  1. I am thinking if the sale lasts long, about picking up Dream Drop Distance since I haven't completed it yet (I watched all of the cutscenes though). Also I think when they said lower 48 states that they meant Hawaii and Alaska.
  2. If you have yet to pick up either of the Kingdom Hearts HD collections for PS3, or any of the other games in the series; then you are in luck! Square Enix’s North American online store is having a Kingdom Hearts series sale. Every Kingdom Hearts game is on sale with 30% off (the only exception is that chain of memories for GBA is out of stock). The Kingdom Hearts piano collection CDs are also 30% off, but the other soundtracks are at their normal price. This is a great deal considering you can get Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix Limited Edition for $20.99 USD (1.5 HD Remix is $13.99 USD). You also get 5 Square Enix store reward points with each Kingdom Hearts item that is on sale that you purchase, and free shipping with orders over $100 (if you are within the lower 48 states). Do you plan on picking up anything that is on sale? If so, feel free to talk about it in the comments. Source: https://store.na.square-enix.com/kingdom-hearts# Update: Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance for the 3DS, and Chain of Memories for GBA seem to have sold out. Instead of an add to cart option on the store, they have a waiting list option. No news on when Square Enix plans on restocking those two games, or if you can still get the discounted price when you are put on the waiting list.
  3. [Mild spoilers for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - Final Mix] This holiday I picked up a preowned PS3, KH 1.5 and 2.5, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 with some money I received. I played KH2 on normal and beat it, and then started BBS and decided I wanted a challenge. So I started it on critical as Ven. It was not particularly hard or easy, it seemed to be a good balance of both. I mean I grinded a lot and got about 10-20 levels higher than the world's level. But then I got to the second to last Vanitas boss fight. Dear Lord, I kept on getting floored and losing thirty seconds into the fight. Eventually by some stroke of luck I was able to defeat him, and then I started the last boss fight. I take back that last fight being hard, that was a piece of cake compared to this fight. My last attempt was January. I would have completed it by now, but I have been at college. So studies come first. But finals are next week. So you can bet that I am going to finish this game soon. So that was my first critical playthrough experience of a Kingdom Hearts game. What was yours?
  4. I'd like it to be on the PS3, but I agree that it should be on the same console of FF versus XIII. I have high hopes that it will also be on the Wii U.
  5. Have you even read/seen anything for Final Fantasy Versus XIII? It has no ties to XIII or XIII-2, it just uses the same engine. Look it up, it's going to be an amazing game. Everything XIII did wrong will be put right in FFversusXIII
  6. I'm throwing money at my monitor, but nothing is happening. What a great start to my most hated holiday. This made my day so much better, thanks for being so fast to translate it!
  7. Oh let's see if I can pull these memories from my brain. I heard about Kingdom Hearts (I still don't remember where), and thought it was cool. But I did not own a PS2, so I couldn't get it. My brother had a ps2 and his wife played Kingdom Hearts. So I played it a bit at their house. (for like 20 minutes) Then before one christmas my aunt called me and asked what game I thought my brother would want. I said Kingdom Heart 2. So that christmas, I opened a box to find a PS2 from my brother with a few games (Kingdom Hearts 1) and my aunt got me KH2. I was so excited, I played it there. I poped in KH2, and the opening movie kinda spoiled the first game for me. But never the less I played KH1 first and got close to beating it and gave up. Then I started KH2 and beat it. Finally I beat KH1 i was so happy. Then I got KH:COM for the GBA and I didn't get far; I hated the card system. Then later I picked up KH :RECOM and enjoyed it. Then Eventually I got days and got close to beating it but gave up, Still haven't played BBS or Re:Coded (though I did spoil the story for myself), but I hope to get BBS when I get a PSP. But like everyone else, I'm waiting for DDD. Long story, but that's how I got into Kingdom Hearts. I remember also watching these flash animation videos based on the first game. I forgot what they were called, but they were so funny. (One of my favorite quotes is; Kairi why is there Broccoli on your shirt?)
  8. Oblivion all the way. I love the darker side of the keyblade.
  9. Ever since the North American Tokyopop office closed up shop, I've been wanting the Kingdom Hearts Manga. I hope another company takes over.
  10. Don't take this as law or anything, because I doubt they would do this because announcing stuff and building tension helps sales. But maybe they aren't announcing anything because they're saving it for TGS when they have the game nearly complete? (Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance)
