  1. Yes, but Kingdom Hearts isn't a traditional RPG. It doesn't try to be a final fantasy game and it's easy to see why having crowded environments wouldn't fit with the battle system. Also, what I meant to express is that it's okay to like FF better, but comparing the exploration of an action game like KH to a turn based RPG isn't really fair. On a side note, Final Fantasy 10 felt pretty hollow at times in my opinion. Was there a specific Kingdom hearts game you thought was especially weak in terms of world density and interactivity? I thought 1 and 2 did quite well given their limitations.
  2. Kingdom hearts is what you make it. If you choose to just get treasure chests and fight heartless, that's fine; however, there is a TON of replay value. Side quests are extensive and plentiful in KH1 and the amount of extra content in KH2 FM is mind boggling. Days had so much to explore and complete, I couldn't even handle it. From time trials to mini-games to secret bosses, the Kingdom Hearts series more than compensates for its differences from traditional RPG exploration
  3. Well it does make sense given how little we actually know about it. I'm guessing when we actually get to the year of confirmed release and square is dropping hype bombs all over the place it will move up the list. FFXV is nearing completion and we have more than one gameplay trailer that looks amazing.
  4. I think Riku's style just felt more natural in the hands of the Osaka team. I don't know why, but I just hated the way Sora played in DDD.
  5. The trouble with DDD is that the enemies hardly stagger at all without flowmotion and even then it's hard to get an opening without spamming powerful ranged commands. I've said this before, DDD feels like playing a faster version of Re:Com, but without the number card battle system to make it work.
  6. Who cares. I'll be dead by then anyway.
  7. Heeey I used to use that trick for my fat ps2 all the time, then after a couple years, that stopped working and I got a skinny. I haven't had problems since.
  8. Hey he's right. The railing in front of the accessory shop is flat for flowmotion instead of chained like in KH1. Also the door on the back only has one star on it while the original had two. That is definitely from KH3D. I'm calling it. There is definitely going to be something done with the game this year.
  9. With patience and many cartwheels. Also with once more and second chance. With once more and second chance, all things are possible.
  10. IGN's review- "Meh, It was too repetitive" 3/10
  11. Watching that actually helped me stop hyperventilating...
  12. Wow, the point was to laugh about how hypocritical people can be when they're whining about inequality and unfair treatment. Seriously, equal opportunity really isn't an issue anymore.
  13. A game called Zone of the Enders nailed this concept. The mechanic works by having the character's weapons clash and push each other away dynamically when both attack at the same time. If one's attack is a split second slower than the other's, they take damage and the fight goes on. So it would be basically like how Sora can block some attacks just by swinging his keyblade, but with more fluid motion.
  14. I agree and disagree with some of the things in this video. I still think it's rude to sit on your phone while you're eating dinner with someone or in the company of others, but I don't think people are becoming as anti-social as this guy seems to believe. Also, I love the connection that I can have with people without ever meeting them face to face. I have been in a happy relationship for a year now and I never would have had the courage to even say hello to my now girlfriend if it hadn't been for facebook chat. Now I have no idea how many hours we've spent in each other's real company without the assistance of social media. Technology isn't evil and I'm sure people will balance it out with real interaction just fine.
  15. Even if the non expressive models of the faces do show up, they will be much higher quality than ever before. The second KH3 trailer we saw showed only gameplay and Sora's face still looked detailed and well defined. They may still use the default face in KH3, but I doubt we will be able to recognize when they do.
  16. I've read the studies. My point was that not all gossip is good for you. The kind of gossip Villi1997 is talking about, someone going behind his back to say that he is annoying, is not the kind of gossip that is beneficial to society of personal wellness. Hey, funny coincidence, my father went to college at U.C. Berkeley.
  17. Actually divisive and harmful gossip, such as talking smack behind someones back, is not good for the human brain at all. Just because a lot of people do it doesn't automatically make it okay.
