KH3D Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Premiere Event coverage
keystrike replied to DChiuch's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
That video is a teaser in the truest sense. *stares at clock* 00 Days 21 Hours 52 minutes 3 seconds. And that's only when it starts. -
If you understand how industries work this article is easily believable (as in, before our reaction might have been: I don't believe how anyone could have wrote this.). Famitsu worships Final Fantasy just as IGN worships Halo/CoD. IGN knows what hooks people and what doesn't. That article, the person writing that article, what genre of the article was, IGN knows that nobody gives a cr@p about honestly going over the meaningful pros and cons in an article like this. We can all pick out all the fallacies of their argument, some of us can admit to some of these problems, and fewer still can recognize that its pointless arguing with a fool (especially amongst the hundred of other posts). (this totally ruins the tone but, whooh 777 lucky post!)

Thanks for clarifying. You might know this already judging by your post but for those that didn't know Nomura actually was going to have the letter that Mickey sent be read at the end of kh2.

KH3D Something about the Box Art
keystrike replied to Kingdomxhearts15's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think the difference between a cover such as days and kh3d is that days, along with kh1, kh2, coded, and com to an extent, is passive while the box art of kh3d and bbs to an extent actively has things happening (sorta like the using verbs of the form to be versus other verbs). A person will clearly be able to know more if somebody says "He broke your window" instead of "Your window was broken". This is the same deal except translated into pictures. So by that logic, we should be able to take more out of this than say the days' box art. -
umm, you just said Chain of Memory's gameplay was better than Chain of Memories. And that it had the worst story, isn't it usually considered to be very good story wise but the worst gameplay wise?
-
I don't know if I can agree with knowing what he is going to do 3/4, that's probably my lousy video game skills, but I can believe you all the way now. Thanks. (is thanks the right word? uhh, I think you get the idea)

I've seen recordings of No Heart, it pulls no where near as many cheap shots as the mysterious figure before it was tweaked in the Final Mix version. You're sorta coming off as bragging so explaining yourself more and not highlighting that 'whooh I finally fought a boss that began to challenge me' would really help. My opinion is reserved as of now. I enjoyed Terra's final boss a lot. Partly because of Xehanorts epic speech preceding it, but fighting to get back your body was just awesome.

KH3D Somthing that seems to have gone unnotice.
keystrike replied to TheKingdomkid's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Maybe Xehanort in one of his sick experiments was testing the effects of the coat on darkness. Or it could just not matter. But in all seriousness Oishi is probably right on the mark: -
If you heard it the first time (which would let that statement qualify as "all day") then why did you say it again. I just thought I'd save you the trouble of looking back to my earlier post on it. (on another note, if there is a thread already for a topic you usually don't make another one, but it looks like you just joined so live 'n learn i guess) I think both of the worlds could work conceptually but the thing with pixar is that disney bought it while dreamworks is still independent. If they were to use the road to el dorado, disney would need to get dreamworks first. As for the black cauldron I think the world might be too similar to the hunchback of notre dame. Well, actually I'm not sure. Either way, I would love to see that world eventually.
-
ehh, I explained in the other thread that that you see Riku dropping into the world that never was, so it is in the realm of sleep, and the dwarf woodlands was just a random area that was chosen to put the kh3d renders onto. KeyToTruth (the person who uploaded that video) probably just chose that area at random when attempting to show that the kh3d trailer ran on bbs's engine. (you should have a notifications box on the upper right hand corner of the website) Also because the mark of mastery will not take up the whole game and the mark of mastery consists of seven worlds we can expect to see at least one more world.
-
Birth by Sleep Final Mix contained data for kh3d because they used the BBS's engine for the kh3d trailer, and the movements of the characters were simply put in that area for the video. In the special trailer it shows Riku or Sora, I can't remember which, having a drop sequence in twtnw so it can be safely assumed that it will be in the realm of sleep. Nomura said that the MoM wouldn't last the whole game and because he also said that the MoM is freeing the seven sleeping worlds, there has to be at least one more world that isn't part of the exam that we don't know of. If the world that never was is the seventh world then I would expect Castle Oblivion/Land of Departure or Radiant Garden or the Dark Realm, uhh, I really don't know. If it is actually the eight world I wouldn't mind another disney world as long as its existence is more so bound to the realm of sleep (for example, the three muskateers couldn't be a world in the realm of light.)

Deleted content, very interesting!
keystrike replied to chrissaw99's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
For what its worth the DTD also appeared in bbs's data and if you pay close attention to one of the two scenes where Sora and Riku go into the secret place the screen goes white just as dialogue appears that is different from the 'complete' scene where they keep talking. -
KH3D King Mickey's Role in KH3D?
keystrike replied to woolfman1994's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
His role will probably be similar to bbs where he becomes more involved as the plot picks up. -
Is it true that there will be two more title before KHIII?
keystrike replied to Exodaze's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Nomura originally stated in the Birth by Sleep Ultimania that there would be two more games before kh3: Take note of a couple of things: First he says that in Blank points when Sora sets off for his journey this is planned to connect to kh3. This is vague speak for this is the begining of kh3 for your information. The advantage to it is that you can actually take it back and never really have told a lie at all. In other words, no kh3d existed at this time. Secondly, he says that he thinks that there will be more than one main character. With kh3d eliminated, and all of his plans to tell these untold perspectives, you put two and two together and come to the conclusion that this game was bbsv2. He goes into more detail when asked directly about it: This was before they had plans to do kh3d, and thus this was what was going to happen. You might remember an excellent theory grass had about seeing bbsv2 at e3 2011, but the problem with this was not recognizing the change in plans realized along with kh3d. Now take a look at this. Yes nomura corrects himself (he actually does this in another interview), but in this new plan he shifts the answer into an advertisement for BBSFM. Future developments hmm... KH3 YAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!.... No. Obviously the secret episode hinted towards a game about the blank points in the series. He previously hinted that the mystery game would help tie things together with new perspectives. -http://kh13.com/forum/topic/3207-kingdom-hearts-birth-by-sleep-famitsu-weekly-article/ ;December famitsu If you haven't caught my drift already what I'm saying is that after the one event (the concpetion and creation of kh3d) that could have eliminated this game they continue to hint towards it should be enough evidence that they've yet to toss the idea out the window I suppose a more intuitive less abstract reason would be that kh3 simply isn't going to release in the time to qualify for the game a year plan. If Versus is going to release late 2012, that leaves a mere year to complete the "biggest kh game since kh2." BBSV2 on the other hand would have most of the plot/scenario worked out by the time kh3 can even begin production. If I could come up with five thousand words of ideas to write for this game I can only imagine what Nomura has in his head. This would also be a side game both in content and well, in the true sense of the word (ie. the story takes place to the side of every main game.). I don't think this next part needs to be said, but Nomura knows all about rabid fans raving for kh3. He knows that the large majority are either indifferent or uneducated on the fact of the situation with versus and that talking about a mystery game when he could talk about how he is hoping to begin writing the arc's final battle soon. (And there's still more not very much, but still more). So yes, there is another title between kh3d and kh3. -
Is it true that there will be two more title before KHIII?
keystrike replied to Exodaze's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Let me just take a moment to point out that we have an interview archive right here before I'm nija'd again: http://kh13.com/interviews/ E3 2010 was june 14-17, so try to put some stuff together. After a bit you'll find there to be IMMENSE amounts of evidence for BBSV2. -
KH2 Kairi's Good Luck Charm a Wayfinder?
keystrike replied to Neku Sakuraba's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I suppose it is technically a wayfinder, but grouping them all together just doesn't seem 'right'. Its a good luck charm from one of the many island legends that spoke of an object fishermen used to keep for good luck on their voyage. Its origins are humble, and serves as much more of a symbol rather than an actual force driving the friends together. I have nothing against the wayfinders of bbs for once serving a purpose outside of the story, but between the magic that was put on them and their mystical origins from a far away world, they ironically lost something special in being special. In becoming a good luck charm that may connect hearts from afar what it lost were its humble origins and thus, in my mind, became a wayfinder. If Sora's good luck charm ever takes on an active role as the charms did in bbs calling it a wayfinder would sit 'right' for me, but for now, it doesn't. -
What do you think of the new Drop Gauge mechanic?
keystrike replied to Sora96's topic in Poll of the Week
I didn't particularly like having to have three plus game files in bbs, mainly because it was so easy to overwite your data (that you spent hundreds of hours on trying to reach 100%) so I'm eagerly awaiting not having to face that problem. ...So what do you think of it, peoples opinions are sort of the point of this thread after all. -
Its identity is clearly a form of Ventus influenced by nightmares or a nightmare influenced by Ventus in some way; vague? yes, but at least its something I can be certain of.

KH3D Action outside the Realm of Sleep? I think so.
keystrike replied to Blue Rhapsody's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
In the recent interview with Nintendo power: The one thing is that xion couldn't be said to be in the same situation as Axel or Xemnas just going around the world doing whatever. -
KH3D Ursula may not mean a Little Mermaid world
keystrike replied to Voxeril's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Maybe, I thought it could be part of the memoir feature. -
Why is this in the DDD section? Its been known since kh2 that the heartless symbol without the thorned 'x' is his keychain. Unless you just noticed this, which is completely understandable. The keyblade speaks pretty clearly for itself (white wing emerging from devil wing has a momentum towards the light; going to light, or day = dawn; way to the dawn) and there's not much special about the keychain. This 'empty heartless symbol' was also on Riku's dark suit so it could just be a symbol of his.

I can guarantee you that you will NOT and by that I mean never in a million years get S+10 on each level 3 mission without this ship: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03_pE-_2y2Y ... Well I don't know about a million years but I doubt you'll get passed a hundred. If you simply want to get every item, it'll take some searching, and the impact gummis help a lot on the one with the giant turtle heartless/nobody things on the level called floating island if my memory serves me right. Also, if you're having trouble with one, chances are you can up your ships power with items from another level that you never picked up. Don't expect to get everything on your first or second go. About the recipes, I think you have to simply level up the shop by syntheizing more items. Its like exp, except for moogles. One of the crystals doubles the exp I think, but that part would be easy to figure out. Hope it helped!

I was riding my bike the other day and I thought somebody said 'kupo' to me. I really need to get of ffxiii2.
-
My humble opinion is that that is more than just an opinion. I don't feel like digging up the interviews right now but there is tons of evidence towards kh3d being realized mostly because of a simple request of Nintendo's and not having enough games until kh3 to satisfy the game a year thing. In fact every game released through the japanese bbs, including the original coded, were developed without kh3d in mind. Unless of course it was a little part of the plot like Ansem's data which would have been in kh3 anyway. The ultimania was the last content that planned on kh3 being the next main title with E3 2010 a couple moths later showing us their new plan. And yes, I do put as much effort into my real life.

I think I might agree with your idea on how YMX came to be, well, its more like I feel like were wandering in the right direction. I also think it should be kept in mind that 'Master Xehanorts Nobody' was meant to be used in a game other than kh3d which could have been either BBSV2 or KH3. Concerning the time manipulating aspect, I had another theory identical in concept, but I went more into detail with it. Seeing another person come to the same conclusion makes me buy into the idea even more. (excuse me for a minute)Let me just say that I can guarantee that BBSV2 will be a game. It originally had plans to have been released by now, but with the inclusion of KH3D I'd guess it has been postponed. Why postponed? Why not cancelled? Well, a good ways into the confirmation of kh3d, they released bbsfm hinting at the mystery game so we know kh3d itself didn't take it out. On less abstract note Versus doesn't even have a released date yet so unless they plan on releasing kh3d final mix and another remake we'll be left with a year without a game. Also BBSV2, if the series continues to follow the 'main-side-main-side... etc' pattern, will be a side game, and if it is a side game, the last thing it is going to be is the first of the series to go HD on a device that is not selling well. /rant Those are my thoughts on it at least.
