  1. Avoided here for so long so that Dream Drop Distance locations would be a suprise...only to find out that the ones I knew about were pretty much all the locations anyway!!! Ah well...

  2. Thanks for encouraging me to actually log in to my account again for the first time in who knows how long! It's about 3 in the morning and this has already made my day, cheers
  3. Really liking all the musical topics in this forum I tend to think of favourite artists or bands as ones I can listen to regardless of mood, so they would be: Jimmy Eat World, City Sleeps, Robyn and maybe Sara Bareilles. Maybe. A lot of bands I really like, but not quite on the level of these ones, at least for me.
  4. Used to go all the time, sadly not so much anymore...stupid dissertation... Depends on the bands or artists, for the most part I like them, but sometimes they're let down by the crowds Alter Bridge, Death From Above 1979, Jimmy Eat World, OneRepublic, Twin Atlantic, Biffy Clyro, Circa Survive... I could go on but I'll resist or I'll spam the page
  5. Grah, only 700 words of an essay and then I'm free!

  6. Yeah, I'd probably say it's my least favourite of the series - doesn't mean it didn't have its moments, just not for me. Preferred Day's leveling system because it wasn't as much of a nightmare to change panels; free roaming wasn't that big a deal for me because it was places I'd already been to (although going through C.O. was fun because I haven't had the opportunity to play Re:chain of Memories / Chain of Memories); "multiplayer" was a disappointment after the Mission Mode in Days. Despite that though, enjoyed the battle system (hadn't played BBS at that point) and liked the fact that they at least tried to liven things up in the worlds with turn based systems and 2D platforming, but I wouldn't play it again. tl;dr Not a fan of Re:Coded, I like Days more
  7. I would have liked to see Pinocchio's (sp?) world, if only because of how it was described for Days. Castle Oblivion would have been fun, same with Destiny Islands. In an ideal world where I could feasibly pick any world, I'd choose Lilo & Stitch and Pocahontas, but they're most likely being saved for the "more important" titles in Kingdom Hearts
  8. Try a bit of Alter Bridge? Couldn't find the song I wanted to post on youtube so I'll just settle for this one:
  9. Welcome to the forums (again ) 358/2 Days was my favourite KH game so far, good choice!
  10. "I don't know what I'm supposed to write in this thing!" - Roxas, 358/2 days
  11. You fail at kingdom hearts when you think keyblades are something you use just to bully people around. Or: You fail at kingdom hearts when you get stuck at the opening cinematic.
  12. Right now I have a lot of things to do for this Friday, but even with looming deadlines just can't get myself to do them. Last year I would at least get a rush of motivation the night before and get things done, but now that doesn't really happen, and even if it did I want to be able to get what needs to be done out of the way sooner. So I'm wondering what you guys on the forums do to get yourself to do work?
  13. Watched Digimon and Yugioh when I was younger, but the anime that got me into anime would have to be Death Note. Loved it.
  14. Apparently Tetsuya Nomura has said that he looks like Sora because Sora's heart connected with Ventus near the beginning of the game, and if someone else had connected with Ventus, Vanitas would look like that person. It also said before that he looked a bit like a humanoid heartless, but I can't find the original source. As for why he didn't just take Ventus' appearence, I guess they couldn't share faces? Not too sure, but that's my guess
  15. Finally got my hands on and finished Birth By Sleep...still confused about bits and pieces but I'm sure I'll understand one day...

  16. While that's true, it's important to remember that DDD takes place in the world of sleep/dreams, where there's a few things that wouldn't make sense in the "normal" world (characters not remembering Sora, characters that currently shouldn't be alive being...alive ). My view is that Vanitas isn't part of Ventus' heart anymore, he was separated from him when Xehanort took the darkness out and Vanitas wasn't able to merge back with Ventus, otherwise the X-Blade would have been fully completed, rather than partially at the end.
  17. Thanks guys, I was taking it a bit too literally at that point because of what I thought I knew about Aqua's character, but what you guys said makes sense
  18. She only met him at Castle of Dreams though http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png And as far as I recall she didn't hear anything bad about Terra at Dwarf Woodlands either. Unless she learned bits and pieces offscreen, but that seems a bit odd.
  19. My problem was more that she implied she'd seen him do multiple things that put him close to the darkness, when she'd only heard about one. If she had at least heard that he'd agreed to help the queen in Dwarf Woodlands then I wouldn't have had a problem with what she'd said, if that makes sense
  20. ??? First time I've heard something like that! I just always assumed they had two separate bodies. Ventus and Vanitas had two bodies after all...
  21. Eh? Roxas and Sora exist at the same time for a year in separate bodies, how can they both have the one body?
  22. So yeah, spoilers up to the end of Radiant Garden on Terra and Aqua's stories. After you beat the Trinity Armour there's the cutscene where Aqua ends up saying that she's seen what Terra has done in the three visited worlds so far and that he shouldn't put himself so close to the darkness. When I was playing as Terra I thought "fair enough, in Enchanted Dominion and Dwarf Woodlands it can be twisted to make it seem like he's messing with darkness." But then I played through Aqua's story later on and the only indication she had of what Terra was doing was when she was talking to him at Castle of Dreams where he wasn't doing anything connected with darkness, and hearing from Maleficent that he'd taken Princess Aurora's heart, but she didn't believe him. Am I missing something? Where did she suddenly see ALL the things he'd supposedly done when she only heard about one of them? Sorry if it sounds like I'm nitpicking, it was just something that bugged me playing through the game, and any thoughts would be appreciated
  23. They actually showed a bit of Re:Coded's secret ending in one of the trailers... It makes sense what you said before about there not being too many cutscenes to draw upon for the Days trailer, and that can definitely apply to Re:Coded's trailer as well. Here's hoping Dream Drop Distance has enough cinematics that they don't have to take stuff from closer to the end this time! EDIT: Beaten to the punch To be fair, the Re:Coded trailer only tells you a certain character features in the game.
  24. True, in the back of my head I cross off things I've seen in trailers which has ruined things for me before, but I guess that's not everybody Just some of the stuff in that trailer looked important, though I guess I was a bit annoyed about the Vanitas thing reminding me how important Birth By Sleep seems to be to the story and I STILL HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET!! /rant I agree with you, but do the trailers not tend to show story elements from near the start of the game? I was just a bit concerned that if they were willing to put one of the cutscenes from the end of Days in one of their trailers, what's stopping them from doing it in DDD? To be fair, I realise I am being a bit paranoid, and the first half of the DDD trailer did hype me up for the game, I just think that some of the Kingdom Hearts trailers show story elements a bit too recklessly.
