  1. This one's been cooking for quite a while, so I'm super happy to be posting it... Performances were by David Russell and Piano Game Knight, two awesome pianists. I'm very happy with the result
  2. Hey yall, just wanted to share this little side project of mine, a KH texture mod for Among Us. It's pretty simple so far but I've been having a blast with it. Download Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... Tutorial on how to apply the mod will be below! First of all, you must have the PC version of the game, the mod can't be installed on mobile! All you really need to do is open the Steam page, click on the Settings icon/Manage/Browse Local Files. Then, copy/paste the two files downloaded from Google Drive into the "Among Us_Data" folder! Very simple. If you want to revert to the normal version of the game, all you have to do is uninstall and reinstall it from Steam. Let me know if you try it out and what you thought of it ^^
  3. Thank you! I had a ton of fun working on this and can't wait to record the next episode
  4. Very quick video this time, and honestly this was more of a test than anything. I'm a bit rusty on the flute but I plan to make a lot more flute covers from now on ^^
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy9n-ZK_H60 Welcome to episode 1 of Sound Ideas everyone! In this debuting episode, Green Requiem joins me to talk about all the different composers and arrangers involved with the Kingdom Hearts series, as well as some other miscellaneous topics! I have been working on the concept of this series for quite a while, so I'm very happy to finally release the first episode. If you guys like podcasts, I hope you'll give this one a shot and subscribe to the channel
  6. This is a really cool idea, and I've seen lots of people throw it around before, so kudos to youfor making it! I really like how it sounds. Is that a very slight hint of Xion's theme I hear at some points as well? ?
  7. As Xion told Naminé, she believed Roxas should also return to Sora, but he had no way of understanding it yet. I think she trusts that once he understood he'd make the right choice and return to Sora. Xion understands that this would be the right choice because Sora had no fault in their situation: She felt it in her heart that both she and Roxas belonged back with him. She also knew that Roxas was completely out in the whole subject, he had no idea who he was, why he was there, who Sora really was... Xion wanted to give him his time to discover these things about himself and make that decision, just like she did. And once Naminé explains it to him, and he gets face to face with Sora, he does understand and make the choice to return. Xion didn't really want to absorb Roxas at the end, but if she didn't act hostile, Roxas would hold himself back. I think this is clear because, logically, there's no way Roxas could have beaten her when she had absorbed most of his power and was amplified by the Organization Devices, plus whatever Xemnas did to her in day 356 (Which still isn't really clear, and may be the answer to why she attacked Roxas at all; Maybe she was ordered to by Xemnas and had no say in the matter). Xion knew that by absorbing Roxas, she'd play right into Xemnas's plan and make it impossible for Sora to wake up, which is why she chose to hold herself back until Roxas defeated her. This isn't explained in a secret report, but can be inferred by context (And perhaps it's confirmed in an interview or something). Xion believed that Roxas belonged with Sora too, not out of cruelty towards him, but because she knew Sora was their true self, and he needed them both to return to him in order to wake up. She believed this would make them whole (although this sentiment wouldn't really be accurate later own, as we learned they still suffered due to not being able to be their own people). She also wanted Roxas to foil Xemnas's plans of completing Kingdom Hearts, but I don't think she expected Roxas to go on a literal suicide mission into The World That Never Was, which is why she calls out to Riku during their fight and pleads him to stop him (she knew he wouldn't survive it).
  8. Fool. Wherever you are, I miss your gimmick

  9. Thank you! I've always been fascinated by the reach fan arrangements can have and how they shape our perception of the source material. I'm super happy to get more people thinking about it!
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2KGcuh07rw In this video, I will be tracing the connections between 52 different versions of Xion’s theme, following the journey from when her battle theme was called “Dirge of the Fourteenth”, until today, where we know it as “Vector to the Heavens”, establishing how there are many hidden influences between all these versions, including some of the official versions included in the games. I did a LOT of research for this video, and although there were some issues with the editing, I'm still very excited to share the results. I know it's a very long video this time, but if you're a fan of KH music, I believe you'll find it very interesting I also tried to make this one as easily digestible to those unfamiliar with musical terms, as possible. I hope you enjoy it!
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QXf5led4eY Been working hard the last few weeks to bring everyone this video! With the help of a few people, we've been able to recreate the Master of Master's theme from KH X Back Cover pretty faithfully. For a bit of context, this theme has not yet had a clear rip, due to the nature of Back Cover as a pre rendered movie. So far, the nly way to hear it was with sound effects, or attempts to remove them. Either way, I hope you all enjoy this!
  12. https://youtu.be/VuQm9MBrUUQ Here's an arrangement I made, inspired by Melody of Memory. It mixes several tracks including Dearly Beloved, Destati, and Kairi's theme into a single piece! Hope you guys like it edit: Idk how to embbed videos in posts anymore! haha
  13. Let's face it, this guy is pretty much our biggest mystery right now. Any hints we can find about him, we'll take it. And even if we don't find anything of note... well, it's always nice seeing what the thought process of Yoko Shimomura may have been when crafting this gorgeous piece. So I figured I'd analyze this theme piece by piece, and talk about my most interesting finds. Here they are! (If you feel like skipping some intro and contextualization stuff, feel free to skip to 2:19) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_zBFBdoues Also, apologies for the mic and voice quality this time. Couldn't do much about it, since I had to record it with my less than stellar phone lol. I think it gets the job done though.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_ZITsfrfTQ After working hard on this one for the last few days, it's finally done. Hope you guys enjoy it! It's been super fun to arrange this but I'm super glad it's done. This is an ear arrangement of Yozora Battle version- from Kingdom Hearts III: Re Mind. Instrumentation has been simplified for convenience's sake. Some liberties taken with the strings cause I'm not that good lol.
  15. Video premieres in about 30 minutes
  16. So I finally got my hands on this recording (We played this somewhere around November), and i was happy to finally post it. This was part of a VGM presentation I helped some friends with, my condition being that I could pick and arrange one track from KH. I picked this one cause it's hype af. I also managed to convince us to play Megalovania (Probably my favorite arrangement that I made that I've ever played live, was definitely SUPER fun!!!), which I'll probably post in the next few weeks. Anyway, hope you guys like this one! I was actually supposed to be playing the flute in this one, but had to switch to the piano when the pianist kinda refused to play it (He went on to play the percussion in this one instead, which was pretty vital for the mood so I'm actually happy about that!) . So I had to adapt some of the flute parts into the piano and didn't really have a bunch of time to practice for the piano specifically, so that's why I got a couple of slip-ups in there. By the way, if anyone thinks I've been posting too many threads advertising videos, let me know. In that case, I'll probably make a thread specifically for these. Anyway, let me know what you thought!
  17. So, I'm giving voiced videos a shot, starting by this one about some of KH3's less obvious musical easter eggs! The video premiers in about 3 hours (I've never done one of these live premier things before!), but in the meantime, I'd like to know, what are some hidden details or details YOU'VE noticed (In this game or others in the series)? Even something as simple as character motifs returning (Like Ven's theme having pieces of Sora's and Roxas's themes!) Would also love it if you guys set a reminder and joined for the premier of the video later! See you then!
  18. This one's been in the oven for a while and I'm proud to finally post it. Hope you guys enjoy it!
  19. Part 1 of a series of essays analysing all the official (and maybe even unofficial?) version of Xion's theme throughout and outside the series. Was my first time ever doing something like this, so I hope it's enjoyable enough! I think I did a pretty good job though. Let me know what you guys thought!
  20. Was pretty excited to cover this theme as soon as I could!
