  1. I've never once seen anything confirming that as canon, and MX obviously would've been the one forcibly removing them (just like "Ansem" did Riku, creating yet another parallel between him and Terra). Plus, it would make sense for that to be the start of him trying to create empty husks. Unless you honestly expect me to believe that he has to go through all of that trouble to make the others empty, yet is perfectly okay being stuck with both Mr. Lingering Will and Mr. "Light Is Absolute."
  2. There's an easy explanation that can both make ^that perfectly plausible and not render the "Blank Points + Eraqus" business a complete waste of writing: Terra's and Eraqus's hearts went elsewhere entirely at some point. It would also fit Nomura's hints in the Ultimania, and it would also make sense for MX to remove resistance entirely instead of struggling against it (like when he knocked Sora out before trying to possess him).
  3. MX being the most convoluted villain I've ever seen (and I've seen my fair share of anime and JRPGs), and the complete lack of clarification about Terra's and Eraqus's hearts.
  4. Except I wasn't referring to the vessel thing, only the heart-engulfing thing. 2 specifically different things.
  5. False alarm on the hiatus time for me.

  6. Hiatus time for me yet again.

  7. In stasis somewhere until DDD. And yes, the Ultimania confirms that's his original body.
  8. And as Blank Points shows us, Eraqus's heart prevents that, not to mention that the Ultimania flat-out says that it's the original MX.
  9. Provided I don't jump ship after KH3 -- thanks, convoluted and depressing storyline -- I would love something without any retcons, Villain Sues, etc., for once.
  10. Because the Darkness has a s****y track record. Just because it's paranoia doesn't automatically make it wrong. Sora was also unconscious, so willpower was irrelevant.
  11. That's what happens when you keep retconning everything to make your Villain Sue look all-powerful---sooner or later, you lose track of character consistency.
  12. Especially Terra and Eraqus. After all that buildup in both Blank Points and the interviews, if they don't deliver something epic---or anything at all, for that matter---I will take my KH3 disk and go AVGN all over it.
  13. That it finally redeems the overall plot after the clusterfiretruck that was DDD.
  14. MX only killed Eraqus from behind after he'd already been worn down by Terra. And if anger leads to Darkness, then how come Princesses like Kairi and Belle get angry at times?
  15. The story, even with how bad and shark-jumpy it's gotten lately (*Cough!*DDD.*Cough!*).
  16. I had to euthanize my Pekingese named Zoey last year, so I know the feels.
  17. MX being even more of a Villain Sue and/or getting off too quickly and painlessly, TAV being unnecessarily kicked down even more, a predictable final battle, and/or yet another Bittersweet/Downer Ending instead of a closure-filled one like KH2's.
  18. Eraqus. He technically gave us our first Light-based antagonist, and he was actually a sympathetic one, IMO---the "tyranny of Light" honestly seems much preferable over MX's "Balance," and him killing Ven and Terra would've been a mercy compared to what ended up happening to them instead---and he even redeemed himself by "seeding" Terra's Heart before MX could.
  19. Personally, the most it should do Star-Wars-wise is just a bonus battle with Darth Vader or something, not unlike with Sephiroth in KH1 and KH2.
  20. KH2 had the most closure and didn't give us a final "Firetruck you" for once.
