it is actually confirmed it was going to be a KH game but Disney didnt want their characters to fight If that's the case then I love Disney... I think Dissidia turned out better than a Kingdom Hearts version would've, but I'm just bias (I like Final Fantasy better than Kingdom Hearts). I can see Disney's reasoning though, they don't want people beating the snot out of Mickey lol.

Why is everyone getting so anxious to know what this is about?... I mean, if you guys think that it's going to be something big, then I'm jealous of everyone's optimism. (I don't mean to be rude, but I'm just saying...)

That's true, I just think he's more likely to include more characters from the Final Fantasies that he designed the characters from, before he really dips into the ones that he didn't design. He hasn't included any characters from FFXIII yet so I think some characters from that game that will make an appearance first (He seems really attached to Lightning). But like you said, He did include Setzer (And Vivi) so he's not totally against using them, and who knows maybe he has gotten attached to the older characters since he did the re-designs in Dissidia and Duodecim. Like I said in my earlier post though, I want to see Balthier, but I don't see him getting added. So I think for KH-3D we'll just see a new character or two from FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, or FFXIII, but that's just me.

Well I guess Sora getting the Keyblade because Riku was succumbed to darkness on Destiny Islands is the real reason then, because Sora getting the Keyblade from Ventus wouldn't match up because there would be a gap in the story where Sora wouldn't be able to wield the Keyblade, while Roxas was roaming around with Ventus's heart. I was personally hoping that Sora's ability to wield the Keyblade was because of Ventus resting inside of him, I thought that made for a more interesting story plot. It would've been cool if they did it this way, and made Sora able to wield his own Keyblade by doing the Mark of the Mastery or something along those lines. I guess there's no reason in talking about it anymore since it isn't true though. (Thanks again for clarifying some key-plot points for me though, I appreciate it.)

Sorry for all the questions, but on the kingdom hearts wiki entry, it says that Ventus's heart going inside of Sora is the reason Sora is able to use the Keyblade... but how does Sora use the keyblade if Ventus's heart is left behind in his "old" body? and no longer connected with Sora's heart. (Disconnected between the end of Kingdom Hearts and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II) (Also, thanks for all of the answers, I love this series so I obviously love understanding it better. ^^) Edit: Man, looking at the wiki it kind of contradicts itself. on one post it says that Sora is able to use the keyblade because Ventus is in his heart, but on another post it says that Sora gets the keyblade because it was meant for Riku (because of the ceremony Terra did on him), but it went to Sora because Riku already succumbed to darkness on Destiny Island.

It's not your body that turns into a Heartless, it's your heart. The Heart gets enveloped in darkness and turns into a Heartless. The body that's left behind becomes a Nobody. Ven's heart was still inside Sora, so when Sora's body turned into Roxas, Ven's heart changed it to look like Ven, which is why Roxas looks like Ven. Ven and Sora's hearts were next to eachother, and Kairi's was next to them as well. Ohhh is that why Roxas has "feelings"? because technically he has a heart? (So Sora got a "new body" since his old is the nobody? that's kind've weird. lol) Also, so at the end of Kingdom Hearts Sora "absorbed" Roxas, does that mean that Ventus's heart is back inside of Sora's then?

I don't really understand this, if Ventus's heart was seperate from Sora's heart then how does Roxas looks like Ventus's body if Ventus's heart was unaffected? I thought Ventus's heart was melded with Sora's or "Inside" of Sora's, so that's why Roxas looks like him because Ventus's heart was temporarily released along with Sora's? And if Ventus's heart was inside of Sora, while Sora released his and Kairi's heart, how did Sora's body turn into a Heartless if Ven's heart was still in there? His body should've just looked like Ventus's while Sora's and Kairi's heart was out. (EDIT: I'm asking this, not telling this... big difference.)

I think characters from FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, and FFXIII are more likely since Nomura is pretty attached to the characters that he has designed.

Onion Knight isn't really a FF character, just someone they added into Dissidia to represent FF III, just like Warrior of Light. (Onion Knight was only a class in FF III)

The same way they put Yuna in from her X-2 costume... Yuna's costume isn't that revealing, but by Disney standards it is.

I know he's not on the list, but I think Balthier would make a good addition. I get nervous when they include a Final Fantasy character on Kingdom Hearts, I feel like it's either a hit or miss. I mean if they included Balthier as a "kid-version" like Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka, then I would hate it... Lulu would be great aswell.

It's pretty unlikely that they'll make any new KH games on those platforms with the 3DS and NGP on the way... I agree though, they shouldn't make fans buy every console on the market... So far we have PS2, GBA, DS, PSP, 3DS, "Maybe NGP" ,and most likely a PS3 for KH3.

Well, I meant at least 1 game per year, I'm sure Nomura wouldn't hold off on a game because he had a release this year, because he said only two games till KH3 and I don't see him leaving a 2+ year gap in-between. So I still stick with BBS V2- this year KH 3D- next year KH3- 2013

I'm going to be optimistic and say that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be around in 2013... I could be wrong but didn't Nomura say that he wanted a Kingdom Hearts game to come out every year? and also I think he said that he had only two other games coming out before KH3. (So I guess KH3D and BBSvol2?)... so my predictions are... Birth By Sleep volume 2 - This year, probably won't take that long if they use the same engine as BBS. Kingdom Hearts-3D - 2012 Kingdom Hearts 3 - 2013 (Also, isn't it fishy that Versus XIII has been in development for the longest time? It would be cool if the team was working on KH3 and Versus XIII at the same time, and that they are just keeping quiet... but yeah, that's most likely not the case)
