    for the sake of continuing ansem's research, when xehanort became a heartless and nobody, his heartless took ansem's name for its own. xemnas, the nobody, also based his name off of ansem.

    i don't even remember how i heard of KH, but i think i got my parents to buy me a copy out of KB Toys back when the mall i go to had a KB Toys. it's been too long since then, though, (8 or 9 years, i think), so i may be slightly wrong. case in point, i got the game, and now, age 18, 3 weeks away from college, i'm still hooked to the game. if only SE would get on with the series, and not feel the need to make spin offs just to answer fan's questions. that's something Nomura can do himself.

    just keep Utada and actually pay her what she deserves for her music. we're too far into the series to switch artists and use something completely different for the intro and credit scenes. could we use a new song or two, yes, but i'm all for supporting Utada and her music at this point.

    though i do have a life, i will miss the KH series, if it ends at some point in time. i will definitely revisit it in the future.

    either way, that would at least give him knowledge of the friendship between Terra and Aqua, and seeing as Xemnas is based out of Terra's body, he would probably want to embrace those memories from Terra as his own.

    1. I just pick whatever card shows up first on the selection thing. 2. all attack cards, strongest to weakest, as many as I can fit in the deck at the time. might start figuring out some sleights after another world or two, when I decide to start playing CoM again. 3. on my latest save file I've been getting 10 levels in each world, so I spam cards like Teeming Darkness when I can get them, and when I get 1200 Moogle Points I open a room to get attack and magic/summoning cards. 4. haven't really thought about a favorite card. but if I had to pick one, I guess I'll say Mingling Words, like some others have said.

    the events of BBS happen, and the body of Terra now holds his own heart, MX's heart, and Master Eraqus' heart. knowing this, when his body splits into it's heartless and nobody, how do you think the three hearts spread out? i'm debating a few theories with myself. it could have taken one of Sora's possible situations, where some number hearts could split and reside in both Xemnas and Ansem SoD, or where both hearts, in Sora's case, could have stayed with him. or, all three hearts residing in Terra's body moved to reside in Ansem SoD, which could be why Ansem SoD, as a heartless, was probably able to have that much of a resemblance to an actual human being, holding in the strength of three different hearts. any thoughts as to how that would work out?

    i actually think Vanitas may not be needed to bring Ven back. we all know that Ven gave the remaining pure light part of his heart to Sora after defeating Vanitas. but as far as we know of, Sora doesn't have a heart of pure light. so in a future KH game, when Sora finds a way to get Ven's heart back to him, Sora may transfer some of the darkness from his own heart with Ven's heart, which would make Ven's heart complete, and officially bring him back.

    i first got KH1 i think around 9 or 10 years old (i don't remember whether KH1 was released in 2001 or 2002). around the time it was first released, i either saw a commercial for it, or i had heard about it somewhere, and i picked up a copy not too long after. been a fan since. i am just wishing i could muster up some cash from somewhere to preorder a PSP and BBS now, before i start complaining about the wait for the american release.

    if she were to have some more meaning behind her than just being some memories extracted from Sora, then perhaps a future game will feature a return of Xion in some way. but from what i've seen/heard (coming from a person who hasn't played 358/2 Days), i think Xemnas' only purpose with Xion was to have another makeshift keyblade bearer for getting hearts from the heartless to help finish up Organization XIII's version of Kingdom Hearts.

    a pathway to light opens for Sora and Riku at the end of KH2 after you finish beating Xemnas for the billionth time, when they're in that world that ATW and Aqua are in at the end of Aqua's story in BBS (can't think of the name right now).

    That's brilliant. Save up for a system that's not even confirmed to be the system that KH3 will be on, and probably won't be on. At this rate, KH3 might not even be for any of the current systems. By the time it comes out, the new consoles will probably be out (IIRC Sony said there won't be a PS4 or any new Sony console) And if it is coming out in this game generation, don't expect a PS3 release. Nomura's smarter than that. and why do you think that the PS3 is a bad idea? aside from 358/2 days and coded, every kingdom hearts game to date has been released on a playstation console (PS2 and PSP). a potential PS3 release would only make sense to me.

    Terra's voice: as others have said on another thread, his voice probably could have been a bit deeper. other than that, though, not bad. Ven's voice: at this point, i think we all agree. it's Jesse. it's gonna be good. Aqua's voice: others have been complaining her voice is too deep. i actually like it, and think that VA was a good choice. Vanitas' voice: i guess this one is Haley Joel Osment. i thought that it was good that he didn't sound like Sora. his voice was a bit deeper, and i thought that fit the whole bad - guy thing better. MX and Master Eraqus: Eraqus seemed like he had a good VA. i thought the voice fit well. as for MX, i don't think that the voice should be sounding that old. i mean, yeah, MX is an older age, but i don't think that he is that old that he should get a voice that sounds like an older, more decrepit Yoda.

    Sephiroth was only an optional boss in KHI. some of us players may not have taken the time to try and beat him. hence when Cloud mentions Sephiroth, Sora wouldn't have remembered him.

    well, i doubt it's Organization XIII he's talking about, if it's being said on day 6 of 358/2 days as well. maybe he's talking about how there were 6 original apprentices to ATW, and he could be the only one still continuing Ansem's research. i'm not 100% up to date on this stuff, seeing as i have yet to play 358/2 days (i don't have a ds), and i'm trying to figure out as much as i can about bbs, so what i said above is just a theory.

    He did die in one way. When Ansem SoD and Xemnas was created Terranort/Xehanort vanished keep in mind that Nomura said that when a person's heartless and nobody are defeated in that order, their somebody is brought back to life, so Xehanort as ATW's apprentice is alive and out there somewhere right now. What I don't get is what about Eraqus, and MX? and Terra? If *spoiler* (all of them merged) together and then spilt to become "Awsem" and "Xemnas" then would that make all three alive? or are they now back as one? and if the "apprentace" is "alive" wouldn't fighting "him" with a keyblade be uselass and create a paradox cyle? they should still be all as one person, if i'm not mistaken. defeating the heartless and nobody, if i'm understanding correctly, should bring back the being that split into that heartless and that nobody. which in this case would be the combination of Terra, MX, and Master Eraqus. now how to split them up so that MX, Master Eraqus, and Terra all have their own bodies back, i don't know. that's possibly something for a future game, or that's been told about and i just have seen anything about it yet.

    for the gold and platinum cards, do you need the premium version (shiny/flashy) cards as well? and for the special rooms in each world, how many heartless do you have to defeat to get them? i've been playing my way through re com again lately, and i'm getting 10 levels in each world, and have not gotten one of those special room cards yet.

    It's possible that Aqua also left behind lingering sentiments in her armor. Actually, this little tidbit is mentioned in one of the Ultimania interviews in a response to a question regarding Xemnas and Castle Oblivion, in which of course, Xemnas was searching for Ven, and who else could've told him but Aqua? you're definitely on to something there. i would imagine that there could be a good chance of Aqua's armor having a lingering sentiment, at least in memory and voice. i only have one question for that (not to be a skeptic, or whatever). i'm sure most of us have seen the japanese cutscene of Aqua's story after her final battle, where she gives her keyblade to Terra, also producing her armor when AtW, Braig, and Dilan find him. you think pre - mansex/Ansem SoD Terra would have some sort of connection as a result of this? i'm probably just rambling on about something completely irrelevant, but just trying to toss something out there for the sake of theorizing.

    everyone else here pretty much has it nailed. Terra performed the right of succession with Riku, so he was supposed to be the original recipient of the keyblade. when Riku gave into the darkness, the keyblade chose the next strongest heart of light, which was Sora. then, as everyone else said, there was the incident at hallow bastion, which is where the keyblade became rightfully Sora's.

    i was watching the japanese cut scenes of coded here on kh13, and i got confused when watching the scenes in agrabah at the entrance to the cave of wonders. malefacent destroys sora's keybalde, then a few cutscenes later he has it back. i don't know much at all in the way of japanese, so maybe characters in the game explained what happened and i just couldn't translate it over to english, but how did that work out? i just found that a little odd...

    well he can't have lost that much of his memory, if he was able to tell Aqua about Sora being one of the next generation keyblade wielders.
