Hmm, well... I think at that point, he should have already been dead so many times over that he just didn't care anymore whether he was around or not. People were already so used to having to say goodbye to him... and maybe he actually wanted to be dead but no one ever let him stay dead. Someone else should be in charge of saving the world.

I played the games in the order they were released (mind you, I never actually played Re:coded or finished 358 Days - but I DID watch a playthrough), and everything was crystal clear to me. I think people may be very confused if they don't read the reports you collect in-game and actually look at their journal. Literally everything is explained in summary form in those journals, you just have to keep in mind they were written by characters who may have been misinformed or running on theories alone (DiZ, I'm looking at you).Parts may appear contradictory, but that ends up being both intentional and integral to the plot - Ansem not being Ansem, a 14th Organization member, whether Nobodies can feel emotions/have hearts.BBS - What made you think you can trust him? Xehanort is bad. KH1 - Who knew darkness was bad? Ansem is bad. And Riku nearly became the next Terra. Sora has awesome dumb luck at winning the day. CoM - No one's going to remember you but Riku, Namine. Oh and Ansem's back. 358 - Definitely no one is going to remember you, Xion. Roxas likes icecream. Ventus cameo. No mention of Vanitas. KH2 - Did we forget about Kairi? Too busy to tell her we still exist? Yup. Hey did you know Ansem was Xehanort? Also, Xemnas. And we have anti!form. coded - So apparently data and stuff is contradictory for reals. Maybe we can help people from the prequel now that we know they existed. DDD - Random Vanitas cameo. I'm sure this will have no impact on reality. Right? Right...?? Oh hell no... why did we end with that?Which very clearly leads me to believe: KH3 - Nooooooooo. Xehanort, WHY? Oh, but Kairi is useful now, kk. No, in all seriousness, I understand the series way better than that, but so long as people can understand the above, they're doing pretty good.

Soooo.... old recordings of Billy Zane instead of re-recording Richard Epcar? I approve. But I wouldn't blame them if they did want to re-record. I'm still so attached to Xehanort's Heartless's old voice, though... but I would have supported their need for consistency. I'm indifferent at this point, but slightly happier that they're keeping the old recordings. My bias is showing. ~

I felt the same way about re:CoM this time around. What could they possibly do? The models were already a huge improvement from KH1, all the really did for the HD remix was retexture the walls and some of the magical attacks. I'll take a closer look when I can, because I'll know if they made any improvement on the models based on Xehanort's Heartless, since he underwent some highly noticeable updates.With Birth by Sleep, I feel the same way. Can those graphics be pushed any more? Maybe we'll get some extra scenes? More Vanitas would always make my day, they had some extra information included in the novelization that they could present, but it was all pretty minor. The controls need to be updated for the PS3, I just wonder what a shoot lock is going to feel like with a controller!KH2... Ahh... well, obviously, model updates. Riku will be at least 20% hotter than he already was. They might take a few lost features into consideration from KH1 (there was an 'assist' button in KH1 that could make Donald and Goofy attack your current target... in KH2 that system got replaced with a smarter A.I., but no way to force them to drop their targets and come to your aid). Coded/re:Coded - even more scenes that can be made into real scenes, yes~? I hope this is theater-mode only like 358 Days.Do you suppose we'll get some co-op features, like we had in Birth by Sleep? Online play would be awesome, even if just for coliseum and special boss fights.

*yawns and stretches* Good morning, KH13~ The videos survived the night and I've got all but days 255 and 321 ready to go (these were cut in half and need to be remerged, day 255 is about 34% done.) But since the rest are ready to go up on YouTube, I'll get on that.I added a list of videos to the description of the first video, and you can also search for the tag "358unlisted" on tumblr.Once again, I'm happy just to provide these and don't need credit. Go forth and subtitle, parody, gmv and gif make to your heart's content.As some of the others have said, I also recommend backing up a copy of all this with a YouTube downloader. If the worst happens and they get removed, anyone is welcome to reupload them (and if you fix my poor attempt at cropping while doing so, all the better - there's a chance I can fix it with a YouTube tag for viewers, so I'll check, but the source file is still probably going to need to be manually cropped).So, within half an hour you'll have more videos!

That remains to be seen. I haven't gotten the chance to see more than the first twenty minutes of that myself!I just found another stream that I'm starting to rip from, but I'm hesitant to tell people about it in case it gets removed before I get the chance to get all of it. This guy may also talk through his gameplay, making it imperfect in comparison to what I've got with Days.The best answer in this case is - I dunno, maybe. How fast this and other sites work to get stuff uploaded will probably influence my decision. I don't want to keep all the fun to myself! I'm dying to show my friends stuff from these streams, but we all have to sleep sometime - and last time I slept, I woke up to find the stream's channel removed. >_< I'm more careful this time and I'll try and I'll have my laptop running hot all night recording, converting, compressing and dividing files. There's only so much that can be automated with out me there watching what my laptop's doing.My final problem is that while I'm decent at translating spoken Japanese, I can't read it, well, at all. I don't know what the best name is for these files, so they may end up kinda poorly named.If I -do- grab scenes from KH1FM I may only do so selectively - if it's relevant to the plot in some way. (If it has Riku or Kairi in it, I'll probably want it for myself!)I'll -probably- want to do side by side comparisons of old to HD scenes. Awesome. Days 74 to 94 just finished compressing, so I'm uploading that video now and I'll add it to my list shortly.There are about three hours of scenes, but every seven minutes or so takes a minute to compress. I'm uploading in chunks that (somewhat?) make sense (so long as they're labelled), and I'm just glad I can divide into smaller chunks and compress at the same time. (And that's the only reason I'm not uploading one massive video at full quality. The program I use to make gmvs for fun can't handle so much awesome, and if any one else was of similar mind, these are easier to rip from YouTube and crop than one massive video.) I looked at how you guys have been doing your videos for resolution, bit rate, etc and kind of tried to go for that. The audio quality isn't as great, because I decided I wanted to compress it a tad more (because it's mute for use in gmvs, anyway).I think I made Sora96 nervous with my talk about doing this or something. I can't tell. If Sora96 is reading this, I'm sorry! =| I just really, really wanted to do all this, even though I know I didn't have to.Anyone is free to take and use these for whatever, if they want to subtitle them or make gmvs, etc. I'm pretty sure they can be lined up fairly well to the in-game scripts you can find on various walkthrough sites, but there may be a few new scenes that lean towards the manga that had no presence in the original game at all (I'm not sure - I'll be honest: I never played it all the way through).

As far as my friends are concerned, I'm the one who knows everything about Kingdom Hearts and I'm the only one who needs to check online for information or news for it. If that want to know something, they come to me, rather than look stuff up themselves. No one offline is as into the series as me, sadly. I do have tons of online friends, though. I could do more to bring them here, but even I hardly do anything on the forums. I actually should, because this is actually a pretty big site and someone always seems to be online. I mean, seriously, how busy is this place going to get in a couple weeks once the new HD scenes with the nicer models and new scenes from the Days theater mode start showing up? I can't even think of a number off the top of my head, but how many people have you guys ever seen logged in at once on the chat? I know I've seen it at over 60.

I think a lot of people are slow to really think about this, but I've never minded. I always try to consider Roxas as being at least 16, even if he should only technically be Sora's age. Sixteen is the age of consent where I live, and I was in a relationship with someone three years older than me and had to make sure no one was going to throw a legal hissy fit over it, so I bothered to look it up. Your parents still have a say in most everything until you're 18, but at 16, you can at least speak for yourself in court and you're considered old enough to comprehend large life decisions. Incidentally, though, my favorite relationship in this game has to do with Xehanort's Heartless and Riku. I don't go out of my way to treat it as a sexual relationship, but on the same terms as the above, considering the younger party to be older... Riku at 18? It -is- okay, then. If there's nine to ten years between Roxas and Axel, then make a reality check based on Terra's age to Riku's. I'd say it's eleven or twelve years apart, but consider both pairings are way past a sane four year age gap, where is the line of hypocrisy drawn?We already our fun with 'Do Nobodies age?' and got rudely awakened to the fact that yes, they do - look at Zexion. I can't say Heartless do not age. Then again, I can consider them to be monsters, and we all know how much society loves vampires with teenagers. Edward and Bella, and everyone just looooooooved that. =_=On a final note, to anyone who has ever liked Sephiroth and Cloud together? You're also looking at the same ten year gap.

To me it sounds like they're more interested in just bombing the location where the U.S. military is supposedly stationed in neighboring South Korea.Sadly, North Korea's international relationships are complicated and no one knows quite how to deal with them, because their current mindset is twenty years or more outdated, and has been superimposed upon the next generation. It's a new generation of the same old mentality. They don't yet realize how small they are and how much we really didn't care about them, so long as they don't ruin the planet for everyone with radiation from technology they're also behind on.We want to be friendly. We want to help feed their poor. We want to let them do whatever they want, really, we do. They're threatening ~us~? Are they out of their mind? Do they think they can rule the world from that tiny country? Do they think the world can even handle being run by one country? It can't. Even if we can all get along, power is a delegated process. If he wants a say in how the rest of the world is run, he should start by taking care of his own country and thinking about their needs.The truth is, it's widely believed they actually don't have the ability to launch an attack on the mainland U.S. - while we DO have the capability of decimating them without putting a single person on the ground. We have drones. We actually know how missiles work. But we don't really want to attack them. There are a lot of innocent, frustrated, and brainwashed people over there who'd love to just have a peaceful life like the rest of us. We don't want to get them all involved so hastily, whereas they seem to have no qualms about threatening us when we're not even remotely doing anything. We're capable of it. We have no actual desire to.We'd like to give the new leader a chance. We were hopeful. He may be in charge, but in most ways, I think he also falls puppet to his father's own military, and there's a different figurehead encouraging all of this. I wish we could think of a way to open their eyes and give them a different perspective, but the world isn't such a simple place. If he keeps this up, I give him five years, tops. If he keeps this up, someone is going to lose their patience with him. But we're the ones with more technology, so that's the bottom line.I was really hopeful last week when the basketball player hung out with him, that everything would start heading in the right direction.
