Hajime Tabata (game director of Crisis Core) made a few posts about Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, a game which I believe he's not actually involved in. "KH Re:Coded is quite an amazing achievement," wrote Tabata. "It's developing into a very enjoyable game. The graphics and action are the highest level of DS. The gameplay is full of ideas and service." (I think "service" here means "fan service.") Tabata believes that Re:Coded could be the most enjoyable KH game yet. The thing that seems to most impress him is that the game isn't just "interesting," but is "fun." "It's a game that will give you the pure feeling of 'Ah, this is fun.' It fully realizes its concept. This is just the impression of someone watching the development from nearby, but I believe it's a game that you can really look forward to." Nomura confirmed later that there would be no bundle version for Re:Coded. Source: http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/08/12/3rd_birthday_twitter_update/ and http://www.khinsider.com

KHRecoded Re:coded Nearing Completion and more!!!!!!!
pepe1092 posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
3rd Birthday and Re:Coded Development Approaching Completion More from Tecchan at the 3rd Birthday Twitter. Tetsuya Nomura got up early Monday morning and immediately began responding to fan questions at The 3rd Birthday Twitter. Here's a bit of what the producer extraordinaire had to say on some of Square Enix's biggest upcoming titles. Similar to yesterday, I'll put summaries of all of today's Tweets from The 3rd Birthday Twitter in this column, so check back throughout the day. Lets hope Nomura makes more than just three posts today! A Tale of Two ROMs (added 8/09 26:35) There are currently two 3rd Birthday ROMs in development at Square Enix. First, the beta version that was mentioned at the Twitter last week. This is for internal Square Enix use. The other version is a demo version for the GamesCom press. This demo is meant to introduce the press to the game, but is something that is not ready for consumption by the general public. Upcoming Official Site Update (added 8/09 26:35) The general 3rd Birthday promotional staff took over the Twitter and revealed that an upcoming update at the official site will offer Twitter icons. Other Nomura Games Come Before Versus (added 10:32) This shouldn't come as a surprise, but Tetsuya Nomura says he has a number of unannounced titles in the works. These will actually come before Agito and Versus. In fact, it seems that some of them have had their voice recording finished already. The games will be announced in Japan. No Versus and Agito at Gamescom (added 10:32) Hoping to get your next glimpse at Versus and Agito at German's Gamescom? Don't count on it. According to Nomura, similar to E3, these two will not be shown in Germany. Square Enix will just be showing The 3rd birthday and Kingdom Hearts. Agito and Versus Now Undergoing Voice Casting (added 10:21) Continuing with his update on Final Fantasy Versus and Agito XIII, Nomura wrote, "Agito and Versus have different production styles and progress states, but they're both presently undergoing voice casting. 3rd's recording will end shortly. Next up is Agito." Final Fantasy Versus XIII's Fields (added 10:19) Finally, some commentary on Final Fantasy Versus XIII! Wrote Nomura, "Versus has had many difficulties, and past method of production have been completely inapplicable, but these are the difficulties of birth, so we are working hard. We have a lot to announce, but because we're going in order, I can't say too much yet." By "order," Nomura is referring to what appears to be Square Enix's policy since last year's Tokyo Game Show to promote games in the order of their release. Nomura has commented on this in past interviews. He continued, "There have been many questions regarding fields. It's not a completely open world. It's like the 2D FF games in HD. Although, in terms of looks, it's not a top-down view, it's like the screenshots that have been released. You'll move through the world from that view." In case you haven't seen the screenshots (I believe they have yet to appear outside of print), the game has a behind-the-back viewpoint. The 3rd Birthday Nearing Completion Wrote Nomura as his first Tweet of the morning, "Regarding The 3rd Birthday, as Taba-chan wrote here, production is about to enter the final stage. Starting this month, we should release constant information in magazines and the likes, so look forward to it." "Taba-chan" is Nomura's cute way of referring to Hajime Tabata, The 3rd Birthday's director. Nomura previously Tweeted that upcoming magazine coverage would offer closer looks at the game's characters, including Hyde, who appears to be one of the main forces in Aya's CTI (Counter Twisted Investigation) force. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded Also Nearing Completion Nomura's second post of the morning concerned something unrelated to The 3rd Birthday. "KH Re:Coded, which is set for release on 10/7, is almost complete as far as development goes. We're currently working on the packaging and promotions. The approach has changed a bit this time to light taste." Thanks to http://www.khinsider.com, http://twitter.com/3rd_birthday and http://www.andriasang.com -

Here the article: Order the new DS title in advance, and you'll get an original Kingdom Hearts shopping bag. This size A4 cotton bag features a monochrome illustration showing the characters who appear in the game. You can get a look at some of those characters at the newly updated official site. Visit the world section for a look at a few of the game areas, including Destiny Island, Traverse Town and Wonderland. You'll find some familiar Final Fantasy characters there, including Final Fantasy X's Tidus and Wakka, Final Fantasy VIII's Selphie, and Final Fantasy VII's Cid. You'll also find profiles of some of your favorite Disney characters. Square Enix did not share an image of the bonus shopping bag, but we should get a look soon enough, as Re:Coded is due for release on October 7.
