  1. If for some crazy reason he offered me a job then I'd probably accept... unless it was a horrible job. Like if he says, "come work for me in Japan" and I go there and he makes me do nothing but scrub toilets or mop the floor. Or if he makes me into one of those animators who sits around tracing the same picture and making slight changes to it each time... working for minimum wage (or less) copying a picture (which I didn't even draw) frame-by-frame hundreds or thousands of times each day. Incredibly boring! Now, I doubt that he even hires any traditional animators... but I know that that was a huge part of Disney animation back in the day... Even the "good jobs" on a game development team... I really have no idea what it's like on those teams. I typically don't like team work and would rather work on a project by myself so working on his game development team may be a bad idea. The other problem is that I don't know (much) Japanese. Maybe I could pick it up after a while of living there... maybe not... but while I'm first starting out then I'd be practically illiterate. No way I could work on a development team... No way I could communicate with other team members (except maybe with the help of a translator)... No way I could read notes / read assignments / read anything. Except maybe computer code... but even then it might be hard since a lot of the variable would have Japanese-sounding names, lol
  2. I'm a Christian. Actually, I'm a Catholic, as in, Roman Catholic. Except I'm not "in practice"... as I don't attend church every Sunday. But I do believe in the Catholic beliefs... and that's all the time, not just when I do attend church. i.e. I am not just "selectively" a Catholic or just posing as a Catholic when I do attend church. When exactly did they change that? I've noticed that happening the past few times that I've been to church (and as I said before, I don't go to church that often... but I clearly remember it not being changed like, just last year...) It keeps catching me off-guard, lolAny idea why it was changed?
  3. Just get multiple Cloud cards and keep using them in sets of 3 and he flies around and kills everybody... that's what I did.I can't recall ever having a problem with the cards that couldn't be solved by simply changing my deck around (and I don't believe that that happened often). Playing as Riku was weird because the deck couldn't be modified, but it still didn't give me any trouble.
  4. I see nothing wrong with this... in my opinion it's not much different from tattoos and piercings (which obviously that guy doesn't have a problem with). I don't think it'll work though... those have got to be some pretty strong magnets to hold an iPod for an extended amount of time. And aren't magnets bad for the iPod? Usually putting a magnet next to a computer is a bad idea...
  5. That's all I know her for. Seriously, I have no idea who she is and can't name a single song by her except for The Power of One.And there was that Republican guy quoting "The Power of One" in his speeches, lol
  6. Kind of similar... most likely just coincedence though. I've noticed some similarities between the Star Fox music (which was used in Melee) and Jurassic Park music as well (I think it was Jurassic Park...) Also there's (although this has nothing to do with SSB)...
  7. Not intending to do anything like that... this is clearly a joke. Which is why I've posted it in the "writing" forum and not one of the actual Kingdom Hearts forums, lol
  8. 358 Days / 2 is my favourite. However, I have never played Birth by Sleep (although I do have the money... I think maybe I'll order it and a PSP some time in the next few days...) And I have never played KH:3D because I'm waiting for the American release. I don't know Japanese so playing it in Japanese would be pretty pointless... even watching the cutscense would be pretty pointless if I don't know what's being said. Never played Re: Chain of Memories either (but I have played Chain of Memories so I have experienced it). So I can't comment on those. As for the others: - Kingdom Hearts - Probably my second favourite. I liked it over KHII... KHII's battle system just made it too... easy. And the story was awesome (although KHII's story was almost as good) - Chain of Memories - This was alright but not nearly as interesting as Kingdom Hearts. I did like how you could play as Riku though. Maybe the game would be cooler if I replayed it now that I know who the Organization is. As a matter of fact, it might be better a second time around anyway because that was literally my first Kingdom Hearts game and I didn't know what actually happened in Kingdom Hearts (it was as if my memory was erased by entering that Castle...) - Kingdom Hearts II - Awesome story... I think I liked KH's story more though. But this game was epic. A bit long though, and the battles were easy (although some of the bosses were made extra difficult to balance things out I guess) - Re: Coded - I never beat this so I don't even know how it ends. The game was alright (I kind of liked how it incorporated aspects of many game genres) but the story was just plain weird. And pretty boring.
  9. Haha, I threw it together pretty quickly. Actually, I just copied and pasted some crazy theory I came up with into the Google Translator to mess up the grammar and added some questions to make it look like some sort of interview.
  10. Edit - Just to clarify, this is a joke. I'm not trolling... Bad translation, but here's the interview:
  11. Little does anyone know that the villian of the next saga will be... Sora himself. In KHIII he defeats Xehanort but he gets carried away. He kills Riku and Kairi as well, then starts killing everyone else with that chainsaw which he had before he got his Keyblade. He becomes the most evil man on the face of the planet... and that's where KHIV comes in. You play as the one kid who was able to somehow escape the unstoppable destructive force that is Sora. And so you make your way through the game and eventually defeat him. But then comes KHV... Roxas wants revenge because you killed his "brother". So you have to go through that crap all over again. As it turns out, the only way to defeat Roxas is to use the darkness in your heart... even if it changes you forever. And so you do and become Ansem. Which isn't a bad thing at all, because as it turns out, the enemy of your enemy is your friend -- Xehanort was the true hero all along.
  12. Never though about my favourite... but I can say one thing -- I absolutely hated what they did to POTC with all the added censorship. *Will Turner points a gun, but not at his head. Instead, he points it at... his foot?!* Will: I'll pull the trigger and be lost to Davy Jones's locker! That doesn't even make sense. And I think there were other censorship problems in the POTC world but I don't remember what they were...
  13. I only have 2 foreign games -- a non-bootleg Pokémon Green Version (bought used from someone on eBay) and "Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten" (bought through a website and sent from Japan).
  14. Maleficent said "hell" in Birth by Seep? Why'd they do that? If they found it so innappropriate in Chain of Memories that it had to be changed then why would they repeat it in a later game? And on top of all that, Maleficiant is a Disney character. Wouldn't Disney, who wants to keep everything childish, be opposed to letting one of their characters curse? I don't see why they even allowed them to do that...
  15. What's everyone mean by "CGI"? Isn't CGI just any animation done by computer with 3D models? All of the cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts are CGI except for Chain of Memories (which just used sprites). Or is everyone here refering to the pre-rendered stuff? As for that... I don't really think it'd be necessary. I doubt it'd take away from the game (although I actually didn't like the way that certain scenes were re-made in the intros as much as I liked them the way that they occurred in-game) but there's nothing wrong with the way it is now. And there'd be problems with the players using various key chains and Drives unless they pre-rendered scenes for every possibility which would not work at all... KH wouldn't work well as a movie, even a six hour-long movie, because it's simply too long. Too much stuff would need to be cut or shortened up quite a bit... maybe they could do it with Chain of Memories. But that'd be the only one that might work... unless they made an entirely new movie and not tried to make a movie adaptation of one of the games (like how Advent Children was).
  16. So for the Pirates of the Caribbean world... The first visit - my simplified vesion of POTC2 (completely leaving out the island of cannibals and Norrington). So Sora and Jack Sparrow end up at Isla Cruces and finds Davy Jones's chest and Sora unlocks it with the Keyblade (since everyone knows that the Keyblade can unlock any lock). Then Will Turner shows up rambling on about some nonsense involving killing Davy Jones and freeing his father. So Sora and Jack must fight Will as sort of a mini-boss. While that is all going on then the fish people attack. Sora, Jack (now in possession of the heart), and Will all retreat, taking the Black Pearl out to sea. That is when Davy Jones sends his Kraken after them, and the final boss battle is against the Kraken. So in the end everyone escapes except for Jack Sparrow who is taken to Davy Jones's locker and Davy Jones takes back his heart. The second visit - my simplified version of POTC3 (completely leaving out the East India Trading Company and Calypso). So they want to bring back Jack Sparrow and get revenge on Davy Jones, so they team up with Barbossa and sail to World's End. Then they bring Jack back and track down the Flying Dutchman. The Kraken is no longer a problem because Davy Jones got hungry and ate it. The two ships enter the maelstrom and then a huge fight breaks out. After defeating a ton of fish people then Sora, Jack, and Will board the Flying Dutchman and fight even more fish people. Then comes the final boss battle, which is against Davy Jones. In the end they take back the heart but Davy Jones stabs Will. Will stabs Davy Jones in the heart and becomes the new Davy Jones, where the fish people return to normal and then remove his heart. Sora and Jack escape while the Flying Dutchman is absorbed by the maelstrom. And that's that. The third visit - Here's where it gets even crazier. We all know that Davy Jones was a Heartless. And now Will is also a Heartless. And these people had strong hearts beforehand, so obviously they have Nobodies. Not sure what happens between Sora and these Nobodies (probably a fight against Jones's Nobody at least)... either way something has got to happen. And to throw in something that is completely unexpected... it turns out that the Kraken was actually the Kraken from Final Fantasy. And the other 3 Fiends are out there... somewhere, lol.
  17. Riku didn't tell tell him about Castle Oblivion because Sora willingly gave up the memories. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Plus, Sora didn't even meet up with Riku again until the end of KHII, at which point mentioning any of it would be pretty irrelevent considering the current situation. As for not telling Sora about Roxas or Xion... I would guess that DiZ ordered him not to. And for some reason he was doing everything DiZ said... no idea why. DiZ was a jerk... I probably wouldn't have helped him out. Then Riku never revealed to Sora who he was in KH2 (when he was in his Ansem body)... that was probably a combination of the fact that if he had told Sora then he'd have to explain about Roxas since Roxas is the reason he looked that way, and he probably also felt shame for the fact that he had to rely on darkness and take on that form. Lastly, there's also the fact that Riku is a pretty private person. A lot more private than a lot of the other characters anyway.
  18. Riku lost his heart to darkness, so why didn't he get a Nobody? I think the common answer is that you have to become a Heartless in order to get a Nobody, and he never became a Heartless. But that's not true -- Kairi had a Nobody and she never became a Heartless... Also when Sora became a Heartless, why was he a Shadow? I mean Xehanort's Heartless was completely distinct from all other Heartless... why did Sora just take the form of a generic Heartless, and the lowest form at that?
  19. What does that mean? Like people are removing fins from sharks?! I've never heard of this
  20. Find out what she didn't like about him and make sure you don't do the same thing, lol
  21. Reminds me of the episode of Spongebob when it was opposite day and everyone was Squidward
  22. If I'm remembering correctly, didn't Sora eat it with Kairi? Isn't that why Kairi's heart was in him?
  23. Well I'm pretty sure the DTD was the only way in and out of the fake Twilight Town, and Roxas never went through it so I don't think he was ever in the real Twilight Town. What I don't understand is: if he returned to Sora then how was he separate from Sora and fighting him later in the game?
