  1. The little dream Xehanort. Right at the end. For like two seconds only. Smirking like hell.
  2. Ah... I'd download mp4, just NOT from YouTube. Anything that touches YouTube instantly just.... becomes a puddle of goo. So I stick with the wmvs. I only use stuff like KeepVid if I really have to. But I have no problem with nice, high quality mp4s and wouldn't mind downloading them directly without KeepVid as a middle man. My program/my codecs really haaaaaate me when I start trying to make music videos and half of what I want to use are wmvs and half are mp4s. I kick them and tell my program to work anyway, even if it involves resaving small portions of clips into another format when they refuse to sync with one another.
  3. . . .'the high-swinging Hunchback of Notre Dame's name isn't Claude. It's Quasimodo. That's Frollo's first name. This article they've made is highly erroneous, as if they've never even seen the movie. @_@
  4. Your definition of 'a few times a day' and 'lots of times a day'. For someone with no life... well, I could be checking it more. Then again, considering I have no life, I'm probably check in way more than the average person. >_>" It's rare that someone else finds something first and hands it to me. By the time I see an announcement on tumblr, I usually already knew about it. And by the time my friend's reblog it? Old news Those scans? Oh yeah, neat. I saw them at like 2am. Yesterday. /noliiiiiife
  5. I was just thinking about it the other day... how things were going to be recorded. If we can find someone who can record the game as soon as it's out in high quality like this, then I'm willing to donate $20 via PayPal. I know that's only like ¥1,631~ but it's something. I'm totally serious. Someone get back to me on this.
  6. Some things can't possibly happen and are there for gameplay only. It's not something the character should actually remember. A good example would also be the Mirage Arena battles. In KH2:FM, for example, Sora can go fight Terra's armor. Did that really happen? No, because it's outside the plot of the game. And yet, some would say yes, because there was a scene that went along with it, even though it didn't connect to anything. The same could be said about the added Unknown (Xemnas?) fight in KH:FM in Hollow Bastion. Getting to that scene takes the game out of chronological order. On a normal playthrough, Sora wouldn't have gone back to even find that battle. The Mysterious Figure in Birth by Sleep is sort of the same: You can't fight him until you unlock him. You can't unlock him until after you've beaten the game. So could have even happened within the storyline? Nope. It's not canonical. What about the entire Sephiroth tangent in KH2? Some players may never go back and beat him, but because there are scenes related to it and it effects the position of NPCs afterward, I'd say it's canonical. Battles that can be repeated are never canonical: You can fight Vanitas' Remnant as many times as you want. It has to be unlocked, and it's there for a test of skill. Which begs to question: Does the boss really exist as a character inside canon? Sephiroth > Yes. Terra's armor/Lingering Sentiment > Well it's still laying about somewhere, isn't it? Is it actually sentient? Hell if I know. Unknown > Yes. Xemnas. Mysterious Figure > Yes, Nomura has more or less explicitly pointed him out to be the young!Xehanort in KH:3D. Vanitas' Remnant > ??? No? Vanitas shouldn't have been able to leave such a thing behind when he disappeared. If it follows the trend of past bosses, though, anything is possible.
  7. Haaaaaaxxxxxxxxx. I call haxx. *coughcough* You're right, of course. Disney logic is infallible.
  8. All that said... I highly doubt they really could have gotten off the islands if they actually had set sail on their raft. (Dream transportation is one thing, their reality is another.)
  9. Can't believe people here are being so closed door-ed about this. I even have it on my journal on deviantart right now. If you don't have half an hour right now: Wait until you do. In the half hour it took me to watch it, ten thousand more people had reblogged it on tumblr. Eight hours later that number had rose to 200 thousand. It deserves the attention it's getting for a reason. Don't get annoyed when you keep seeing it pop up if you haven't seen it yet. When you do, you'll understand why.
  10. There are a few other things people should catch: the scene where Riku and Kairi turn into Terra and Aqua? Riku has long hair like he did in KH2, even though his KH2 model has short hair in Yen Sid's tower. When Sora is looking at Namine/Xion? He's in his KH2 clothes. I find it interesting. Many, many things changed from the early Birth by Sleep trailers. In the actual release, some scenes changed locations or were removed completely.
  11. In the modern era, spelling is almost a non-issue with spell check readily available. Grammar itself is excusable. If your sentence structure is confusing, that's fine, I'll just assume English isn't your first language. But if you're not even trying to use proper capitalization and punctuation, in an effort to save time? I'm just going to save time and probably not respond to you. Making first impressions with total strangers is important. It's not just for school, it's for the real world. I'm not going to take you seriously if you act like you don't care. I really hope people don't shuffle around and mumble without coherent ends and beginnings to their sentences in real life. tl;dr - I laugh at the people who don't even try. And not in a good way. If you're like me, you might appreciate this YouTube series: http-~~-//youtu.be/elGo8OvZaxk
  12. Prior to this site I was never really active on any forums either. I'm still not that active, but it's nice to drop in and leave my two cents sometimes. I like this site for it's news. Huge bonus to be able to discuss the newest news with others on the forums. Enjoy your stay!
  13. Tornados form in certain climate zones only, it would seem. Hurricanes are tornados aren't the same, as hurricanes start out at sea. Usually both form over areas with relatively flat ground. Areas with mountains can have hurricanes sneak up on them from the coast, but tornados won't start there, no. I live in Washington state on the pacific coast of the U.S. and we don't get tornados here at all. If it's a really hot, dry summer sometimes we'll get good sized 'dust devils', though. And they can get quite large and lift light things into the air, but usually coming in contact with a single tree or building destroys them. We have more to worry about from earthquakes where I live than tornados. =/ I feel for the middle of the country, though. I've got relatives in Iowa and they're stuck with tornados almost every year without fail.
  14. Once I nearly got what would have been only a temporary ban at a site just for posting some helpful information about how the game worked. Which Pokemon is that egg going to hatch into? Well the source code tells you exactly what the name of the egg's image is, which is a number of the Pokemon it's hatching into - duh. But I got a warning for posting something that obvious and had to remove it. It's not really cheating if anyone who can read can right click and view the page's source code. =/ But whatever. And once on an online game my account got frozen for who knows what, but I was hacked, and after only a day of talking to a GM everything was fixed and all my stolen stuff was recovered. Yay. =3 That's not saying I don't actually cheat/exploit the system on some online games. Oh, I do, on occasion. But cheating takes the fun out of games where you're supposed to 'earn' something so I usually opt not to even if I know it's possible. It's not always safe, either. If I want to keep playing a game and enjoying new content then I can't just go out and do something I might get caught doing. The smart thing to do would be to report a flaw in the design, not abuse it. Ah, botting. *chuckle* Honestly, if one's smart enough to set up a macro bot themselves it almost makes it seem fair, they're just using their intelligence to their advantage. I've done that a few times but only games where I really didn't care if I got caught or not. I did it just to see that I could. Screw the game's economy. If I can get banned for things I didn't do, it's more amazing to note the things I don't get banned for. Not currently actively playing anything online right now, though...
  15. That looks like it's a 3D mesh on top of a REAL surface. I think they might project Traverse Town into a large room - in reality. That'd be a real crazy feat. Imagine talking to a character, life size, on a wall. With the programmers and voice actor watching the room's participants interact with, say, the Sora on the wall. He could smile and answer questions. That'd be... nuts. But it'd be just like Japan to do something that insane. Am I overthinking this? Could this be a possibility?
  16. Yes, yes it does feel like that. Be there to say 'I told you so'. The things you say now to her are important, because even if she's not acting like she's hearing you now, she'll remember it later. If she gets hurt, let her know she can always come back to you. It's okay to tell her that you just want her happy and leave out the (but not with him) part, because that's only a partial statement. So long as she remembers that she can come back to you, and so long as you don't make a total dick out of yourself due through jealousy, she'll remember that you respected her right to choose who she wants to be with, even though it was obvious you wanted to be with her.
  17. It is incredibly odd to have a digital world inside a dream world. The plot of that world is difficult to put into play, too. I hear they're trying to make another Tron movie, anyway. Maybe there'll be a tie-in?
  18. I personally hate any face that's replaced with a smily-face by a forum or a messenger. I avoid those faces at all costs. Many of my faces have 'kitty' aspects, because... I'm like that. -w-? And I have many varieties of the same face, too... -w- http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png;; ;_; T_T T.T TwT =3 x'3 >3 >D D< >/ o.o! owo~? >_< >_o x_x o_O ^w^ ^.^ http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png ^^ ~<x3 =/ =| ... Notice that some of those were changed from text to pictures by the forum. It means I will never use them here, because I have alternatives.
  19. ...as if I ever get off the site. I open it up, leave it open, and hope something magical happens between then and the time I decide to refresh the page at least ten more times later that day. Story of my life. As for making the list bigger........ Well, what more can I do? I always acredit all the news I hear as being from here whenever I write a blog/journal about it on more than one site. Other than kicking people and going 'Hey, actually join the site. >3', nope, doing all I can. And I suppose I could do that, too.
  20. Introvert. And since it's relevant to something that floated past my dash on tumblr a while ago... I can’t say ‘I don’t bite’. If you break any number of these simple rules multiple times, especially within a short amount of time, I am liable to bite. Metaphorically speaking. I’m friendly, not necessarily your friend, especially if you are not being respectful. I’m not shy when I just have nothing to say. And some types of people just tend to annoy the hell out of me. But no matter how much they do, if I like even the smallest thing about them, I will tell them otherwise and deal with the annoyance until I’m immune to it.
  21. Indeed. Good job! *flails* I might have to color my entry after all.
  22. Good list... then a giant wall of text. Try dividing that into paragraphs? More people might attempt to read it. I thought I should let you know that Nomura did more or less confirm that the Mysterious Figure is the young Xehanort (albeit in a very round about way) on his January 16th? interview a while back: It was posted on the forums earlier, so here's a link (it's in the first post in one of the text boxes, you'll have to do some scrolling or just search for 'mysterious'). *points to the top of the page* Interview archive link is at the top of every page at KH13, you can also find it that way. I also think that, yes, Xehanort would like Sora to understand what he's actually after and actually decide to assist him. There has always been a large communication gap between Sora and whomever he's fighting. Sora is a tad naive and believes easily things he is told, as if he's not used to people lying. If Xehanort can make him believe anything, good or bad, truth or a lie, it'd still be in his favor. Even if Sora doesn't willingly assist him, there are always plenty of ways to trick him into doing just that.
  23. I've done it before, but admittedly, you're going to need a PSP with custom firmware and a plugin called RemoteJoy. If your official firmware is too far updated it gets near impossible to install custom firmware over it. I'll leave you to your own research? Custom firmware in itself shouldn't be considered illegal, but some of things you can do with it is. All you want to do is have your PSP screen on your computer screen, and that's not a bad thing. But... yeah. Pretty sure those who record from their screens did so with a hacked psp given custom firmware and the RemoteJoy plugin.
  24. What is above the Heartless symbol? It looks like a key... but that's not the usual key symbol the series uses, right? I've never seen it before, whatever it is. o_o The top picture isn't so good because of the glare, but the second picture shows it a bit better. It's also on the ds, the stickers, a few other places... its the crown on top of the usual key, I think... but to confirm: We've never seen this before?
