  1. Apologies if this has been touched upon in the past, I was looking through the first few pages of this board but didn't see any topic that answered my question. I just watched the new Dream Drop Distance trailer having not played Birth By Sleep, and was a bit annoyed at the end that they casually threw in a little spoiler about Vanitas. I know it's my nobody's fault but mine for not playing Birth By Sleep yet - and I intend to remedy this by the end of the year so that I can be better informed - but has anyone ever felt that maybe the Kingdom Hearts trailers give a bit too much away? An example for me was watching one of the old trailers for 358/2 Days having played the game and seeing that they used footage from one of the last cutscenes in the game. I know it didn't give too much away but if I'd seen it before playing Days, at the back of my head I'd be aware that it hadn't been played yet, so if anything happened that made it look like that cutscene didn't happen, I'd know that it would be resolved and might dull the impact of some events. Tl;dr - Do you think that Kingdom Hearts trailers show more story elements than they should?
  2. Wasn't so much a fan of the restrictions of the stat matrix and feeling like I was going through the motions of KH1 with blocks, but I did enjoy the battle system and the last few cutscenes, and also the fact that this was the first time I'd had a chance to run around bits of Castle Oblivion
  3. Not a fan of the fact that once you put a chip in, it was there for good, especially when new sectors opened up and I realised that rubbish chips were going to be doubled instead of better ones Much preferred 358/2 Days' system - you could constantly choose different panels to go in the grid / challenge yourself by not putting in level chips etc.
  4. Yeah, never really been a big fan of the PSP, only games I'd probably get for it if I was able to get one would be Birth By Sleep and whatever Tales of... games were available for it I've only been able to find them for £60 minimum Sucks because I got my PS2 mostly for Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 and even buying both games and the console didn't get me anywhere near £60! And thanks for the warm welcome guys!
  5. Definitely agree with Ruler of the Sky, Leech Grave, Dustflier and the Engine one. Did anyone get annoyed at the very very first Zip Slasher? I refused to come back later and fought it first time, it was just annoying chipping in with one or two hits and then Marluxia knocks him out of reach then you've got him down to a couple of health bars, he hit's you with one combo and you have to start all over again
  6. I suppose Roxas JUST wins my vote, but gotta give some love to Larxene, Lexaeus (sp?) and Axel. Larxene was one of my favourites in multiplayer, and I just really liked her character in the cutscenes of Re:CoM. Same applies to Axel Not really that great at playing as Lexaeus though but I still like him, kind of gutted that almost all of the Castle Oblivion members didn't get any screen time in KH2 (unless you count the extra battles in the final mix...)
  7. Hey everyone, I'm kaydonesker Found this site while I was playing through 358/2 days again and it encouraged me to finally finish re:coded and get back into Kingdom Hearts, so thanks everyone! Looking forward to Dream Drop Distance, the day when I'm able to play Birth By Sleep (PSPs are still JUST out of my price range ) and talking to everyone here as well
  8. There's definitely some things they could add. At the very least they could put in the Pinnochio's world sections, and there were images of Hades for Olympus Coliseum. The way Pinnochio's World was described in days sounded interesting at the very least.
