  1. Gexln bent down and grabbed Darkness' Sorrow. He held it up horizontally so that Daxam could clearly see it. "You know, i used to be part of the Organization. I must've left before you, because i never saw you before this tournament, but i have noticed you use their weapons. If you can replicate them, maybe you can replicate mine? Another weapon could always be something that would be of us to you" Gexln explained.
  2. Gexln looked at Daxam. "How would you like an edge on the competition in this tournament?" he asked mysteriously. He closed his eyes and chuckled quietly, thinking of what could happen if his plan actually worked. A slight breeze went through, and for the first time that day Gexln took down the hood on his Organization XIII cloak, showing his face so as to not appear like an enemy.
  3. Gexln stood up once more, having seen that the battle was more or less over, at least in his opinion. "Darkness isn't beaten so easily when you let it use you" he said quietly, thinking aloud as he began walking back to the dorms. He deliberately walked the long way to the dorms, making sure to pass by Ace as he did so. A sly, confident grin appeared on his face as he passed. "Having fun, Ace?" he asked, sounding a little bit TOO casual as he asked that. He didn't wait for a response, instead he chose to walk along the edges of the grounds and back to the entrance to his dorm, where he leant against the wall.
  4. Tired of waiting for Daxam, Gexln began walking out of the dorms. "Daxam, find me later" he shouted to Daxam as he left. He approached the stands, still in deep thought about his plan involving Ace. He walked over to the stands and sat down, now for the first time looking at the fight. A low growl escaped his throat. "Darkness..." he growled. The girl looked as though she was being consumed by it, much as he himself nearly allowed himself to do against Ace.
  5. Gexln sighed. "Guess he's asleep or something" he said. He turned and walked into his room, where he shut the door and layed down on the bed. He wasn't going to sleep, he was just trying to relax a little bit while he thought of how to eliminate Ace. He placed Darkness' Sorrow next to the bed and sprayed out on the bed.
  6. Gexln approached Daxam's dorm, but was shocked to see Garry there. He chose to say nothing to Garry, instead he leaned against a wall. He was trying to look as casual and calm as possible, not at all like someone plotting a murder. He waited quietly for Garry to finish, so that he might speak to Daxam.
  7. "So, the rules say no fighting outside of the arena.." Gexln said to himself quietly. Which means no chance of getting revenge unless i want to be kicked out he thought. He stood up, thinking of a way to get his vengeance while still being in the tournament, kind of. A wicked grin appeared on his face as he imagined it. He left to go find Daxam.
  8. Gexln regained consciousness and sat up. He sat still in the middle of the arena, thinking. Part of him was humiliated that he had lost, the other part of him reminded himself that he hadn't really taken the fight seriously until a few minutes into it. Not to mention the fact he hadn't allowed himself to go all out. His right hand curled into a fist. From now on, its kill or be killed he thought. He stood up and, without a word, he walked back over to the stands and sat down. He had tried something new to him in the tournament, he had tried to be more...human, with holding back because he was against not even an adult, and he had paid. He gritted his teeth in grim determination. Next time, i fight to kill.
  9. Gexln gritted his teeth. He felt as though he was about to collapse at any moment. He held Darkness' Sorrow as you would a spear and ran towards Ace, roaring as he ran and intending to impale Ace on the end of it. He got close to Ace and then fell onto the ground, too exhausted to go on. "I'll...kill..y..." he said as he fell unconcious and Darkness' Sorrow fell onto the ground. Gexln was defeated. (Wouldn't usually do this, but i'm just too damn stressed out irl atm to do this tonight so you win this one)
  10. Gexln groaned in pain, the back slam had done much more damage to him than he had thought. "Urgh...Gexln, why do you do such stupid things?" he murmured, trying to find the energy to get up. He opened a dark corridor and let himself fall into it, appearing on the other side of the arena and grabbing Darkness' Sorrow. He used Darkness' Sorrow as a hold as he lifted himself off the ground. He looked at Ace, swaying slightly. "So, you ready to give up yet?" he asked, brow dripped with sweat and panting heavily.
  11. ( William, seriously, stop this godmodding bullshit. It ruins rp's and isn't needed here) Gexln fell onto the ground, nearly unconcious. He stood up, swaying slightly. There was only one way he was going to come out on top of the fight, and one way alone. He had to do something he had sworn never to do again. He had to release the darkness inside. Gexln's pale skin slowly started to turn to a dark shade of black, but when it vanished as quickly as it had come. "No...i control the darkness, it doesn't control me" he said quietly. He leapt into the air and rolled around, coming to slam his back on the ground, hopefully with Ace still on it.
  12. Gexln's eyes narrowed. "Doesn't matter, nothing you throw at me is going to bring me down" he replied, determined to advance. He merely watched as Darkness' Sorrow continued going towards Ace, whistling through the air as it quickly neared Ace.
  13. Gexln went rolling backwards, slamming into a wall hard from the impact of the unibeam. He rubbed his head a little, clearly he was starting to get more and more frustrated with the battle. He stood up once more. "Ace. I've held back until now because i wanted to see just what i was up against. Sorry to tell you, but you're nothing special, you're just like all the other opponents i've faced. They all had some kind of ability or equipment that they thought made them invincible, but take that away from them and what do they have? You want to end your life here and now? Then that's fine by me!" Gexln yelled. Gexln hurled Darkness' Sorrow spinning towards Ace vertically, hoping that his move would work. ( http://malkavian.wikidot.com/godmodding just the bottom part William)
  14. "Now, Ace.." Gexln grunted, trying to get Ace off his back. "If you keep playing dirty like this...things are going to turn...a lot...more brutal" he finished. He crouched down on the ground, letting the armor's weight keep him pressed to the ground for a moment. Focusing intensely, he built up a massive amount of dark energy, and then released it to form a violent explosion, dislodging Ace and seperating both of them. However, due to the resistance Gexln had to darkness he took relatively little damage. He stood up quickly and did nothing for a brief moment, then he began running at Ace again. After a few steps, he leapt high into the air and did a triple somersault, coming down onto Ace with Darkness' Sorrow and using the momentum to strengthen his attack and use a devastating blow to Ace's skull region.
  15. Gexln skidded to a stop. "What?" he exclaimed as Ace seemed to vanish. Can't have just vanished, he's gotta be invisible or something he thought. He closed his eyes for a brief second and chuckled quietly. "You're an idiot if you think you can hide from me" he said out loud. He looked around himself until he saw the scent of darkness radiating from Ace. "Hah, found you" he said as he fired a dark firaga in the direction of Ace.
  16. Gexln shrugged his shoulders. It didn't matter to him too much who made the first move, so long as it was made. He chose to make the first move, but he didn't make any fancy or complicated technique; he simply began running towards Ace after he had accepted the rose he was given.
  17. Gexln said nothing. He stood still in the same position he had been in for a few minutes now, merely waiting for Ace to make the first move. Oh, this is going to be very interesting he thought to himself, wanting to move but knowing he shouldn't.
  18. "Haven't you been paying attention? I'm a Nobody, we don't feel anything, so i regret nothing!" Gexln exclaimed. He raised Darkness' Sorrow and held it in a ready position, a confident smirk appearing on his face as he did so.
  19. Gexln walked down to his spot. He swung Darkness' Sorrow a couple of times, experimenting with the weight though he had no need to. He stood still in a position so that he could move from it quickly if he had to, but he would have stability in standing if he chose. He looked at Ace. He spoke calmly, "Fight at your full strength, don't hold back. I want to show you just how wrong you are about me" he said.
  20. Gexln thought a little more, then he held up a hand as if to say stop. "No deal. If you're not strong enough to win this tournament without help, then you don't deserve to win at all" he said, a slightly cold tone to his voice. He could feel the darkness at the edge of his fingertips, almost begging him to expose someone else to it. As much as he wanted to see Ace writhe in pain, he wanted the tournament to be a fair competition so that he could prove that he truly was the strongest.
  21. Gexln thought for a moment. He, too, crossed his arms. "And what will i get if i win?" he questioned, already thinking of something he'd be fine with settling for. He wasn't entirely sure he wanted to give a sample of his darkness, who knows what damage Ace could do with it? But at the same time, if he could get something out of it that was of equal or greater value to him, then he'd be okay with it.
  22. Gexln looked at Ace with a more serious expression on his face now. "My magic? You want to be able to use darkness? Do you even have any idea what darkness does to a person that can't control it?" he asked, a slightly angry edge in his voice as he asked. He stood up straight now. "Darkness will destroy you if you even attempt to use it and fail" he added.
  23. Gexln looked Ace right in the eyes. "Sure, i'll bet. I've got 300 Munny that says you'll win out of me and you" Gexln said, with a slight chuckle. In his eyes, it was a win-win situation. If he was right, he got some munny but was unable to advance, and if he was wrong he'd get to advance with a chance for the bigger prize.
  24. Gexln saw the look on Ace's face, but didn't quite follow what the expression meant. He assumed it was a smug one, probably from the way he saw the fight going Ace was starting to think he had a good shot of winning. Gexln continued looking at the fight, a smirk appearing on the corner of his mouth. I may break every bone in my body, i may die in the process, but i'm going to do my best effort to make sure that kid doesn't win he thought to himself.
  25. Gexln was studying the fight intensely. What had started off as mere entertainment seemed to be becoming rather serious, both competitors seemed to be going all out now, and Gexln was determined to not miss a single part of the action. He had to admit one thing; he was certainly taking both of them more seriously after the sheer determination they both showed. He looked down at Darkness' Sorrow, resting at his feet. Even with Darkness' Sorrow, how would i fare against either of them? he wondered, for the first time in years wondering just what he'd gotten himself into.
