Gotta say, I'm not liking how the combat seems to barely function... and overall seems be very.... DDDish. What was wrong with the good old days when Sora could have flowing combat with enemies that satisfyingly reacted to your every attack? Negative nacying aside, this looks fantastic, even in its early state ... gotta love that part where they zoom in on completely default Donald for no reason! I'm loving the overall stylishness and ease at which Sora uses his attacks though, now I just kinda wonder... are those rides going to be a major part of the gameplay? If so, that seems almost exactly like Disney meddling... but you know what? Sora versus Xehanort, final battle It's a Small World ride just imagine "This world... is just to small"

There's plenty of focus on Kingdom Hearts. I mean, they release one KH game every year. What more do you want ? I personally don't think FF has gone on for to long. Just that some FF games are just better than others.

So ? If the player like mashing X and healing most of the way , shouldn't he/she get the option to do so ? The reason why mashing the attack button doesn't work in BBS is because of the combo system is crap. The longest combo you can throw is slow 3 hit combo, which gives plenty of time for the enemy to attack you. Just because mashing the attack button doesn't work, doesn't mean you don't mash any other button. In BBS, you can mash the dodge roll button, not even look at the screen and be sure to not get hit . In KH2, the battle system is built around combos so of course you're gonna be pressing X a lot but the devs added plenty of abilities on the square button for you to alternate between X and square.Which makes for lengthy powerful attacks. If you didn't use them that's your loss because you get plenty of powerful finishers on it. At least in KH2, they give you the option not to button mash. It's not my fault most people don't choose it.

The bosses in BBS do not require any strategy at all to be defeated.Just spam your strongest commands. They require even less strategy since no command interact with each other. Even KH2 required you to use a little bit of strategy if you wanted to activate the reaction command, and since combos and magic interacted with each other in KH2 it added a lot more depth than anything you did in BBS.

To the people saying KH2 is a mashfest (it's not) or PRESS TRIANGLE TO WIN. (which is not true, by the way) Maybe If you equipped the square abilities and alternated between X , SQUARE and magic you would find yourself button mashing a lot less. Even less than in BBS.

I really hope they'll try at least. Nomura designs gameplay mechanics that tie to the story like Flowmotion and Drive Forms. The team give ideas for what the gameplay can be like and Nomura approves or refuses. Funny story about Flowmotion is that when Nomura presented it the the team that made 3D, they really didn't like it. I read it in KH3D Ultimania.

I just prefer the Tokyo team because their battle system and design are just infinitely better in my opinion. -Enemies flinch -In their games there's no bullshit like command leveling or petting dream eater that make replaying the game a chore. -The Tokyo team's boss design is just better. Ask anyone. -The games the Osaka team make are more watch and wait(seriously commands are like reaction commands and people keep bitching they make Kingdom Hearts 2 easy) than finding the most useful strategy to defeat an enemy. In the games developed by the Osaka team: -Enemies and bosses don't flinch -Replaying the games is just a chore (Especially DDD) -No keyblade combos -No magic combos -No fluidity between game mechanics -Boss design sucks compared to the tokyo team's The Osaka team proved that they can make good handheld games, they didn't prove that the can make good console games. Handheld games are completely different from console games. The reason people complain about the Osaka team developing kh3 is not because they made the handheld games and people hate them. It's because Versus XIII was supposed to be what the gameplay of kh3 would look like and now Nomura said the the gameplay would be similar to KH3D's, which honestly is just BBS with flowmotion. BBS 2.0 if you will.

Dearly Beloved for KH3

I want the KH3 version of Dearly Beloved to have the perfect amount of piano and violin. A mix between KH2's and BBS's version. -
1. Command Menu 2. KH2's fighting style 3. Getting abilities by leveling up 4. Big worlds like 3D but not as empty as them. More like KH1 5. KH2's combo system 6. Kairi playable in the tutorial 7. Sora Donald and Goofy ( I missed them together so much ! ) 8. Interactivity and fluidity between the game mechanics. Not like BBS or 3D. More like KH2's keyblade combos and magic comboability 9. Drive Forms 10. Reation Commands 11. Of course a wonderful ending.

Final Fantasy XV entered full production in 2011 (that's why we got a trailer that year). So technically,it's been in developpement for 3 years. If you don't believe me, check the wikipedia page. -
