Celeste Leonheart

"Damion, I can't use my keyblade! I don't know how," Celeste cried. The keyblade was given to her by her master, but he never taught her how to use it. Plus, if he was as evil as she thought he was, then she wouldn't use anything he gave her. I'll have to help Damion my own way, she thought. But how? She yelled to Damion, "When I tell you to, you need to run away as fast as possible! I know a way to defeat the beast!" She charged headlong and was swept up in its grasp as she slashed at its hand, she murmured a chant. She began to glow with an ethereal blue light. But the Unbound's hand was slowly squeezing the life out of her. Celeste winced as a rib cracked. She had to hold on!

Celeste didn't know what to do! She couldn't charge up a magic attack for fear of hitting Damion, and she can't go in full force alongside him; she'd only slow him down. "What do I do?!" She screamed at the sky and fell to her knees in despair. "I'm sorry, Damion." Through her tears, she caught sight of a fallen blade. It was light and sharp. Maybe, just maybe...she could fling it at the beast with magic. But Damion would have to know. Celeste picked up the blade and ran around the Unbound, trying to find a way to get Damion's and not the Beast's attention.

Celeste looked at Damion in horror. What was happening to him?! She grabbed him and tried to hold him back. "Damion, you can't! You can't die! Let someone else fix it!"

Celeste looked on in shock at the two men fighting. "...What??" She drew her knife and sword and moved around to the newcomer's back. "I'lll cover him back here," she called to Damion.

"Radiant Gardens? That's where we were, right?" asked Celeste. She turned to look at Damion. "Have you ever heard of...Traverse Town? I think that's where my father was from."

Celeste nodded. "Any traces of unborn or Keyblade wielders." She bent to look at the ground. "So, Damion, where are you from?"

Celeste has decided she liked motorcycles. Even though they scare her out of her wits. It took some convincing from Damion for her to get on the beast of a machine. But it's really not bad, she thought, as she held tightly around Damion's waist. As long as I'm holding on, I'm fine. Plus, the world rushing by was quite a sight. She could get used to this. Celeste buried her face in Damion's shoulder. It was getting cold. She inhaled the smell of his coat...funny, it seemed familiar, like someone she knew. I'll ask him later, she told herself, as she closed her eyes, lulled to sleep by Damion's steady breathing and the hum of the motorcycle. She had no nightmares that night.

Celeste was getting really close now, she could feel it. The presence of the unborn was strong here! She ran up to the gates of an old dilapidated castle. In front were two guards. As she moved to get past them, the was blocked. "I need to get through," she said "not a chance," said one of the guards. " No one enters this castle." "It's condemned," added the other. "Look," said Celeste, frustrated. "I need to get through. There's an unborn through those gates and it needs to be destroyed before it kills us all! Let me though!" She tried to push past them, but they threw her back. "Fine, you leave me no other choice." She cast a stunning spell; the guards slumped to the ground. As she gingerly stepped over them, she said, "sorry, but I had to. You'll be fine in about an hour." With that final remark, she ran through the corridors until she came upon a spiral staircase. It was there. Without any hesitation, she tore up the stairs, drawing her mage's staff and knife as she went. Time to fight.

Celeste walked through the quiet town. She had followed the trace of the Unborn through the door of the world, but it disappeared as soon as her feet touched the ground. She was planning to ask someone for directions of any kind of information on the recent influx of inborn, but the town seemed deserted. She was just about to give up when she heard a voice behind her. "Never seen you here before, stranger." Celeste jumped and spun around, blade at the ready. A middle-aged blond man with a toothpick in his mouth was standing behind her, hands over his head. "Now, now, little lady, I mean no harm. What can I do you for?" Still a little suspicious, Celeste slightly lowered her weapon. "Where am I? And who are you, Gramps?" The man chuckled. "Gramps...it's been awhile since someone's called me that. You are in Radiant Gardens. My name's Cid. May I have yours?" "My name's not important. Listen, gramps--" "Cid." "--Whatever. I'm looking for something called the unborn. Do you know where they are?" Cid scratched his chin. "I don't know anything about unborn, but I saw some keyblade masters pass by about 20 minutes ago." Celeste froze. "Keyblade masters?" "Yeah. They went to the outskirts. Wait, where are you going?!" Celeste was already running toward the exit. "Thanks gramps!" "That's CID!"

Celeste shivered. There was a change in the wind. The unborn were stirring again, somewhere near. "Calm yourself, Celeste. You can fight them all in due time," said her mentor. She rolled her eyes. "I've been training long enough! I know how to fight, Master! Let me go out and hold those evil things responsible for killing my mother! Let me go." The hooded man laughed softly. "You are not ready, you fool. You can't even figure out who your real enemies are! The Keyblade Masters killed your mother! You are wasting your time with the unborn!" "I don't care anymore! I want to make them pay. And if you won't help me, I'll do it myself." Celeste stomped away and began packing her things. "I'm leaving." As she turned around to say a last goodbye to her master, she was surprised to find he had disappeared. But she heard his last words on the breath of the wind: "If you will not aid me in my quest, you will suffer a fate worse than death." With those chilling words lodged in her mind, Celeste left the campsite and headed towards the scent of chaos. She was ready to hunt.

Apparently Kim is getting divorced, too. After 72 days of marriage. Makes you have faith in humanity, huh?

Hey everyone, I'm Celeste Leonhart! I was convinced to get on the site by my fiancee, Damion Strife. So far, I like it. I've played Kingdom Hearts i and II, but I never beat the first one. I am a huge fan of the concept and game, though. I never played Final Fantasy, so I'm trying to figure out who's who in those storylines. But otherwise, I'm excited to get started with the roleplaying and forums! I've never done it before, so it'll be interesting.
