  1. Drale The spectral being evaporated and Drale was able to rush to the end of the hallway just in time, and flip the switch. As the last of the hallways closed in on him, though, he teleported away and reappeared in front of Griver, Efenton, and Tristan. Sandrew/Fairy As Sandrew fell to the ground, the box with the key in it appeared in Fairy's hands, and both were teleported near to Griver. Fairy was conscious, but it seemed like Sandrew was in need of help, and fast. Kamyn Adriev entered the control room and channeled his nanomachines into the central console. All the lights turned on in the bridge and the mountain... no... the ship known as the Evraius began to rumble and shake violently as it's engines started again for the first time in centuries.
  2. Amber The beast cried out as it flew backwards... somehow Amber's hit had done an insane amount of damage to it. It was possible that he willpower was tied to how well she fought against this monster, and the more her passion burned, the more the monster's own flame lessened. Time to end this. Efenton After Sanya teleported away, the ship controls auto-ported Efenton back to his original location. He now stood next to Griver and Tristan.... no powers to speak of. Sandrew/Fairy As the ground shook an a fissure opened up beneath it, the gigantic silver mass of monstrosity was unable to keep from falling in, slowly sliding into the ground, attempting, in vain, to claw it's way out. The ground continued to shake and it continued to descend into the dark below... one last earth-shattering strike might do it.
  3. Alright guys, I'm FINALLY back. I'm really sorry about the week delay. I'm juggling three major projects for my game development major and have less time than ever. Still, I'm gonna try to step up the amount of updates as we head into the last bit of the RP (check the most recent post for the fun new revelation). The trials won't last much longer, and after that we get to the homestrech. Once again, apologies for the time gap, and all the times in the past few weeks I haven't been nearly as consistent as I should have been. I'll try to step it up as we send Evraius off with a bang. Also, just a note, Silver, if you could post sometime soonish that'd be great, otherwise I'll have to move your switch/key trials to something else to keep things moving.
  4. Platinum/Silver/Gold Drale As Drale carved into the being and slid by it, it roared out in a an inhuman, undead-sounding way. Once he was past it though, he may have noticed that it his cut didn't kill the being, but simply left a gigantic gash on it's torso. With it's last bit of might and fury, though, it leapt at Drale as he kept running down the hallway and bit into his shoulder. Cornelius/Doctor Pellinore The symbol of the two clashing sword began to glow warmly as the two combatants continued to fight... Just a few more critical blows... Amber As Amber clung to the edges of the room, she watched as the fire roared outwardly, and then coalesced into a single humanoid form. A gigantic fire monster now stood before her, roared, and leaped towards her, it's fire mouth opening to bite into her... The second and final part of the test began now. Sandrew/Fairy As Fairy healed him, Sandrew's attack evaporated the three attacking humanoid beings. The others watched and slowly came together as a group. Then they morphed into each other, one after the other, until a hulking monstrocity stood before the pair. It had no form beyond a morphing globulous mass, but it inched closer... it's pure silverish features shining in the artificial light... several "arms" reaching out quickly and viciously towards Sandrew. The last fight for the key had begun... the pair just had to power through it. Kinzoku After the pendulum split and flew past her, Kinzoku was home free. She just had to reach out and flip the switch. This was the final push... do this and she would be out of the trial. Ferro Ferro walked down his separate hallway into a medium sized room. As he did, all his weapons shot off from his possession into the center of room. Material from the walls then moved toward the weapons and encased them. When it finally separated Ferro could see that all his weapons had been given humanoid forms, and while the weapons themselves sat at the core of each one, they wielded copies of their weapon forms. The only thing was, all of their bodies were controlled by something other than them. They all rushed Ferro and attacked him in one simultaneous first strike... their new bodies... or cases, acting on their own. There was a switch button on the ceiling, but it was currently sealed off. Ferro would have to fight his weapons to get it... to get out at all. Emert/Jasper As Jasper sliced through the metallic fighter several times, it dissipated with a roar. Suddenly behind emert appeared the very same being, but duplicated. emert now had one metallic fighter in front of him and two behind him. Jasper, for the moment, had a few seconds of respite. Tristan The box before him fell into Tristan's hand. Medicinal, Intoxicating, Deadly. Now it was obvious that the first letter of each word in order spelled out "MID", designating the correct vial to drink from. As Tristan held the box, he suddenly was teleported out of the trial and in front of Griver. The box would not open until the corresponding switch was hit, but Tristan had passed his trial. Then he realized. The labeling of the bottles was for the purpose of a puzzle but it was not incorrectly labelled either. The room looked a bit blurry and Tristan noticed his speech was slurring slightly.... This would make for an interesting next few minutes. Sanya/Efenton "DECISION REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY. AUTO DISCONNECTION OF BOTH USERS IF CHOICE IS UNMADE" The voice over the speaker was urgent. Efenton and Sanya would have to act and they would have to act now. Kamyn Adriev embraced Ryu. "You see, my boy, no matter what power we hold, it is the knowledge and wisdom to do good that decides our fate." The sound of the dagger slipping into Ryu's flesh was almost quiet, but Ryu would have felt it all the same. "I have the wisdom to see that I am right. And the knowledge to know you may let your guard down." Adriev continued. The nano-machine signature was returning to him, almost greater than before. The ground began to shake violently. "So I distracted you all this time while my nanomachines all were redirected to this planet's core, beginning a mass fusion reaction that will tear it apart in mere minutes" Adriev's form began to dissipate as his nanomachines began the teleportation sequence. "Before I leave you on this god-forsaken rock to die, though, I'll let you know what I'm going to do back on our planet. You see, humans have once again proven their error and folly to me. I find it useless to try to maintain such a wretched race for so long in vain. I and my true followers have superseded humanity, though. We can make something better. We can create an ultimate race like the gods we are." Adriev's lower half began to fade away. "That's why when I get back and kill anyone not loyal to me, I'll be bringing the Evraius back online... flying into orbit..." he smiled, " and activating all it's weapon on the planet, ridding the world of humans once and for all." The ground erupted all around Ryu on the planet and explosions rocked the surface and the shaking intensified greatly. "Goodbye Ryu. Enjoy your demise."
  5. It's so much simpler than I think some of you are thinking it is. Three vials. Medicinal. Intoxicating. Deadly. Why would it be those three? Why in the order?
  6. BTW, you all can now help Tristan with his trial with OOC chat. There's an answer to it... just gotta find it. The clue is there.
  7. Kamyn "And what then?" Adriev looked off at the strange sun this unknown planet. "Would they be better people? Would they love more? Would they make peace more easily?" Adriev paced away a few steps. "It is interesting to hear about Quantum. Truly, it's quite miraculous. I am, myself a scientist so I find it fascinating." He turned back. "But don't you also see how dangerous it is?" Any power that strong? Imagine it getting into the wrong hands..." Platinum/Silver/Gold Drale (Basically have Drale run and face everything that comes his way.) As he ran, though, a huge spectral being, which was now known to be a collection of nanomachines creating a particle field, dropped into the hallway before him, blocking his path. It lunged towards him and swung a punch directly at his torso as the hallway spun ever faster... Cornelius/Doctor Pellinore The blood spilled onto floor from the Doctor's hand.... but nothing happened. Looks like the trial wanted something more.... Sandrew/Fairy Two of the humanoid creatures then reached Sandrew, slashing viciously at him in sync with blade-arms, as the rest rushed towards the two. Sandrew was going to have to act, as tired and worn out as he was... or they would both never make it out of this chamber.... Kinzoku As she walked slowly across the room though, part of the wall deformed into a cubic pendulum and swung down viciously and without warning toward her... Tristan The liquid in the vials bubbled and shifted in their vials. The had to be some right answer here... some way to pass the test. Something he may have been missing... Medicinal. Intoxicating. Deadly. Which one could it be?
  8. Kamyn "A god under the influence of nanomachines?" Adriev smiled a soft smile. "I have always been a man, Ryu. A man who wished the best for humanity. I was able to make use of nanomachines because they were available, but I was never so intrinsically tied to them. Let us just talk, then Ryu. As two humans." He took several casual steps towards Ryu. "So, as a human, what is it you wish from me? From nanomachines? From this whole planet?" Platinum/Silver/Gold (I'll be running most of your individual trials for Griver. So bear with me, this may be a lot of stuff to manage. If I miss anyone, I apologize. Just say so an I'll put you in) Drale Drale faced down a lengthy, thin hallway. At the far end was a single button with a small light above it currently turned off. Surely it was one of the switches.... Just then the hallway began to rotate. The walls became floors, then walls, then ceilings, and back around.... faster and faster. On top of that it start to inch smaller and smaller... the hallway was closing. And if Drale didn't rush down the shrinking, spinning hallway to the switch, he was about to be crushed Cornelius/Doctor Pellinore As the room split into it's various segments, Cornelius and the Doctor found themselves encased in the same cage. Then, rising out of the ground before them, was a light switch and a small symbol of two swords clashing... The good news was they had found a switch. The bad news was that the way to switch it open was through spilling some blood... Amber Amber found herself in a large cubic-space after the huge hallway had split them apart. Before her sat a singe hook attached to a chain and several huge black barrels. The was a silent sense of oddity, but the silence didn't last long. Each of the barrels soon all exploded, seemingly from sort of intense internal pressure, and sent their contents; some sort of pitch-black oil, everywhere. The floor, the ceiling, the walls... even Amber was slightly covered in it. Then the lit match appeared. It materialized from the top of the room and descended slowly, so that Amber would see it... in a few moments, though, it hit the floors, and the fire sparked. It began in the center of the room, but began to spread fast. The material of the walls was hardened, but not impossible to hold onto or hook something into. Either way, Amber would have to think fast before she was barbequed. Sandrew/Fairy Sandrew and Fairy found themselves pushed together as the room shifted, and then realized their surroundings were that of a fairly large cubic room. They both now stood together in the center of the room. In one of the far walls was a niche that contained a small card with a symbol of a key on it... unfortunately it was behind a blue-tinted dispersal field that wouldn't let matter pass through... this must have been what Griver meant with activating the switches. They didn't have much time to think about that though, as immediately the ground rose around them, forming small humanoid shaped entities that looked to be make os a softer metal. There seemed to be over 20 within a few seconds, and in a moment they all charged Sandrew and Fairy, strange electric noises emanating from them as they raised fists and built-in blades and struck at the pair in the center... The two people who thought the least of their combat abilities were about to have to prove otherwise or die for it. Kinzoku As Kinzoku walked down the hallway she could feel the increasing heat coming from a corner up ahead... Upon turning it she found quite the trial: The entire bottom floor area had been converted to magma; bubbling, shifting, and feeling like 1000 degrees. On the other side of the room was a button with an attached light that was currently unlit... the switch that she was supposed to get to. The only way there was through a sort of obstacle course. There were several platforms no wide than two feet that were moving around on their own in midair. They were spaced out that you would need to make a solid jump between each, on top of them moving. Beyond that there was a thin, long platform with two huge rocked flanking it on either side... stationary but... somehow still menacing as if they may move at any time. Finally from that platform to the one with the switch, various spheres of magma and flame shot from the ground at all times, requiring a ridiculous amount of coordination and reflex to dodge while making the last jump. So Kinzoku had her work cut out... Emert/Jasper As the room split into it's individual sections, Emert and Jasper found themselves on two sides of a pane of a thick pane of an unbreakable glass-like material. On both sides they stood in medium-sized rooms. A single enemy appeared before each. They were large brutish humanoid metallic beings, and they looked like they could serve a beatdown. They both began hulking towards the two. On the walls of both rooms a diagram helped to explain the rules of the challenge they now faced; beating an enemy would create two more in the other persons room. This would keep growing larger until one of the two fell in battle (not necessarily dead but badly wounded) and the other person would receive the sealed box that contained the key card that would open when its corresponding switch was activated. They could not speak between the two rooms, and there was no time to coordinate a plan. The two hulking figures charged their respective opponents and brought their fists down brutally towards them... Varion Varion was placed in a fairly small room. Monitors of all the other rooms were surrounding him. Each one had a button attached to it. There was a single light in the center of the room. It seemed like hitting any of the buttons would activate the switch. As the instructions above the monitor explained though, while it would activate the switch and open up a key for someone, it would also increase the difficulty in the corresponding room to the button he pressed and would make it almost impossible for those people to finish their tasks. He had the pick of any of the other trials he wished (just look above for the pairs and situations). Time to choose. Tristan Tristan had the smallest room of all. He was in a room with nothing but a table and three vials atop it. Each one was labelled- the one of the left was labelled "Medicinal" the one in the middle labelled "Intoxicating", and the one of the right labelled "Deadly". On the other side of the table was a sealed wall with a box on the other side containing one of the keys. He had to make the correct choice and choice which to drink out of the Medicinal, Intoxicating, and Deadly labelled vials. Perhaps there was something that may help him to choose... some clue or tip... Sanya/Efenton In the moment that the room was split up by Griver, Sanya and Efenton were teleported away by the Evraius's internal systems. "Reactor over-burdened. Use by captain over-bearing the reactor system. High-level nanomachine use must be restricted." A voice spoke over the loud speaker to them. "Declare which of current two subjects will relinquish high level nanomachine use." So now it was just an empty room... Sanya and Efenton... and a decision. Cathos Cathos barely had time to recognize his new surroundings when something clamped around his leg. A nanomachine-based weight, approximating 50 pounds, and getting larger, had attached itself to his ankle. Before him, on the far side of the wall, was a box with one of the keys in it. Between him and the key was what was difficult. First there was a leap over spinning razorblades, then 7 pendulums swinging in various directions, perfectly timed so that they never intersected, and then an over-hung rocky cieling that would need to be climbed over a large vat of acid.... All with a weight of ever-increasing size attached to his leg....
  9. Kamyn There was silence as the smoke cleared. The brutal explosion has taken its toll on the unknown planet's surface. "What is it you want?" Adriev's voice felt somewhat broken. And as the smoke cleared, a scar showed across his cheek. "What, Ryu, do you hope to accomplish by killing me? A better life? A better world? Do you think I'm truly a monster that wishes to destroy humanity's happiness?" There was something different about Adriev, but he didn't let onto it in the way he spoke. Nonetheless it was very clear to Ryu... his nanomachine signature.... was nonexistant.
  10. Wake up dawgs! You're characters ain't gonna suicide mission themselves.
  11. Iron The Golem's head, it's last remaining functional segment, collapsed onto the ground and evaporated. Millions of little sparks then started occuring all around the team. Every little segment of the golem was self-destructing. After the last spark occurred, and nothing remained in the room, every light turned on, and a door on the other end from the lift opened up into a gigantic hallway, purely white, leading upward... (read the next segment too, Iron team) Gold/Silver/Platinum "Very well then Efenton. I'll take care of the trash here and be back to the ship as soon as possible. Assist Griver in whatever he wishes until then. The door opened on the other side of the room, and a huge, pure white hallway lay on the other side. It was the length of half a football field, a 3-story height, and ran the length of a medium skyscraper's height. Inside was one man...or Kamyn. Griver. Another door suddenly opened into the hallway as well, from which Iron team emerged. All the teams were now finally united. "Griver, listen." Adreiv's voice spoke in the Kamyn's mind. "This entire hallway is made up of nanomachines for walls, floors, and ceilings. I've given you access to use every single one and morph the terrain to your liking. Give a final test to all remaining survivors." There was a momentary silence. "And do not hesitate to act against anyone who threatens you. Understood? I'll be there soon." Adriev turned back to Ryu on the other planet in which they thought. Did Efenton think Adriev couldn't tell when his son was hiding something?
  12. Platinum/Silver/Gold "Efenton." Adriev's voice entered his son's mind. "Give me a status report. I'm a bit pre-occupied with dealing with a traitor, and it would seem my mental link to the teams in that room was temporarily fractured. Have you dealt with them all yet? The door forward needs to be opened soon if any are left..." Iron The golem's torso solidified and hardened, and it began to fall out of balance. Just then Kinzoku's cylinders slammed into it, followed by Emert's blasts of light, which tore through the fire attack by the golem and that split the being in half. The bottom leg area dissolved and the top head and arm area suddenly jolted back to motion. The arms shot out toward the Doctor... attempting to smash him in it's arms....
  13. Hey folks. Apologies for the lack of progress. Labor Day weekend is upon me and I've been quite busy an away from a computer. I wanted to get the twist out of the way before my short break so we'll use this time to let everyone sort of catch up and Hopefully sometime tomorrow or at latest Tuesday I'll return in an official capacity and drop some more fun. At this point, after the twist, it's just gonna be one thing after another. We've entered the home stretch. And this ain't the last reveal left in the RP.
  14. ^Tempting.... Also, looking back at their titles, I have some strange affinity for the letter "E".
  15. What can I say, I like have some extra intrigue along with the character interaction. Gives the second half of RPs a bit of flair and fun. I do notice I've been ramping up the twists with every RP though... maybe that's a trend. The Experiment: Every character is actually a fated one on top of (or the cause of) having powers with the ability to shift destined events to their will without realizing it and Xi is trying to recruit them. Echoes and Ash: Every AI the the whole party had been working with to figure out who destroyed all of humanity were actually the ones who destroyed humanity. Evraius: Everything believed to be magic is actually unsee-able micro-machines that bind to the will of humans to care out distinct tasks seen as magic abilities and the gods are actually the initial crew of the ship that landed on a new planet from a war torn Earth which then was built over with a large mountain to disguise where the ship had landed. Yeah... good times.
  16. Happy to see everyone enjoying the twist! Everyone's got a little Hideo Kojima in them.
  17. That moment when the RP was never a Fantasy RP.
  18. Iron The golem recoiled from the three cylinders, but was quick to return to fighing form. As the spider struck it the golem, without even seeming to recognize Murial having stabbed her sharp front legs into it's torso, grabbed one with it's left arm, and with it's right struck coldly, swiftly, and brutally at it's body with it's icy and jagged arms. Fire also roared from it's head, and veered directly for Emert as well.... Kamyn "These games are meaningless!" Adriev's arms both formed into blades and he sped towards a group of the duplicates and slashed at them viciously, tearing into them. Platinum/Silver/Gold "Captain..." as Adriev spoke the sound of a blade slipping into flesh was heard. "....is no longer my title." "We left Earth with a purpose. To create a new life for humanity. To escape the war so that our race might survive. Nanomachines and their many uses, medicinal, cruel, war-like, mind-altering... are the bane of our existence. Technology we know it-" The blade slipped further in and the other man began to choke on his own blood. "-has doomed us. I- we were tasked with piloting a simple seed ship, giving human new life. Life away from the hell we created on Earth with our own ambition and foolish dreams of transcendence. We were given that power. We are the ones to decide. You have proven yourself incapable of choosing, so I have made the choice for you, and found others who can do the same." The blade slipped out and the other man fell to the ground and continued slowly choking out his last breaths. "Our nanomachine stores have already been leaked onto the planet. But once I wipe the memory of everyone in cryo-stasis they will have no idea what these powers do. There will be no temptation to use them to destroy a whole planet again, because nobody will understand how. They will think themselves magical, but not all-powerful, as those on Earth did. Think on that, as you choke out your dying breaths as a mortal man. I can save humanity. I can make sure we never get so close to our own destruction again. I'm sorry, I truly am, that it came to this. But hesitance here will only doom us again." The boy had then entered the room, and Adriev picked him up. "Efenton, you foolish child, this isn't a place for kids." A swirling sound was heard, and then the light breaths of the child as he slept. "That's what our technology can do. Trillions of tiny micro-machines swirling in the air, attaching themselves to human hosts for a variety of uses. I can put my son to sleep in an instant with a wave of my hand, isn't it awe-inspiring... and frightening? Don't worry, I, and those I have chosen to help me, will be sure humanity stays safe." He placed Efenton on a nearby chair and walked over to his co-captain. "We will be the gods of this new humanity. We can use the Evraius's reactors to boost our nanomachines and act as gods of the world, using fear to keep these people safe from themselves. If they are too scared to wonder, then their wondering will never lead to pain. If they believe it is magic, perhaps they shall never have the cold ambition our people did, perhaps they shall be spiritual, kind, understanding." Adriev went through the process of opening the cryo-stasis chambers- the hundreds of thousands of them on the seed ship Evraius. Footsteps were heard. It was impossible to tell from the recording but they were of some familiar people- Vortimer, Griver, Ryu.... "Sleep peacefully, my fellow captain. For now I will become a god, of fear, yes, but a god that will be sure that humanity never returns to the dark times of moving beyond our abilities to maintain our own safety..." "Both us captains die today. And I return... as a Kamyn."
  19. Gold/Silver/Platinum "Oh that?" Adriev seemed un-phased in the recording. He let the silence hold the moment for a bit longer and then spoke as the air dripped with it. "That was just me detonating the crew decks. Too many fools who know the truth. They won't be useful, and when we wake up the whole cryo-population they would simply explain all that has come before, and ruin the new world that is to be created." He smiled. "As captain of the Seed-ship Evraius I think I have a right to decide who lives and who dies aboard my vessel for the good of humanity." He paused. "And the kids are doing just fine."
  20. Yup, let's keep on trucking everyone. We had a moment where someone was more nude than it publicly acceptable, I approved of it, and now we're past it. This RP isn't gonna be one about sexual content (Which is why that rule is in place), that's not what the world or general story are about. We're just getting to what I think will be a really interesting part, so no use dwelling on past events.
  21. I want to make a quick announcement: it would seem some people felt there were some issues with Oathkeeper's character's actions, and it seems that outside mods were notified about it, and the posts pertaining to those actions have now been removed. If this is something you find questionable on a site-wide level of course it's your prerogative to report as you see fit, but I figured this may be the best opportunity to go over my personal policies on the matter. I have a rule for the RP that suggests nothing beyond a PG-13 level of sexual content, but of course this is somewhat flexible to the nature of the story and the characters. If you are personally offended by things that are posted here, and wish to take personal action on that account, that's completely fine. However, if you take issue with player actions because of the way you think it affects the RP and the RP's story, I find that to be less a matter for outside parties and more for me and the players involved. Moderation on this site is great, but issues with the story and characters can probably be more specifically and delicately handled if it goes through the members of the RP itself, that way we can veer the story in a better direction instead of having posts removed and leaving people in a jumble of which actions for characters are actually counted as legitimate. Please, if you have a concern with how a player is influencing the story, post on this thread, or, if you want a more anonymous approach, simply PM me, and your identity will be fully concealed if you so wish. This way I can take into consideration the nature of the story, and characters and act accordingly. This way the story can maintain a hopefully steady chronology and not be too meddled if issues arise. Also, this can help to not cause any ill-will between any of you, as all of you are great RPs and I would hate to see any strife here. Also, I'd like to simply point out for the record that, while sexual, I had and continue to have no issue with Oathkeeper's actions during the RP thus far. I want this to be a pleasant and enjoyable RP, but I also feel that allowing people to RP as they see fit for the most part allows for a more dynamic and unique story to take form. I do indeed have set rules for this RP, but RPs in general carry a lot of subjective content and judgement of them can't be black and white, it's something that takes discussion, compromise and understanding. I hope we can all see Evraius through with a fair helping of all of those things, and enjoy the story and other players while we're at it. See you on the mountain. -MDS
  22. We're almost to that magical moment in every RP... where the truthbombs start fallin'. No turning back now.
  23. Iron The lift sprung to life and brought the entire Iron team to a lightless room above where they were. In the darkness, though, a flicker appeared. Some form of flame. It illuminated that the room was quite large and made of metal, and above the flame was a large metallic sign reading "Malfunctioning units." In front of the flame was a young woman though... Kinzoku (read the next section for Kinzoku as well) Kinzoku Kinzuku landed hard, but some force beneath her had given way and allowed her to remain relatively unscathed even from such a huge fall. Now she was in a darkened room... behind her a rumbling came forth, and the Iron team arrived on a lift from below. Now her and the Iron team stood in this room... and a flame appeared before them. At first it was small, but then it began to spread... and move... The flames spread but then another section of the room started sparking with electricity, which also spread. Soon there was also frosty ice spreading as well... Soon it became clear; there was a being in the room that was creating and using all of these elements. As the light stretched out across the room it illuminated the creature's form, which was a gigantic, hunched-over humanoid figure, of which the head and upper torso were fire, the arms were ice, and the legs were electricity, all with a sort of ever-morphing metal, which was dynamically shifting at all times. The elements shifted too. It was as if the creature was made of of thousands... no... millions of little beings that all controlled elements and dynamically formed together.... A sort of elemental golem... but far more potent and destructive. In a moment it swung wordlessly down at Kinzoku with it's icy fist, swift and merciless, it's arm stretching and sharpening to a blade as it came down. Gold/Silver/Platinum From the pedestal with the button a sound arrived... Adriev. But he sounded different.... warmer... more... human. "So, we have all the critical systems online right? The cryo chambers are all still functional? We didn't lose anybody?" That was when another voice chimed in... Kamyn Adriev laughed. "A celestial being? How quaint. Your petty gods are pitiful and foolish to think themselves on the level of Kamyn. Your power comes from faith, mine from force. I will teach you your place, traitor. Then I will put my final plan into motion for all of your friends left on this world." The smile of Adriev's was sinister and daunting. "Make your first move, I shall relish in your death."
  24. ((Quick note- Griver isn't coming to the chamber you all are in. He's been sent further down the line to wait for any survivors because Adriev thinks Efenton is fighting the humans. His orders shouldn't coincide with you guys until after the deal with Efenton and the recording is done.))
