Ethan just smiled at Lexi. "Don't trust your own brother? I'm hurt!" Ethan walked directly up to the counter. Behind it was a tall, leggy brunette with glasses, smokey eyes, and a secret taste for bad boys. Perfect. He flashed his most charming smile, coating his words with Hades' touch. "Hey there sweetheart, do you think that I might be able to get two suites? Nothing but the best, mind you. I want my sister and my new friend to have a room all to themselves, while I'll be staying separately." She blushed some, though she didn't know why, and regretfully said "I'm sorry, it seems that all of our top tier suites are reserved for the time being. He then winked at her, leaned in and whispered into her ear, "Maybe you could come back later and join me? Screw the rules, eh? Live a little!" Her blush deepened and she nervously pushed her glasses back into place on her face. "O-okay," she stammered. "Here are your room keys," she spoke as she returned to him. She handed him the keys and along with them left a slip of paper. Upon unfolding it Ethan read that it had her number on it. He smirked and winked once again. "Thanks doll." Turning back to James and Alexis, he tossed James the keys. Ethan didn't even care if Alexis was made a little jealous by his actions or not. He was just glad that for the first time since he had seen her again, Ethan had plenty to distract him from Lexi. It had been totally crashing his vibes, but now he was back, bitches. (OOC: Please note that the views, actions, and words of the character are just that, and do not reflect me in any way, aside from the writing style I suppose.)

Favourite Songs of the Series
Not-with-a-whimper replied to Paopufruity's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Roxas's theme. I don't know it's proper name, but it's just hauntingly beautiful. -
Agreed. I'm a Christian myself, but that doesn't mean that I'm all about tearing down others. Please don't discriminate or group a bunch of people together based on stereotypes. I made a post on this thread earlier myself. This thread is about the ways that this amendment can and will effect others, that's all.

How stupid is it that in a country all about choice, tolerance, and acceptance, we give people the right to vote on if someone is allowed to love someone else. How is it okay to give people the "right" to shoot down others? Especially since I can't think of a single way that homosexuality can harm a straight person. I'm straight myself, but this is just ridiculous.

Troy replied to Elie, saying "I'm Troy and this here's Felix. I can't say as Ventus, my inhabitor, knows yours, and I didn't manage to catch your name earlier." Just then, Troy was caught off guard by the arrival of Tudi and the new guy. "Glad to have some meat here, personally, and even happier that we've got ourselves a new teammate. Tudi, was it? Do you think you could hand me those birds to cook and go ahead and get the new guy all caught up on what's happening here? At least as much as you know, that is. Tonight after we eat we should all get good rest in shifts. Tomorrow, things get real. I don't know about Scott and Ethan or what they're planning, but we know where Joy is being held and maybe we'll find Seichi and the other girl there as well."

(OOC: I have no idea what's going on here. No fault of yours, Xeveemon, I'm simply confused at what your characters are doing and what's up with Scott and... I'm just confused. I probably need more sleep.)

Next "Tales Of" game to be announced in June
Not-with-a-whimper replied to Tails's topic in General Discussion
Nice! I love the "Tales of" games. They look great, have wonderful stories, and are both dramatic and light-hearted. The combat is usually really fun as well. Tales of Graces F has my favorite combat system to date out of the ones I've played, but I'm happy that we're getting another and that Xillia is supposed to come to America. I really hope that it's for PS3. -
"There was actually an assortment of plastic utensils and a few pots that we could cook in that I found in the travel bus. Living on the road must be intense. We should be able to just cook the rain water for use to cook stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I prefer my food that way. Besides, there was a girl in the group earlier who I think went to go get some meat. Sorry if that offends any vegetarians or vegans," replied Troy, turning to all of the people assembled under the rather large covering Felix and Rebekah had made. "I'm used to cooking, so I can handle that along with Felix if no one has any objections," Troy continued, setting the pots out of the cover to collect water and handing out bottles of water from Keilani to the others there. "You all can go ahead and make yourselves comfortable with the bedding my girlfriend got."
-
Tyler grinned and said "Lead the way!" as he followed Tudi through the rain out towards the makeshift camp, excited about the people he'd meet, but slightly nervous as well. Troy was beaming at Keilani's compliment so much that he barely noticed the rain pouring down around him. When they got to the camp he noticed that Felix and Rebekah were getting along splendidly. Troy realized that he really didn't know either of them very well at all, but still, he was glad to see both of them happy. Maybe it was just Ven's feelings towards both Axel and Aqua, but he didn't really care. He cared for them and knew that they would have his back in a pinch, just like he'd have theirs. Ethan slid into the back seat of the vehicle, stretching out and leaning back against a door but letting Alexis and James have their room. He noticed Scott get slapped and chuckled inwardly. "Well, I'd say to the spa resort unless one of you two would like to do something else? As Lexi's big bro and new acquaintance of yours, I'd be happy to pull some strings to make your nights unforgettable. The night's still young, hell, it's barely even night. So, what do ya say?"
-
Ethan smiled. "Glad to hear it! Still, I wouldn't risk anything. You wouldn't want any of these civilians to get hurt, would you? We should probably get out before we cause a scene." Ethan was actually glad to hear that James was this powerful while still in control of himself. If Sephiroth took control, Alexis wouldn't be able to control James at all, and what good is a powerful weapon if it could blow up in your face at any moment?

KHCoM slight spoilers: Ansem SOD and Castle Oblivion
Not-with-a-whimper replied to chrissk08's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Ansem did not become Xemnas. After the events of Birth by Sleep, Master Xehenort used with Terra and was sent to Radiant Garden by Aqua after he had apparently lost his memories. During his time in Radiant Garden he went into research on darkness and the heart, eventually giving in to the darkness within his own heart, producing Ansem Seeker of Darkness, his heartless. Since he had a strong heart and will before becoming a Heartless, his body became a Nobody known as Xemnas. From that point on they existed as separate beings. Xemnas formed Organization XIII while Ansem SoD traveled between worlds, eventually meeting Sora in Destiny Islands and fusing with Riku in Hollow Bastion before finally facing Sora head on. Side note: If Ansem SoD had just killed Sora before he had his Keyblade back on Destiny Islands, imagine just how much different things would have been. -
(OOC: Yuffie, you are most welcome.) Troy noticed Keilani's stare and quickly checked himself in a window to make sure he didn't have anything in his teeth or that his hair was okay. Troy heard her question and turned to face her, struck by two things. First, at how absolutely beautiful she was and how lucky he was, but secondly at how although he looked a lot like his Inhabiter, Ventus, she looked a lot different from her inhabiter, Namine. It took all types, he guessed. Troy quickly grabbed the bag full of supplies and hoisted it over his shoulder. "Sure thing. I'm ready when you are," he replied, a smile adorning his face and lighting up his eyes. "Yuffie, huh? From Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts fame? Cool deal! She was always tons of fun. I've got Wakka, hence the random beach-ball under my arm." Tyler took her hand in both of his and shook it gently but firmly. "Man, it suddenly decided to pour!" he said, as the drizzle of the rain suddenly got much stronger. On instinct Tyler took his jacket off and draped it over her shoulders. He then asked, "You wouldn't happen to know of a place where we could get out of this weather, do you? Besides, it's getting dark." Tyler was oblivious to the connotation his words may have had, and simply smiled, despite the soaking rain. Ethan played along. "Those CIA types? Yeah, they've been on a lot of different people's cases. I mean, none of us asked for our inhabitors, you know?" Ethan asked rhetorically, addressing James. "You certainly didn't ask for Sephiroth, am I right? So what gives with them treating us all like villains? Scott couldn't handle it anymore, so I guess he had to just face them. I'm sure that you used to be able to tussle with them no problem, James, but now that you're suppressing a lot of Sephiroth's power, we just can't know for sure. Riku's strong and all, I know, but there's a lot of them and one in particular is more than just a human with an inhabiter. I saw it when I looked over some of Scott's notes that he'd made while we were running from them together. While they're all distracted with him, though, why don't we just grab this food and bail? I'll get you and my... sis," he forced out, "a room at the spa resort in a different section of the building from me. I heard on the news that the hotel you guys were staying at got blown to bits. Sound good? You can also feel free to order as much room service or get as much from the mini bar as you'd like." With that, Ethan dialed a cab service and gestured for the two to follow him after grabbing what food they wanted from the table. All in all, he thought that he'd done a pretty good job of acting. He could feel James falling slowly but steadily under their control.

(OOC: I'm so sorry, everyone. I moved out of the dorms last Thursday and I haven't had internet access until just now. From now on if I'm ever gone and something is happening that involves one of my characters, Always, Damion, Number XV, Azure Flame, and Yuffie can feel free to take control for the time being. I tried to text Damion, but apparently he didn't get my messages. ) Troy was grateful for the hug Keilani gave him and he gently squeezed her back. When asked to assist her in getting supplies from the bus he agreed as he felt a few drops fall from the sky. "Yeah, then we can meet back up with the Felix and Rebekah where they're setting up camp." Ethan looked over at his phone and realized that he'd missed a call from Lexi. "Crap, she's probably ticked now," he said before listening to the message. From the sounds of it she was still with James because she still had a fake voice going. "Cracker Barrel, huh? Boy, that Scott sure is random. Never been to one myself, but what the hey, I'll give it a shot. Sucks that I'll have to pretend Lex is my sis, though. I'm glad I was born an only child. It must suck for any guy who has a sister that hot," he finished before snapping his fingers and appearing outside the back door to the restaurant. "Favorite power, by far," Ethan mused, and then stepped into the building, seeing Lexi and James shortly thereafter. He snapped, producing a small flick of flame, to get their attention, relishing the bewildered faces of the other customers. "Hey you two, so where's Scott? Had to go to the little girls room? Nah, just kiddin'." Tyler stumbled through the woods. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" Tyler asked... the guy in his head. Strangely enough, he had come to accept it almost as soon as it happened. Having Wakka around made life a hoot. Who cared if it was real or not? "I said there were some others like us, ya? So we keep going this way. No worries brah, you'll run into someone eventually," Wakka answered. "Easy for you to say, you aren't the one having to walk through all of this," Tyler responded. Just then, as it started to rain, Tyler saw an athletic looking girl (Tudi) walking around in the woods. "See there? I told ya! Have a little faith," retorted Wakka. Tyler ignored him and instead approached the girl. "Hey! You happen to have someone in your head, or am I just crazy?" Tyler asked her. He'd never seen this girl before, and would more than likely never see her again if they didn't have anything in common, so he figured he had nothing to lose by being direct.
-
"Sounds good to me, but we should probably have more than one person at a time guarding the rest. I'll go ahead and volunteer," Troy concluded.
-
"You kidding me!? How do they always do that!? Gah! Well at least we know a rough location. Chicago is where we can find Joy, and if we even get close to him we should be able to sense his inhabitor. We can't really do that much about Seichi and Arina right now, so I guess we should just gather up what few of us are left and take turns standing guard while the others heal and rest. After we're all ready then we should be able to head that way," said Troy, trying to pull together a plan from the mess that had occurred ever since this whole thing had started.

The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer 3
Not-with-a-whimper replied to TheApprenticeofKingMickey's topic in General Discussion
I honestly think that this new guy is doing a really good job. My favorite thing from what I've seen is that he's got down the trademark quirky/belittling humor characteristic of Spiderman, while Toby did a really good job playing mild-mannered and/or intense, but seemed to lack that playfulness that always made Spiderman my favorite Marvel character. This is just one man's opinion, however. -
"Yeah, we gotta take this opportunity while we have the chance. These guys seem to have a habit of disappearing on us before we can take them down," agreed Troy.

(OOC: Works for me. You could just say *removed* and then everyone would know. Okay, I think that's enough OOC posts for me for a while. Let's allow the story to move on, shall we? http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png )

(OOC: It's all good man, it was just a misunderstanding. Simply edit the posts to say something else. Maybe give background on your character or have him do an inner dialogue with Xigbar before eventually heading towards other inhabitors. There are plenty of examples in this rp of how people have introduced their characters, so those could provide ideas as well. But, as Azure Flame said, there's only this world, almost exactly like our own, and inhabitors are an unexpected and unexplained incident within it. Last year in this world there were only inhabitors from various Final Fantasy worlds and this year there are only inhabitors featured within Kingdom Hearts. As seen by Xeveemon's characters and James, having had an inhabitor makes you a perfect candidate for getting another one. The only other thing I can think to say is that the Lifestream from Final Fantasy VII is a thing here, meaning when a character dies they fade into it.)

THE NEW AVENGERS: A DARKNESS IN THE LIGHT
Not-with-a-whimper replied to WakingDawn96's topic in Roleplaying
Two things, first, I'm confused as to how he's the next Thor but doesn't live in Asgard. Secondly, the hammer is actually called Mjölnir (not to tear down, just so you could know ). -
