    Take a look at the original beta trailer for any KH game and you will see that assets are created for demo purposes and are then discarded more often than not. It's possible that they will be used but we'll just have to wait and see.

    People will make the games they want to play and they have every right to. I understand the desire for more strong female characters and stories which is why those who are advocating for more should feel inspired to join the industry.

    I always thought Ven had a spikier chin plus I know they made roxas' face look more like sora's in the HD remix.

    I'm a little butthurt that this has been circulating before many people have even had a chance to touch the game. Naturally I haven't watched it or anything and I know it's been hinted at in interviews before but I really would have liked to have discovered it myself. Polygon had the pleasure of revealing it to me in a tweet yesterday.

    Kingdom Hearts owes its very existence to both franchises. To take them away would take away a lot of the magic. I could see them developing only original worlds and characters but it wouldn't be the same.

    VIII has always been my absolute favorite of the series.

    Basically the original Chain of Memories.

    That's right. The one in the original KH and in KHII are fabrications made from hearts gathered from the living. They're powerful but nothing compared to the real thing. The one true kingdom hearts exists along side the living. At least, that's how I understand it.

    As far as I understand it, there is only one true kingdom hearts. It's the blue one seen briefly at the end of BBS. As far as the actual entity that Kingdom Hearts is, I believe it is the composition of all hearts that have, do, and will exist. It is a power normally hidden from view but made manifest during special circumstances. So when kingdom hearts is present your heart exists within you but also as part of kingdom hearts at the same time.

    Who really knows? All I'm saying is that they supported it and that support stacks up.

    It wouldn't be free without the support of companies like Square. I'm a student about to enter the industry(hopefully). The fact that this engine is now free is great news and I owe Square and others great thanks for it.

    The thing you have to realize about Mario or any other Nintendo IP is that their exclusivity on Nintendo consoles brings in lots of money for the company. And being that Mario is the de facto mascot of Nintendo, discontinuing those games would likely ruin Nintendo.
