  1. Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I've been looking into some of the ones you've mentioned so now I won't be bored for a while~
  2. I've read the mangas of One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail and so on... But I get tired watching actionanimes like these. The fights are neverending and there are often over hundred of episodes. It's fine when reading, but I just think it's boring to watch. I'm not saying I don't want to watch any action at all, because I like that, but i hope you know what I mean. I'd prefer something maybe... I don't know, more mature? Like a bit dark, but with great story and characters, and humor as well. I've seen Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note and I really enjoyed these shows for example.
  3. Hey everyone! A couple of years ago, I watched a lot of anime, but then I stopped due to several reasons (didn't have the time or interest etc.). But now I want to get into it again, although I don't really know where to start. I have a few that I think seems interesting: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing, Guilty Crown, Gundam Wing, FLCL (?) and Cowboy Bebop to name a few. Are any of these worth checking out? Or do you have a better suggestion? I'm not too fond of Shoujo, but then I liked Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club so I'm pretty open to anything.
  4. I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". I generally don't like romantic movies much, but I love this one.
  5. On school days about 2- 3 hours, and I think about 3 - 4 hours on weekends. Including tv and games. I can't sit still for a long time, and my eyes hurt if I stare at a screen for too long.
  6. Well, I see your point. But I don't think just because some criminals don't think highly of human life and treats their victims however they want, it doesn't mean that the people following the law, the people passing judgement on them, should act the same way. That's not justice in my eyes. Just kind of... childish. Of course I think that criminals should be punished in a way so they don't be a danger to society, but murdering is never right.
  7. It really gets to me that so many here talks about other's lifes as if they were nothing; "It's expensive to let criminals live, so we should kill them off", is what many seem to think. Honestly. It may be criminals, but it's still HUMAN LIFE. And even if the innocents being sentenced aren't many, it's irreplaceble life and such risks should never be taken. That's not justice at all.
  8. I do understand why so many people are in favor of death penalty. But I, myself, isn't. I'm not religious or anything, but deciding who should be allowed to live or die is just not something that should be left to man. Killing someone isn't going to bring the victim(s) back, it won't do any good. I actually read an article just the other day about a man whose daughter had been killed in a bombing a while ago, an incident which broke him down and all he could feel was hatred towards the one who had planted the bomb. But even though the criminal was sentenced to death, he felt no peace or satisfaction. I don't think these kind of actions can ever bring peace to society no matter what the sentenced criminal might've done. Besides, countries with death penalty as punishment often has really high crime rates anyway, and often innocent people are being killed off as well. Death should never be used if avoiding it is possible. That's what I think.
  9. He killed Vexen because Marluxia ordered him to do so. Since he wanted Marluxia to believe that he was in on the plan on taking over the organization, he had to do as he was told. If he had refused, he wouldn't have earned Marluxia's trust. As for Zexion, it was because Zexion figured out that Axel and Saïx planned to take over the organization, and so he knew too much.
  10. I don't get why people call him a pedo just because his best friend is some years younger and he got the mission to chase after him http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-confuse.png I have many friends that are a lot older than me. Doesn't mean they're pedophiles...
  11. Hehe thanks! Nice to meet you too 8D

  12. Hehe YAH! They're awesome!! x)]

  13. For me it was Kingdom Hearts, when it first came out in 2002 :] I think I was about seven or eight, I wanted it only because it had disney characters but when my brother started playing it, I kinda fell in love 8D
  14. It's pretty hard to choose from all of the characters... There are so many But I think I will have to go with Naminé. I've always liked her a lot, even though she creeped me out a little in KH2 before I knew who she was. At first though, when I saw her in CoM, I thought it was irritating how she waited for Sora to come save her and how she didn't stand up for herself, but after some thought I realised it was only realistic; if you've been locked inside a castle since the day you were born, surrounded by adults who wouldn't think twice about hitting you if you didn't do what you were told, and you couldn't fight at all... you probably wouldn't make much noise to begin with. She does selfish things; eareses Sora's memory of his friends and replaces them with memories of her instead, because she doesn't want to be alone anymore. This is something many people doesn't like her for, but for me, it's one of the reasons she's the best character. She knows what she does is wrong, but she still does it, even though she feels terrible. That's how much she hates being alone. She isn't perfect and all loyal to begin with, like Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Aqua etc. but she does things for her own benefit. However, seeing how dearly Sora loves his friends, makes her understand friendship more and what it's all about. That's why she, in the end, decides to ignore the organizations orders and not be their slave anymore, despite the consequences. She really learns from her mistakes. And she knows that letting Sora go will mean lonliness again for her, but she still helps him all she can, like he did all he could to help her when she was in trouble. I also think her life is maybe the most tragic one out of all the characters. At least Roxas, for example, had friends even though he had to give them up. Naminé had no one until Sora came, and despite him becoming so important to her he chose to forget about her. That must've hurt a lot. And after that, she's being used by DiZ for a year or so, again alone, until she finally fuses with Kairi again. It's so sad, seeing how she wanted to be her own person but couldn't.... Oh and as the other Naminé person said (I forgot the name, sorry DX), she doesn't judge people by light and dark like most other characters; she thinks of everyone equally. Wow, this got way longer than I thought it would...
  15. I love Death Note! I will definetley look at that link

  19. Wow. It seems almost impossible to have that much bad luck on ONE day, but apperently not... Sounds awful. Well at least you have it done now, and I hope tomorrow's gonna be better for you.
  20. Larxene hands down. She's just so freakin' fast, perfect when you should defeat those small things that runs around and only attack if you kill one of them (I forgot what they're called >.<)
