  1. Gosh, has it been three years all ready? Time flies.
  2. Origins had a whole lot of bugs when it first launched, the most notable being a glitch that literally prevented you from beating the game. Most of these have been patched, but that's one of the main reasons why reviews were kind of hard on it. As for the game itself, it's fine. The problem, if you want to call it a problem, is that it doesn't really do anything different from Arkham City. It's still fine and fun, but doesn't really give you that much of a new experience. Also, the story's a bit of a disappointment in some aspects, but it's still far from being bad.
  3. Since 1997. Also agree that Cloud's adventures in a dress are kind of important to the mood and character. It didn't used to always be about brooding and moping. It's right up there with Cid demanding we drink our kindly-worded tea. It's silly, and in a game full of existential crisis, that's kind of what we need.
  4. Every time Anakin fails at his jump, I always picture the Price Is Right fail music.

  5. Dark Souls. Turns out, Ansem was right: we are all born from Darkness.
  6. I'd knock over a lemonade stand and then taunt the kids for three hours. That way, I'd still be in character.
  7. Oooh, good question. I feel a Robin Hood world would lend itself to cool swashbuckling fights, but Jungle Book has Shere Khan... Probably going to have to opt for Robin Hood, though.
  8. Final Fantasy VI, because I know what a great game is to come after that. Watching Terra, Biggs, and Wedge trudge through the snow while the music plays always brings a smile to my face.
  9. Lost Sinner is one of the Daughters of Chaos. Opinions?

  10. That is the hardest I've laughed for a long time.
  11. Who would win in a fight between Ornstien and Artorias?

    1. Klonoa the Dream Traveler

      Klonoa the Dream Traveler

      I have to say Artorias.

Ornstein is pretty weak lore wise and gameplay.

    2. Col.Random

      Col.Random

Artorias was said to be "unmatched with a greatsword".

Ornstein, on the other hand, specializes in slaying dragons and people have seen first hand which of the two is a way better fighter

  12. That kinds of just adds on to my point, though. There's no reason to play, because everything is going to have the same end result.
  13. There is no incentive. It's what makes the entire plan of Xehanort's utterly worthless as far as gameplay goes, because the best way to beat him is to literally not play.
  14. I found the first game to be deep, with a lot of room for interpretation and discovery of meaning. Since then, it's become somewhat more straightforward. Remember: there's a difference between deep and complicated.
  15. The head canon that I like to enjoy is that Ansem isn't entirely on board, what with giving himself his own name and and the start of DDD, denying that he was Xehanort. It's a long shot, but I like to think about it.
  16. I hope so. It would be nice to have interesting and colorful villains to off set the perpetual bore of team Xehanort and his endless taunt-alogues.
  17. He actually meant that it's a shammy, in that you use Xion's keyblade to help wash dishes.
  18. I don't want Riku or Terra to die, not because I like them, but because I don't want the fanbase to martyr them any more than they already have.
  19. It means people can't think of something clever to say, so they resort to emoticons.
  20. Costume design is the thing I care about the least, so it makes little difference to me.
