies be Dark sound like pro-Balance incentive to you?

KHBbS Whose ending was more sad? Ventus, Aqua, or Terra?
Smithee replied to marii94's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Possible consequence(s) in KH3: She loses respect for Balance and becomes more like Eraqus, believing if she'd only worked harder to eradicate Darkness, then things might've turned out differently. If you ask me, Aqua's currently the best candidate for future Light-antagonist. And I'd sympathize with her, so very much. -

I want a Light-based threat in KH3. -
KHBbS Whose ending was more sad? Ventus, Aqua, or Terra?
Smithee replied to marii94's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The stress of ^this may push her to attempt to use KH for revenge on all Darkness in KH3. Irony: In trying to "tear down this tyranny of Light", MX inadvertently creates a second Eraqus. -
The finale, however, was so dark that even Edgar Allen Poe would say, "GEEZ! LIGHTEN UP, WILL YOU?!"

Hopefully the next villain will be Light-based and sympathetic; the exact opposite of Xehanort, and a moral dilemma for Sora & Co. Ideally a formerly Balance-based person (like Mickey and Yen Sid) who ended up getting horribly screwed over by Darkness (most likely due to Xehanort; I wouldn't be surprised) and now follows Eraqus's teachings to the letter. And unlike Xehanort, this person treats his/her followers with Sora-like respect, furthering the moral grayness. Ironic, given that Xehanort wanted to "tear down this tyranny of Light and reorganize the Worlds around the Darkness which then creeps back in", yet ended up convincing people that Darkness really is bad after all.

Leonard Nimoy's voice is pretty much the only sympathetic thing about MX.
