Mysterious Figure has time management skills, being able to travel at will between times, that would show that Master Xehanort had planned for many years the change of young body. The fight with Mysterious Figure would be equivalent to Sora fight Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix, a simple test to get information on the players and can use it in the future. And the result was that Terra chose as sheath (Terranort).
