Zane's frenzy urged him to charge at the girl, his arm shaking with the desire to skewer her on his lance, he fought it down, and lowered his lance. Zane regained his composure and stared at the Angel of Darkness, "I'm not proud of it," he told her, "And value my pride more than anything, so is not easy for me to admit," he looked to the charred ground, "That's all the Angels seem to want, complete destruction. All I've done is try to defend myself, but my frenzy takes over and instead I kill those who attack me. That is what I fight, that's why I'm part of this war,"

Zane pointed his lance to his left, quickly swinging out to his right. Using the moisture in the air, he was able to create a curtain of water that swamped the dark daggers. Holding his lance horizontally in front of him, he addressed the Angel of Darkness's question, "I've always been like this," he explained, finally able to talk now that his frenzy was gone, "I don't know why I am, or how I became this way, many have told me that it was the Creator who made me this way, all of us made to his liking," He pointed the Argo at the angel, in truth he didn't really like fighting, and usually only tried to defend himself, but I've a weapon clashed with his lance, he would feel it rise, and slowly he would lose control, "Why do you even care so much about that any way?" he questioned her.

The Angel of Darkness had retaliated using lances made of darkness, which Zane found amusing, he was a master with the lance, and she thought she could hurt him with one? He flew with reckless speed, closing the distance. As he flew, dodging anything that was thrown at him, his sight sharpened, his rage and frenzy began to recede, his thoughts were more than just fighting and killing. He charged at her, and thrust his lance forward, barely missing her shoulder. Zane swung his lance, making use of the blades on the lancehead, slicing a few strands of hair as she reared her head back to dodge. He reached forward with his left arm and grabbed her by her throat, he pointed his lance at her heart, his frenzy rising again, but he fight it down, and instead he threw her away. He hated himself when he submitted to his frenzy, and his pride would not allow him to fall to it so easily twice in a row

Zane flew through the burned wasteland. He saw one lone Angel with jet black wings, an Angel of Darkness, how rare, but Zane hardly cared about that at the moment, he could still feel his frenzy, and charged at the charged at the Darkness Angel. He flew forward like a rocket, the frenzy within him making him focus less, and he missed her must barely, smashing into an incinerated tree, busting it into several small pieces of ash. Zane whipped around and charged again

"Reatreat!!" shouted some Angels of Fire who had fool heartedly attacked Zane. There were three of them, they flew through the burned down forest, flying over a lake. Zane pursued them relentlessly, he gripped the Argo in his right hand, and charged at two of them. One of the Fire Angels held a shield and attempted to block, Zane smashed the point of his lance into the shield, "Rraaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!" Zane yelled as he forced his lance forward, streams of water beginning to flow from the tip of the lance. Two of the streams began to flow violently, spiraling to make a drill effect, allowing Zane to charge through, tossing the two Fire Angels roughly to either side. The third angel tried to attack from behind, but Zane anticipated his attack and whipped around, his arm began to gather water, forming a liquid shark head in his arm. He swung and let the shark head sink its teeth into the angels side, he reared back his lance and rammed it forward, through the angels chest, who disappeared in a pathetic flame. He could feel the frenzy, he need to fight more, need someone else to battle, he turned around and saw the other two angels had fled. Zane flew away from the lake to search for anyone he could fight

Duo looked at one last page in his grimoire before snapping it shut. He trusted Noah, but disapproved of the drastic cost for the spell. "I hope you know what you're doing," he told Noah, referring to the risk he put upon his life. Duo joined hands with the others, and fir the first time noticed the demonic presence that emminated from Noah. Duo shuddered, whereas Balis gave a raspy hiss as the familiar felt it too.

Duo's first teleporting spell didn't go very well, it wasn't complete yet, getting Alexia and himself here with it in one piece was a miracle in itself. Duo looked through the pages of the grimoire, seeing if there was a better spell he could use to get everyone to the West Kingdom faster. Duo could read a majority of the pages, but he still had trouble with some of them. He looked to Balis, "I don't suppose you know how to read the ancient runic language, do you?" he asked the lizard, who only hissed as he shook his head. Duo kept trying to read some of the more difficult pages, finally getting frustrated and gave up, snapping the book shut.

"If we do, it'll take a while. We'd have to avoid the center of the Four Kingdoms, where the Central Kingdom lies," Duo warned, "We should leave as soon as possible if we want to get therebefore the Centrals attack again" Duo looked at Alexia's staff, the crack in the shaft didn't look too serious, but any over exertion of her power might make it worse, "A seal should help with that crack," Duo offered, "I'm not so good with seals, but the Elder should know a good spell to fix it or keep it from breaking,"

Devlin followed Claire, he had no idea how to get around this place, so he thought it best to stick with someone who does. As he walked, he could sense something shifting around in the shadows behind him, is this what Zaiz was feeling earlier? Heartless appeared from nowhere, swarming everyone. Devlin called to his Keyblade, Swordmaster, and slashed horizontally, destroying a Shadow Heartless that lunged at him, "Just some Shadows? I thought he said strong Heartless were in these tunnels?"

Devlin followed the others, the underground tunnels looked easy to get lost in. He noticed something as he looked around, it was a sign, "Look, it looks like some sort of way to get around," the sign was simply two numbers with arrows pointing in either direction, "This could help trying to get to the Train station," Devlin noticed that something was bothering Zaiz, "What's the matter?" he asked him

They had gotten away, Duo looked around, his home was destroyed, he couldn't believe it, his home was gone. He looked around for Balis, he was with Alexia, she was mourning the loss of the entire Kingdom, there were almost no survivors. Duo studied his Grimoire, something in him was urging him for more power, he never really looked in the book before, so he wanted to familiarize himself with it, and learn the secrets that it held. Duo walked back to Alexia and Noah, "How's everyone holding up?" Duo asked, referring to the few survivors

"Oh, that was a test, well then..." Devlin said. Master Riku wanted everyone to get along and be friends, this was a bit of a problem for Devlin. He never really had friends in his home world, so he wasn't very good at trying to make them.

"I've got no problem with it," Devlin started. What was the point of training if he wasn't going to test his strengths? Devlin felt odd speaking up, after he did he quickly looked down and tried to avoid any other attention.

Duo needed more power, he needed the last thing he ever wanted to pull out. He created a transparent bubble of lightning, something could be seen inside of it, but it was blurry. The bubble popped and a bag fell into Duo's hands, he reached in and pulled out a book, the cover was ornately designed with electric blue sapphires and gilded with silver. He turned to Cleia, "This, is the Maelstrom Grimoire, this one book holds all the secrets to the magic of thunder, lightning and storms," Duo opened the book, the vast amount of magic bound within the pages burst out in a sparking electrified shockwave. The storm Duo conjured had become more violent, now the lightning strikes were actively seeking out any and all off the air ships. Duo read from the grimoire, speaking an old runic language. A heavenly thunder bolt the shined like daybreak through the stormclouds stuck Duo. his eyes gleamed like sapphires, and he attacked Cleia, chanting runes and ancient spells. Spears of lightning were dropped onto her, serpents and birds and other creatures were conjured out of thunder to attack. Duo spoke two more words from the book, "Thesidai Golimere!" these were the runic words for 'thunder' and 'golem'. A huge lightning bolt struck behind him, and from the ground rose a humanoid figure composed of lightning. As she tried to run off, Duo sent the thunder golem chasing after her, "I'll not let you get away!!"

Duo was shooting down ship after ship with ease, he raised both hands and shot a lightning bolt into the sky. Storm clouds brewed, the winds raged, rain began to pour down in floods. Lightning bolts struck down from the storm clouds sporadically, striking here and there without warning. Balis hissed at something on the ground, Duo turned to look at what caught the lizards attention, it was Alexia fighting another Central, "Don't worry Balis, she'll be fine," he reassured his familiar, but Balis hissed and jumped off Duo's shoulders, "Damnit! Balis what are you doing?!" without being imbued with Duo's lightning, Balis would plummet like a rock and splatter on the ground. Duo jumped down and followed the lizard, the fall was a lot shorter than expected, he grabbed Balis and blasted thunder from his legs to slow his fall, and landed with a soft impact on the rain soaked ground. Alexia was nearby, she was busy shielding herself against an air ship that was lucky enough not to get hit by Duo's storm. The Central was attacking, Alexia was wide open, Duo snapped his fingers and trapped the Central in four panels of his Thunder Glass.

Duo nodded, he looked up at Alexia as she began her assault on the rising air ships, "Be careful Alexia...". Balis crawled up Duo's shoulders, looking at his master, and he nodded. It was Duo's turn, he launched himself into the air with lightning, several stories in the air, Duo released an orb of lightning, it flew forward and exploded, sending out a huge shockwave of lightning. The shockwave rippled through the air ships, causing many of them to malfunction, and fall from the sky. Duo stayed in the air, standing on a column of lightning. He shot lightning bolt after lightning bolt at every ship that rose from the ground, Duo looked his odds, his lightning magic had a great advantage, messing with the inner workings that made the enemy'stechnology work. Behind Duo rose an air ship that had begun to fire some sort of artillery, "What are those things? Balis, take 'em down!" Duo threw Balis at the projectiles that the ship had fired, Balis flew to the closest one and bit into it, ripping a chunk of metal from it, causing it to explode, this hardly bothered Balis, the lightning cloaked around him protected him from it. Balis flew to each missile and destroyed each one, flying back to Duo after the last one was dealt with. Duo raised his hand, calling upon a large bolt of thunder, it struck his finger as he absorbed it, he pointed his finger at the airship and fired a powerful thunder beam at the ship. The beam ripped through the hull of the ship, it must of hit something important because the ship went up in a fiery explosion.

Duo propped himself up on Alexia who helped him stand, he was still a little sore, but he had to get to the East Kingdom. Duo aimed his hands up and shot a bolt of lightning at a falling piece of debris, "Let's not have that happen again," he said weakly. Once the three of them out of the castle, Duo attempted to stand on his own, "Alexia, we need to get back to the East Kingdom fast, so I'm gonna try something, but I haven't really tested this spell out yet, so stay close," Duo held out his hand to Alexia, once she took it,a ring of lightning surrounded them. Two bolts of lightning flashed and the two were gone. In the East Kingdom, the earthquakes were just as bad. Two lightning bolts struck in the center of the castles courtyard. Duo clutched his chest, "I shouldn't have done that," He could feel that at least one rib was broken, and the Lightning warp has disoriented him, "Alexia how you holding up? Sorry about that, but we needed to get here fast," Duo looked around, half the castle was already destroyed, he didn't want to know if any, or more likey how many of the towns people were dead, "Zeta said there was four of them working together, lets go see if we can find the person responsible to the destruction here," He took a step and then fell to his knees. His outer wounds may have healed remarkably fast, but he could literally feel his broken ribs crunch when he tried moving.
