  1. Those aren't technically the lyrics. Those are from an English cover made by AmaLee and Daniel. While they come close, a few lines were re-written to sound better in English. The actual lyrics (according to Funimation's official translation) are: Unknown are the names of the flowers that have been trampled Birds have fallen to the Earth and long for the wind. Prayers won't solve anything Only the will to fight can change the here and now! O pigs whole laugh at the resolve to walk over corpses and move forward Livestock complacency? False prosperity? Give us the freedom of dying, starving wolves! The humiliation of being caged is what triggers us to fight back We hunters slaughter prey beyond the castle walls consumed with surging bloodlust, as our crimson bows and arrows pierce scarlet holes into the twilight I hope that cleared up any confusion.
  2. What if the crown turned into keyblade armor? There needs to be an activation button somewhere if he gets it. Why not the crown?
  3. The reason they do that is because it helps hype up the anime. It helps spread the word that the concept exists. If you look on the main gargantia page on the wiki under manga, it clearly says that the manga is an adaptation of the anime.
  4. The manga is based on the anime, not the other way around. I know that's rarer than the reverse, but it's true. The manga will likely end at the exact same place.
  5. I hope there will be a second season, but the ending kind makes that seem unlikely to me. Oh well, still have those OVAs to look forward to.
  6. No Kyubey, you already destroyed my emotions watching other people. I'd pull a Sayaka the second I got involved.
  7. Wow... I never expected this thread to survive this long. This thread is almost two years old. I fully accept now that there are certainly parts of this that don't make sense. I still think that it's an interesting idea though.
  8. I tend to prefer dubs to subs, but I have nothing against subs. There are some shows that I do think need to be seen in a particular language to have the fullest effect, especially if it's cultural in nature. For example, I would recommend that any anime fan watch Baccano! in English simply because of the imersive 1930s accents. (If you have not seen Baccano!, GO WATCH IT). Funimation did an amazing job with that dub, and I consider it to be better than the sub. Conversly, I also consider the dub for Hetalia to be better than the sub because of the accents and the jokes tailored to western stereotypes instead of Japanese stereotypes. If a dub already exists for an anime, I will watch that first unless I do not like the dub, or 4Kids the dubbing company who shall not be named has laid their filthy mits on the property.
  9. Okay SE, I forgive you for the TWEWY trolling... for now. Don't mess this up. EDIT: Strategy game? Hmmm... this could be good. Looks like it might give out some Keyblade War info.
  10. Terra needs to be saved first, but that's an interesting concept if you apply it to Xehanort. I also honestly couldn't see Terra dual-wielding just because of his slow, hard hitting fighting style.
  11. All that buildup... for an iOS port. Why SE... why must you troll us so. I'm glad TWEWY is going to be getting more exposure, but still... Hopefully we might get a TGS announcement... maybe.
  12. I don't particularly like Kairi, but if she gets development out of this then I'm fine with it. The one thing I want personally out of this is a scene with Riku and Kairi. ALONE. WITHOUT SORA. For a so called "trio" Riku and Kairi don't have much of a relationship. The only time they have ever been alone together in the entire franchise was when Kairi was comatose in KH1, and in the secret ending, which doesn't really count since Kairi didn't get a line. As for the secret ending itself, I'm not a fan of it either. All it really did was say "Hey! We know Kairi exists! We haven't downgraded her! She's still important!" It didn't tell us anything new, and I was expecting something like the BBS or Re:coded secret endings. Honestly the secret ending really didn't get me exited at all, and it's the only one so far that has dissapointed me.
  13. Honestly, I think that a movie would be nice if it was not live action, but I doubt it would happen. I think the closest we're going to get is maybe a cameo in Disney's new Wreck-It-Wralph movie. (which would be pure awesome.)
  14. Just spitballing here, but... what if Riku is YMX(the origional one from BBS) from a different timeline? It would explain the whole voice actor thing, and why they look so similar. Plus, YMX time travels, so you never know what could happen.
  15. I just thought of something. I find it odd how he confirmed roles for Riku and YMX, but not the strange second Riku we see in one of the trailers. Was his roles in Re:Com filed as Riku and Riku Replica or was it just filed as Riku?
