Final Fantasy Main Characters SHOWDOWN
deathrebirthsenshi replied to XIIISwords's topic in General Discussion
Just jumped into this. TERRA!!! She's my favorite. People argue she's a weak character, but she becomes stronger later. I mean, she has the gall to tell Kefka to stop fooling around. No one tells that to Kefka. -
O_O OMG. Woah. That is amazing. I can't even articulate.

Does anyone else think this is adorable?

lsdfh'ajdfs'ojidsklnf'ljdsh'ofuhd'sohfi'sdjf'iosdjf' I'm sorry. I died from the cuteness. But don't worry, I came back to life. BUT SERIOUSLY THAT IS TOO CUTE!!^^ When you get married, you have to propose to each other with wayfinders. -
I think I'll pass. My heart just wouldn't be in it, you know? Haven't got one.

KH3D Is Young Xehanort a Seeker of Darkness?
deathrebirthsenshi replied to Helios X's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
If it were the case that YX had to go back and become these people...then I don't understand at all how forging the X-blade would work; because, realistically, they'd all have to go back to their own times as well. I feel like this whole time travel idea is overly contrived and wasn't thought out very well. I still love it though...sigh... -
Well, you have to fight the final bosses with Riku, so...

KH3D Nomura Rules vs. Disney Rules
deathrebirthsenshi replied to deathrebirthsenshi's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
It's almost as if Square has no idea how time travel works...like they just throw it in there to make a contrived plot device...hm...*cough*FinalFantasyXIII-2*cough* -
If Namine were norted, everyone would be screwed. I mean, she can control the memories of anyone connected to Sora. EVERYONE of importance in the series is connected to Sora! All of Xehanort's enemies would be taken care of and he would take over the world while everyone's stuck trying ot remember who they are...that or Namine just turns them all into norts too.

The first time, I knew nothing about how it would affect anything; I chose the staff because I love magic, and I gave up the sword because it sounded dangerous. I thought there was some morality thing going on (I mean, it says its a weapon of great strength yet destruction or something like that...). And magic is pretty awesome in kh1...until the keyhole's opened and all heartless get a boost, then magic is kind of useless except for cure, aero, and gravity. The second time around on critical, I chose the shield because that's what I thought Sora would choose (I'm sentimental about that stuff) but also because defense rocks. And I gave up the sword, 'cause most of those abilities aren't that fantastic. I didn't even realize you got guard earlier, but I am really glad you do. I started playing a second time in expert mode after coming from BBS, so I was still thinking I could cartwheel and barrier like Aqua...at least I could basic block. My brother chose the sword, and was struggling without it.

KH3D Nomura Rules vs. Disney Rules
deathrebirthsenshi replied to deathrebirthsenshi's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Well, I'm just going to assume that there are different methods of traveling through time. The only one Xehanort would have access to would be this method; I mean, who would trust Xehanort with time traveling powers? Merlin's old too, I'm sure he's been around and learned some other stuff. Then again, Merlin had a door stolen by Pete...not exactly trustworthy... I think Xehanort's found his thirteenth member...lol. -
Rules of Time Travel: You must leave your body behind... There must be a version of yourself at the destination... Upon arrival, you can only move forward in time... You cannot rewrite destined events, changing the set timeline is impossible... Or you can just be Merlin and have a fancy door. Seriously. What. Merlin can travel through time. He even has a door that let Sora, Donald, and Goofy travel through time. And you know what? MALEFICENT of all people almost changed the destiny of Disney Castle. What's Xehanort really been doing wrong this whole time? He's not a Disney Character.

At this specific point in time, at the end of DDD...I'd say Riku's the stronger one. It won't be long before Sora catches back up though. But Riku's done a lot of growth in this game, and is arguably the main protagonist in the same way that Aqua is often considered for BBS. Riku's personal growth as a person, I think, is slightly greater than Sora's so far, just because of all he's personally had to come over. Sora, on the other hand, is mostly about saving and helping out other people, which ironically led him right into the organization's hands all too easily. I feel like Sora will eventualy get more development as well as getting more powerful to defeat Xehanort. I also feel like the final battle will really end up testing Sora in different ways, as well as trying to save everyone connected to him; these "side games" have been more about everyone else, not Sora himself growing as much. Not that Sora hasn't done/dealt with a lot, but a lot of the time, he's just sort of wandering through and going forward a little aimlessly, the goals of saving the world in his head, but not being very proactive. In DDD, the 'Norts seriously wanted Riku dead, but they failed; A lot of the time, Sora is purposely being kept alive, allowing him to just sort of wander around aimlessly and do whatever comes to him. While pure of heart and having the best of intentions...Sora's a little slow. Thus, him getting captured and almost turned to the darkside. Okay, I'm done.

I doubt that would happen, just for the following reasons: Sora would never have met everyone he did, not even Donald and Goofy Roxas, Xion, and Namine would never have existed Lea would never have met Sora Kairi would still be in Hollow Bastion, never meeting Sora Sora and Riku would just be normal island kids, and who knows how they turned out without Kairi to fight over (probably go with each other...lol) Who knows where Ven would be, if he would even be a keyblade wielder, leaving Aqua and Terra a duo. Eraqus would be alive, Terra would probably never have had is struggle with the darkness because he never left, Aqua would just be awesome without an outlet. I could see Sora sort of struggling with this sacrifice, making everything undone, but...just for the fact of Roxas, Namine, and Xion never existing; that's sort of a permanent thing that couldn't be undone. It actually might be interesting to have the other situations--ie, Sora meeting Kairi for the "first time," Terra and Aqua being masters together and investigating things on their own, them eventually meeting Ven and making him a keyblade wielder...meeting Lea...meeting Donald and Goofy...starting at level 0 again ( ) Or perhaps, there are ghosts of what might have been in Ven, Roxas, and Xion...or perhaps they're born into the world anyway, proving that they were supposed to exist afterall? All of them in Twilight Town, Namine lives in the now-unabandonedmansion... I mean, if you can't change destiny...and, say, it was always Xehanort's destiny to die... I'm seriously thinking of writing a fanfic about this now...

Video KH3D Fandub Clip: Ansem's Will
deathrebirthsenshi replied to Ryusuke's topic in Random & Forum Games
The voices for Xion, Roxas/Ventus, and Ansem the Wise...were so legit, I didn't even realized they were fandubbed. Seriously awesome. Ansem the Wise could use a little more emotion, but the voice is strikingly similar. Riku's voice was good too lol. Just different. -
*Shakes head at Xehanort* (well, he technically didn't bring all villains back, only himself technically, but still.)I feel like after dealing with Xehanort, there would need to be a pretty good villain to get the main characters now. Hopefully, the main characters will now be experts at spotting trolling from a mile away... xehanort isn't that fantastic a villain. He'll be hard to top, but I feel like Nomura would be able to do it. I mean, dude, its Nomura.

They had better be releasing it in North America and other places, it would only make sense. But just to play one game...it might not be worth getting a ps3 if you really want a Wii U. Especially if you've already played the games.

I'm hoping January-March, but that might be a bit optimistic...I know they have a lot of Days scenes to do from scratch...but hopefully?
