  1. Second chance, of course. Followed by once more, guard and MP Rage.
  2. It's deliberately similar to how people were drawn in anime back when it first took off in Japan. Take a look at Osamu Tezuka's early work.
  3. Yeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss...... Pity they didn't show any footage. I wonder if the main series is the only continuity being featured. Either way it's good that its getting some overdue exposure.
  4. Costs too much for something I could do at home for less than half the price. Unless I went without a drink for two hours. Not happening.
  5. I'm pretty sure it's WiiU stuff only. The stupid part of me is quietly hoping it has something to do with either a franchise revival (coughF-zerocough) or Smash Bros., but both seem unlikely and the latter would probably get its own presentation.
  6. Not really. They recap most of the previous games' story. The only things that I can imagine being confusing are what the company that made the androids did in the past and what leads up to the start of Elizabeth's story.
  7. After. Arena takes place in May 2012, P4G's epilogue takes place in 2013. Yes and no. The plot for most of the Investigation Team is basically rescuing another person (Labrys, though they were initially just investigating why the Midnight Channel turns back on and learn about her later) from the TV world and discovering whoever is behind it. The portions of the game surrounding Naoto, Labrys and the P3 cast are significantly different. Naoto's and the Ex-S.E.E.S. members revolve around finding what was stolen during a plane hijacking as well as who was behind it), and Elizabeth's is about understanding what it'll take to save the protagonist of Persona 3, culminating in receiving her own Fool Arcana card. The antagonists (There's two) of Arena are a hacker that wants to use Labrys as the ultimate weapon and an unidentified supernatural entity using him a puppet.. Theories are floating around that it's Nyarlathotep (The Villain of Persona 2) Arena is mostly linear. You can choose to an extent what characters you play as first, but the storylines themselves have only one path, save for a few dialogue options that determine whether or not you complete the route or get a joke ending. And in all likelihood there's going to be at least 1 more sequel, as Arena ends with the Investigation Team planning to go to Tatsumi Port Island.
  8. 1. He thought that because Yukiko (who was the first person he actually kidnapped) came from the TV world alive. Kanji, Rise, and Naoto coming out alive just put fuel to the fire. 2. The game never really directly addresses that . He knows Narukami did something right in order to save Nanako when Dojima couldn't do jack, so by the end of the game Dojima just trusts that he knows what he's doing. 3. Yes, he goes back at the start of Persona 4:Arena and in the special Epilogue of Golden sometime later. 4. Namatame's Messiah Complex was more attractive to the shadows than her. Areas of the TV world are shaped by the feelings of those who wander into it. Shadows are created from the desires and denial of the people who enter the areas (I.E., Saki Konishi creating the shopping district but Yosuke creating the shadow). Namatame had a several powerful internal neuroses to fuel their appearance. Nanako had grief, which was strong enough to drown out Namatame in making the world, but Nanako didn't have outstanding internalized beliefs stemming from it. The level of consciousness may also be a factor (Nanako was half-dead by the time they found her.) 5. In both cases, no. The shadows attached (or possessed, depending on how you look at it) themselves to them once they completely lost their marbles.
  9. Myself Out of the selections on the polI, I pick the not!RSE Protagonists, because they stalk you for the shortest amount of time.
  10. Cyndaquil, probably because it was my first and evolves into two of my favorite Pokemon.
  11. I like her just like that stall in Agrabah I pass by all the time.
  12. You can't whack people with a paperback, that's just embarrassing.
  13. Money, scheduling conflicts, losing contact, creative differences, could be anything. There's probably some outlet where he could be asked about it, provided there aren't any Non-Disclosure Agreements or something in the way of getting that information.
  14. I watch loops of mildly amusing scenes of people saying something oddly.
  15. Haven't had much time to use it, but I didn't like what I got to try. The other panels and the interface don't really offer anything I would use on a regular basis, and the whole windows store mess leaves me wary of supporting it at all.
  16. Well, it seems like the marketers learned their lesson from those Nightmarish ads from early on. More exclusives are probably helping it get momentum. Microsoft needs to make/snag more IP's instead of relying on Halo (as much of a puller as it is) alone to get an edge.
  17. Mandrakes and Tank Topplers. They were responsible for all but one of my critical mode deaths in Radiant Garden.
  18. I see a promotional image for The Walking Dead up in here. And teeeeeeenie tiny reference pools may be responsible for the difficulty statement.
  19. I'm thinking they'll probably give him another redesign, as it's a major title. I don't really have any investment in the whole deal as long as I never have to see that hideous red jumpsuit from the first game ever again.
  20. I spent half an hour looking for a bathroom at the mall and missed my chance to get somebody's number, then I seethed in bed while friends outside were having parties living the life I could never have due to living in a military family. Don't look at me like that. Not my favorite New Year's Eve.
  21. I'm betting right now it's going to be.... ...A new form for Emolga. In all seriousness, I think they're going to tease either Jewel remakes, B/W III (unlikely, but considering the sequelgasm that seems to keep happening with games lately I wouldn't be surprised.) or the first 3DS RPGs. I reaaaaaaally hope it's the latter.
  22. I hate it too, but to actually answer the question, It's mostly to discourage people from importing games from countries where they're cheaper. In Japan at least (which is the most relevant example), consumer goods cost a good amount more than they do in North America.(From my experience, it can be up to twice as much.) The region locking forces the importer to buy a console/device along with it, which is likely to override any savings that the consumer would have gotten from importing the software/media by itself.
