  1. Name: Bistro Dahne Sex: M Age: 11? Appearance: Occupation: Thief Skill/Magic: Disguise Magic: Using masks, he can disguise himself to appear one way to others, even though his physical appearance never changed. Personality: He's slow to trust someone, for sure. He himself even can seem untrustworthy, even though his heart shines like gold. Selfish as he may be, he definitely knows injustice when he sees it, and aims to help judgement be passed. Bio: He lives in the playhouse, mostly undetected, and he has lived there most of his life, even though it's been a short one so far. He seems to know more than he lets on about many things, including town secrets, this could be thanks to his ability to disguise himself. However, right now he's remaining in jail thanks to the late Sheriff Gumshoe. He reluctantly obeys the Journal, although he expresses his grief about the chore. However there are many times he ignores it as well. Origin: Kafei from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
  2. You were right Guys, I'm gonna write up another character for myself soon! If anyone else wants more characters, feel free as well!
  3. ~James Harper~ James jumped with a start when Jynn joined the conversation, quickly turning his head away to avoid the man from seeing his tears. It didn't take much longer after that to allow James to regather his thoughts and calm his mind. Jynn seemed to want to help, but before James could object or take a breath, Vanitas filled him in on the warnings and the ideas they had. Jynn gave his own input, which James found more favorable than the other three: Kill, Fake a death, or reveal the truth. Pretend everything was fine and return here later tonight? Sounded okay. Would the journal be able to to tell what James was doing? He'd need to stick with Vanitas if that was the case. "Jynn," James started, "I'm not too sure on how the Journals work, but I think it sees everything we do. If we continue and act like you say, I think the Journal would think we were carrying through with our entries. So I agree with you- you say you need to head to the sheriff? I can join you if you want." James offered out his hand to hopefully shake with Jynns. "It would be nice to make another friend."
  4. I've got one Journal Entry: Investigate the lake crime scene. Meet with the man who discovered it.
  5. Accepted! (Just don't let your time powers become OP ) Here are the current goings on: Vanitas has been largely ignoring his Journal for most of his life, and started researching it- this made Alter-Ego mad, and she's having him killed off soon. James is the one who was assigned to kill Vanitas, but he's hesitant. Sheriff Gumshoe was killed off, the Journal sent Vincent to investigate the scene as a warning. Someone ignored the previous days entry, causing the crash of a ship, and the death of all the passengers. Jynn's horse, Mel, was attacked by the Keepers, but because Jynn was there, they couldn't eat Mel. The Keepers get hungier the more someone ignores the Journal, which is why every day, they draw closer to the town. The have built in rules, though, that they can only attack those who have largely ignored the Journal, or ignored a BIG entry- which is why right now, the Keepers may be attacking a few of our players tonight. I know I'm missing a lot, but I'm kinda sick today so I can't think of a lot to write about.
  6. Me: I'll reply today! Also me: *gets sick. Very sick.* Sorry guys. I'll reply when I can.
  7. Whew lad- Gonna reply later today, you guys are getting good at fixing mistakes I've made.
  8. Sorry to everyone- I keep making massive mistakes by forgetting who to put an entry for and who not to. This is my first RP that's actually working out and I do appreciate you guys helping me out. I was thinking about taking on a secondary host, someone who could help me out with decisions and entries- but that person would know more about the RP than most players and it would be unfair. What do you guys think?
  9. THE LAKE The lake was soon occupied by police- they were able to identify the dead. Sheriff Gumshoe A plumber who was called Wui Soar the boat constructor Shady, the local poet Mari, a young woman who was recently diagnosed with a cancer. Ryk, a captain With this evidence- they were able to identify the cause. The lighthouse's light had gone out sometime near sunset the previous evening. This ship was meant to return that night, but crashed into the shore instead. The bodies were caught in the current of the river leading into the lake, and thus emerged there. As for the Sheriff, the cause of death is still unknown- but the police are blaming a half-animal citizen with an unknown identity. They will be on the alert for any half citizens. ~James Harper~ "...sort of, yeah." James shuffled his feet at he was joined by Vanitas, his friend. His friend. James pulled out his Journal, flipping the pages to the most recent entry. He wasn't ready to tell Vanitas, but he knew it would be brought up eventually. He sorrowfully plunged his head behind the book, lifting it up to show Vanitas the page. Kill Vanitas. "The Journal wants you dead. I don't want to kill you. I don't know what to do- I don't want those creatures after me, but I can't kill anyone. I never could. Ever." James began to stutter, his words clouding as tears began to fill his eyes. He was terrified of what would happen now- he's disobeying the Journal for the first time- he felt lost. "I've always had this guiding hand- I don't know what to do now."
  10. Yup! There definitely is something physically preventing them from leaving and it's not the Keepers
  11. I'm not really feeling it today guys. I'm sorry lol. I'll check in later today.

    1. Iris

      Iris

      That's alright.

  12. You know, for some reason, I was assuming Elizabeth was a main character lol. Ignore that then! Also, let's say this is a storybrooke type deal, but different. It takes place in it's own realm of sorts- the town is the only thing that exists in this world- no one has ever tried to leave, and their memories of having visited other places are fake. The entire outlining of the town is emulated in a since- whatever you can see that lies outside the town is fake. The mountains in the distance, for example. No one has really thought of leaving, and the Journal has a built in safety lock for anyone who tries to leave- same for whoever tries to figure out the truth, which is why Vanitas has had his journal erased. The Journal (Alter-Ego) expects him dead by the end of the day, and wants no record of him in the Journals anymore.
  13. Pumpkins are expensive for jobless folks like me.
  14. 17k jewels and no Kairi EX :(

  15. ((So sorry to have confused everyone with my Keepers post! They didn't speak It was sort of an inner monologue they were having. I'm so sorry!)) Scene: Lake. Among the trees and pristine waters of the lake, there seemed to be an uneasy silence. There were no wildlife except a batch of wolves who were wearily circling the shore of the lake, but why? Bodies. Who know how many. Bodies lined up against the shore of the lake, seeming to have been taken adrift via the river leading from the ocean. These wolves were wanting to devour these remains sent to drift- but would be startled at any sense of life. A sheriff by the name of Gumshoe had been there earlier in the morning to inspect during his usual rounds- but soon found himself victim to a stranger death than that of the shore-lined bodies. His remains were stringed among the trees. ~James Harper~ Kill Vanitas. Those words echoed true in James' being- did he read it right? He checked again and again, frantically trying to find a different way to interpret what the Journal was asking of him- but to no avail. The Journal wanted Vanitas dead, and it wanted James to be the one to do it. Why him? Was it because he never ignored the journal before? And why Vanitas? What has he done? Is it because he was researching the Journal? James was more scared now than ever to ignore the Journal- but he couldn't kill, could he? Especially not someone who he considered a friend. James stopped walking, realizing he had made it to the middle of the town- he could see Vanitas now, talking to a man James had seen around before. He was hesitant, but decided he needed to do what must be done. Walking over to the Blacksmiths, James kept his head low and his nervousness high. "Vanitas, we need to talk."
  16. Oh okay! So before Emblem Heartless were created (by Ansem the Wise), the only way to contact a heartless was for a heart of darkness to draw them near. If a Pure Blood Heartless took a heart, the heart would return to Kingdom Hearts, correct? No heartless and nobody would be made?
  17. I thought in Days, it was stated that only one of them released hearts? (The DS version, I think I remember someone saying that in the first few missions)
