KH3D Kingdom Hearts 3D in Famitsu Weekly: Scans & Interview
Alex*Sora*89 replied to DChiuch's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Ya know folks, I'm excited and all but... "because they are not keyblade wielders"? Are you serious, Nomura? That's a bit of a bee-ess excuse if you ask me. The real reason is that this is a handheld title! That's why! KH1 and KH2 had Donald and Goofy as party members, but no handheld title did for some reason (the only reason Re:Coded did was because it was a thankfully replayable one-time gimmick, with Sora lacking his keyblade no less). Sorry for the rant though - as I'm just as excited as usual for everything else. -
The Keyblade got its "Tron Lines" (see link below) in Space Paranoids back in Kingdom Hearts II, so it's only natural The Grid is going to do the same. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TronLines By the way... it's weird: I think I just got wet and don't know why. Must be because of LIGHTSPEED LOCALISATION!!! :-D

I'm checking the site all the time, constantly clicking on "update [the page]". That should give you folks an idea about how ecstatic about this game I am. To put that in perspective, after playing Ocarina Of Time 3D for a long time, patiently waiting for Super Mario 3D Land to come out, with Sonic Generations and Mario Kart 7 quickly following suit (yeah, a roughly-three-month gap between OOT3D and SM3DL, only for the other two titles to come out within two weeks - go figure). At least, now that they're finally out too, the GBA ambassador games should finally help me waiting for KH3D, despite if they came out before 3D Land, they'd have made the wait for that title that much easier. Oh well - until KH3D, I guess it's gonna be a MinishCapApalooza for me then! :-D (Of course I know the GBA titles are masterpieces on their own right.) Waaaaaaaaaait a minute... short off-topic sentence: what about this idea - namely, starting a petition for a GBA Virtual Console re-release for Chain Of Memories once Nintendo finally decides to allow the GBA to be officially a part of the VC?

Which downloadable game store have you spent the most money in?
Alex*Sora*89 replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
Playstation Store, despite it is currently the best example of why being an European customer - like me, still waiting for Spyro the Dragon - essentially sucks: http://www.vg247.com/2012/02/29/discrepancy-between-us-and-eu-ps-stores-blamed-on-licensing-and-localization/ -

Gotta hold on... gotta hold on... gotta... *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH* *starts running randomly* -
Sometimes, when sadistic choices are forced upon us. For example, my girlfriend told me she played Fable 2 and had a choice among various options, and all of them would have made someone suffer. Nowadays, it's been established that people love things when they turn sad. I disagree with them. Today's world, by itself, is already sad enough as-is. We don't need to pollute fiction with our own angst. Or at least... well, it's difficult to express it in words, but I hope you guys got my point.

KH3D Kingdom Hearts 3D promotional material: Back of game box
Alex*Sora*89 replied to DChiuch's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I actually went one step further than Liz: I have one single, "current" save file on the slot-1 Memory Card for Kingdom Hearts II, while I have a save file for each single plot point, Disney-related world or otherwise, in the slot-2 MMC. In other words, I can come back to, say, Ping-era Land Of The Dragons whenever I can. I did the same - with memory cards switched, of course - for Kingdom Hearts I. -

@ Xemnas is # 1: Of course it is, even aside from KH news - if only for the crapload of gifs, including yours, that I'm saving on my laptop. YAY! -

KH3D Kingdom Hearts 3D set for July 27, 2012 release in Europe
Alex*Sora*89 replied to DChiuch's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
@ lizzie1238: Sorry liz, but you're a bit misguided on that one. Here in Europe, we usually get everything last, or nothing at all in the worst cases. For example, Super Mario RPG's only official European release was two years ago, about fourteen years after the original release. Final Fantasy VI did the same for its non-remake SNES release as part of the Virtual Console. Super Smash Bros Brawl came out almost four months after its NA release (so much that the first Smash Bros getting released on the European VC almost seems an apology by Nintendo), and Re:Chain Of Memories didn't even come out at all here. By this pattern, be sure that KH3D will come out in the U.S. first! (And no, a flame war wasn't my intention - I hate trolls, and I'd hate to be one with my second post on the site!) Also, sorry for the slightly off-topic post. -
Hi there, folks! After weeks of lurking, I've finally decided to join the site (mostly thanks to the http://kh13.com/forum/topic/30595-kingdom-hearts-3d-set-for-july-27-2012-release-in-europe/ update, and to how ecstatic it made me)! I'll make it quick: my name is Alex, I'm Italian, and a Kingdom Hearts fanboy (hence my nickname, that I use basically everywhere) since 2004. I first found out about the series in 2002, when the weekly Italian Mickey Mouse comic book made a 6-page special about the first game. Since I didn't own a Playstation2 back in the day, I went "meh". If I only knew... two years later, I met an otaku classmate, and we hit it off almost immediately by talking about Crash Bandicoot (and about how weird the ending to the Pinstripe Potoroo boss fight in that series' first game was, for those curious). Then he introduced me to the series by talking about Sephiroth, Ansem (Ansem SOD) and everything else, quickly making me more and more curious about it. Eventually, I bought Chain Of Memories (I DID own a GBA, thankfully), and, despite it being a sequel to the first game, I somehow managed to understand the story. Flash-forward to 2006, where I hoped to find a special offer PS2 as well as a copy of Kingdom Hearts II. I've been lucky enough to accomplish both that and to find the last copy of the first KH game where I expected it the least. Since then, I never missed a single entry in the series (Kingdom Hearts III will probably need a PS3, so that's gonna be a problem...), and KH3D is not going to be an exception (I'm a 3DS Ambassador if you're wondering). I've followed the KH3D news on this site on a daily basis, and that, united to the forum comments' informality as well as a slightly misguided comment by Lizzie on the fourth page of the aforementioned update (that I'm going to answer as soon as I finish writing this one) convinced me to join the members' ranks. Sadly, I have the tendency to disappear from forums after a while, but I hope this time it will be different. That's about all I could say about me in a nutshell, but if you're looking forward to know more about me, here's a link from my TvTropes page. You can blame it on me if you were planning to do anything else today but were sidetracked from that site - as the latter is known to be very, very addicting. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tropers/AlexSora89 See you around, fellow Keyblade wielders!
